1 Alleluia. Lodate il Signore, o celesti, lodate il Signore, voi che state nell'alto.	1 Al eluia! Praise Yahweh from the heavens, praise him in the heights.
2 Lodatelo tutti, o angeli suoi, eserciti suoi, lodatelo tutti.	2 Praise him, all his angels, praise him, al his host!
3 Sole e luna, lodatelo, lodatelo tutte, o fulgide stelle.	3 Praise him, sun and moon, praise him, al shining stars,
4 Lodatelo, o cieli dei cieli, ed anche le acque che sono al disopra dei cieli	4 praise him, highest heavens, praise him, waters above the heavens.
5 Lodino il nome del Signore. Perchè Egli parlò e le cose furon fatte, ordinò e furon create.	5 Let them praise the name of Yahweh at whose command they were made;
6 Le rese stabili in eterno, per tutti i secoli: diede un ordine che non sarà trasgredito.	6 he established them for ever and ever by an unchanging decree.
7 Lodate il Signore, voi della terra, o dragoni, o abissi del mare,	7 Praise Yahweh from the earth, sea-monsters and all the depths,
8 E voi, fuoco, grandine, neve, ghiaccio, vento delle tempeste, che eseguite i suoi ordini,	8 fire and hail, snow and mist, storm-winds that obey his word,
9 E voi, monti, e voi tutte, o colline, alberi fruttiferi e cedri tutti,	9 mountains and every hill, orchards and every cedar,
10 Voi, o bestie selvagge, voi, animali domestici, voi, o serpenti, e voi, alati uccelli,	10 wild animals and al cattle, reptiles and winged birds,
11 Voi, o re della terra, e voi, o popoli tutti, o principi, e voi tutti, o giudici della terra.	11 kings of the earth and al nations, princes and all judges on earth,
12 I giovanetti, le vergini, i vecchi e i bambini lodino il nome del Signore.	12 young men and girls, old people and children together.
13 Perchè il nome di lui è il solo sublime,	13 Let them praise the name of Yahweh, for his name alone is sublime, his splendour transcends earthand heaven.
14 La sua maestà è al disopra del cielo e delia terra, ed ha esaltata la potenza del suo popolo: motivo di lode pei suoi santi, pei figli d'Israele, popolo a lui vicino. Alleluia.	14 For he heightens the strength of his people, to the praise of al his faithful, the children of Israel, thepeople close to him.
