JERUSALEM	DOUAI-RHEIMS
1 Pour le service, David et les officiers mirent à part les fils d'Asaph, de Hémân et de Yedutûn,les prophètes qui s'accompagnaient de lyres, de cithares et de cymbales, et l'on compta les hommes affectés à ceservice.	1 Moreover David and the chief .officers of the army separated for the ministry the sons of Asaph, and of Heman, and of Idithun : to prophesy with harps, and with psalteries, and with cymbals according to their number serving in their appointed office.
2 Pour les fils d'Asaph: Zakkur, Yoseph, Netanya, Asarééla; les fils d'Asaph dépendaient deleur père qui prophétisait sous la direction du roi.	2 Of the sons of Asaph: Zacchur, and Joseph, and Nathania, and Asarela, sons of Asaph: under the hand of Asaph prophesying near the king.
3 Pour Yedutûn: fils de Yedutûn: Gedalyahu, Ceri, Yeshayahu, Hashabyahu, Mattityahu; ilsétaient six sous la direction de leur père Yedutûn qui prophétisait au son des lyres en l'honneur et à la louange deYahvé.	3 And of Idithun: the sons of Idithun, Godolias, Serf, Jeseias, and Hasabias, and Mathathias, six, under the hand of their father Idithun, who prophesied with a harp to give thanks and to praise the Lord.
4 Pour Hémân: fils de Hémân: Buqqiyyahu, Mattanyahu, Uzziel, Shebuel, Yerimot, Hananya,Hanani, Eliata, Giddalti, Româmti-Ezer, Yoshbeqasha, Malloti, Hotir, Mahaziot.	4 Of Heman also: the sons of Heman, Bocciau, Mathaniau, Oziel, Subuel, and Jerimoth, Hananias, Hanani, Eliatha, Geddelthi, and Romemthiezer, and Jesbacassa, Mellothi, Othir, Mahazioth:
5 Tous ceux-là étaient fils de Hémân, le voyant du roi; aux paroles de Dieu, ils sonnaient de latrompe. Dieu donna à Hémân quatorze fils et trois filles;	5 All these were the sons of Heman the seer of the king in the words of God, to lift up the horn: and God gave to Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.
6 ils chantaient tous sous la direction de leur père dans le Temple de Yahvé, au son descymbales, des cithares et des lyres, au service du Temple de Dieu, sous les ordres du roi. Asaph, Yedutûn,Hémân,	6 All these under their father's hand were distributed to sing in the temple of the Lord, with cymbals, and psalteries and harps, for the service of the house of the Lord near the king: to wit, Asaph, and Idithun, and Heman.
7 ceux qui avaient appris à chanter pour Yahvé, furent comptés avec leurs frères; ils étaient entout 288 à s'y entendre.	7 And the number of them with their brethren, that taught the song of the Lord, all the teachers, were two hundred and eighty-eight,
8 Ils tirèrent au sort l'ordre à observer, pour le petit comme pour le grand, pour le maîtrecomme pour l'élève.	8 And they cast lots by their courses, the elder equally with the younger, the learned and the unlearned together.
9 Le premier sur qui tomba le sort fut l'Asaphite Yoseph. Le second fut Gedalyahu; avec sesfils et ses frères ils étaient douze.	9 And the first lot came forth to Joseph, who was of Asaph. The second to Godolias, to him and his sons, and his brethren twelve.
10 Le troisième fut Zakkur; avec ses fils et ses frères ils étaient douze.	10 The third to Zachur, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
11 Le quatrième fut Yiçri; avec ses fils et ses frères ils étaient douze.	11 ,11The fourth to Isari, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
12 Le cinquième fut Netanyahu; avec ses fils et ses frères ils étaient douze.	12 The fifth to Nathania, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
13 Le sixième fut Buqqiyyahu; avec ses fils et ses frères ils étaient douze.	13 The sixth to Bocciau, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
14 Le septième fut Yesarééla; avec ses fils et ses frères ils étaient douze.	14 The seventh to Isreela, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
15 Le huitième fut Yeshayahu; avec ses fils et ses frères ils étaient douze.	15 The eighth to Jesaia, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
16 Le neuvième fut Mattanyahu; avec ses fils et ses frères ils étaient douze.	16 The ninth to Mathanaias, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
17 Le dixième fut Shiméï; avec ses fils et ses frères ils étaient douze.	17 The tenth to Semeias, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
18 Le onzième fut Azaréel; avec ses fils et ses frères ils étaient douze.	18 The eleventh to Azareel, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
19 Le douzième fut Hashabyahu; avec ses fils et ses frères ils étaient douze.	19 The twelfth to Hasabia, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
20 Le treizième fut Shubaël; avec ses fils et ses frères ils étaient douze.	20 The thirteenth to Subael, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
21 Le quatorzième fut Mattityahu; avec ses fils et ses frères ils étaient douze.	21 The fourteenth to Mathathias, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
22 Le quinzième fut Yerémot; avec ses fils et ses frères ils étaient douze.	22 The fifteenth to Jerimoth, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
23 Le seizième fut Hananyahu; avec ses fils et ses frères ils étaient douze.	23 The sixteenth to Hananias, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
24 Le dix-septième fut Yoshbeqasha; avec ses fils et ses frères ils étaient douze.	24 The seventeenth to Jesbacassa, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
25 Le dix-huitième fut Hanani; avec ses fils et ses frères ils étaient douze.	25 The eighteenth to Hanani, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
26 Le dix-neuvième fut Malloti; avec ses fils et ses frères ils étaient douze.	26 The nineteenth to Mellothi, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
27 Le vingtième fut Elyata; avec ses fils et ses frères ils étaient douze.	27 The twentieth to Eliatha, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
28 Le vingt et unième fut Hotir; avec ses fils et ses frères ils étaient douze.	28 The one and twentieth to Othir, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
29 Le vingt-deuxième fut Giddalti; avec ses fils et ses frères ils étaient douze.	29 The two and twentieth to Geddelthi, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
30 Le vingt-troisième fut Mahaziot; avec ses fils et ses frères ils étaient douze.	30 The three and twentieth to Mahazioth, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
