SMITH VAN DYKE	NEW JERUSALEM
1 وادخلوا تابوت الله واثبتوه في وسط الخيمة التي نصبها له داود وقربوا محرقات وذبائح سلامة امام الله.	1 They brought the ark of God in and put it inside the tent which David had erected for it, and broughtburnt offerings and made communion sacrifices in God's presence.
2 ولما انتهى داود من اصعاد المحرقات وذبائح السلامة بارك الشعب باسم الرب.	2 And when David had finished making burnt offerings and communion sacrifices, he blessed thepeople in the name of Yahweh.
3 وقسم على كل آل اسرائيل من الرجال والنساء على كل انسان رغيف خبز وكاس خمر وقرص زبيب	3 To all the Israelites, both men and women, to each, he then distributed a loaf of bread, a portion ofmeat and a raisin cake.
4 وجعل امام تابوت الرب من اللاويين خداما ولاجل التذكير والشكر وتسبيح الرب اله اسرائيل	4 He appointed some of the Levites as ministers before the ark of Yahweh, to extol, glorify and praiseYahweh, God of Israel;
5 آساف الراس وزكريا ثانيه ويعيئيل وشميراموث ويحيئيل ومتثايا واليآب وبنايا وعوبيد ادوم ويعيئيل بآلات رباب وعيدان. وكان آساف يصوّت بالصنوج.	5 first Asaph, second Zechariah, then Uzziel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Mattithiah, Eliab, Benaiah, Obed-Edom and Jeiel, who played the lyre and harp, while Asaph played the cymbals.
6 وبنايا ويحزيئيل الكاهنان بالابواق دائما امام تابوت عهد الله.	6 The priests Benaiah and Jahaziel continually blew the trumpet before the ark of the covenant of God.
7 حينئذ في ذلك اليوم اولا جعل داود يحمد الرب بيد آساف واخوته	7 On that day, David was the first to assign to Asaph and his kinsmen the giving of thanks to Yahweh:
8 احمدوا الرب. ادعوا باسمه. اخبروا في الشعوب باعماله.	8 Give thanks to Yahweh, call his name aloud, proclaim his deeds to the peoples.
9 غنوا له. ترنموا له. تحادثوا بكل عجائبه.	9 Chant to him, play to him, sing about al his wonders!
10 افتخروا باسم قدسه. تفرح قلوب الذين يلتمسون الرب.	10 Take pride in his holy name, let your heart rejoice, you seekers of Yahweh!
11 اطلبوا الرب وعزّه. التمسوا وجهه دائما.	11 Seek out Yahweh, seek his strength, continual y seek out his presence!
12 اذكروا عجائبه التي صنع. آياته واحكام فمه.	12 Remember what wonders he has done, what miracles, what rulings he has given,
13 يا ذرية اسرائيل عبده وبني يعقوب مختاريه.	13 you offspring of Israel his servant, you children of Jacob his chosen one!
14 هو الرب الهنا. في كل الارض احكامه	14 For he is Yahweh our God, his authority extends throughout the world.
15 اذكروا الى الابد عهده. الكلمة التي اوصى بها الى الف جيل.	15 For ever remember his covenant, the pact imposed for a thousand generations,
16 الذي قطعه مع ابراهيم. وقسمه لاسحق.	16 which he concluded with Abraham, which was sworn by him to Isaac,
17 وقد اقامه ليعقوب فريضة ولاسرائيل عهدا ابديا.	17 since he confirmed it as a law for Jacob, as an eternal covenant for Israel,
18 قائلا لك اعطي ارض كنعان حبل ميراثكم.	18 saying, 'I wil give you the country; Canaan is the measure of your inheritance,
19 حين كنتم عددا قليلا قليلين جدا وغرباء فيها.	19 'though you are few in number, only a few strangers there!'
20 وذهبوا من امة الى امة ومن مملكة الى شعب آخر.	20 As they wandered from nation to nation, from this kingdom to that people,
21 لم يدع احدا يظلمهم بل وبّخ من اجلهم ملوكا.	21 he would not let anyone oppress them and on their account he admonished kings,
22 لا تمسّوا مسحائي ولا تؤذوا انبيائي	22 'You are not to touch my anointed ones, my prophets are not to be harmed!'
23 غنّوا للرب يا كل الارض. بشّروا من يوم الى يوم بخلاصه.	23 Sing to Yahweh, all the earth, day after day proclaim his salvation!
24 حدّثوا في الامم بمجده وفي كل الشعوب بعجائبه.	24 Declare his glory among the nations, his marvels to every people!
25 لان الرب عظيم ومفتخر جدا. وهو مرهوب فوق جميع الآلهة.	25 Great is Yahweh, worthy of all praise, more awesome than any of the gods.
26 لان كل آلهة الامم اصنام واما الرب فقد صنع السموات.	26 Nothingness, al the gods of the nations. Yahweh it was who made the heavens,
27 الجلال والبهاء امامه. العزّة والبهجة في مكانه.	27 in his presence are splendour and majesty, in his sanctuary strength and joy.
28 هبوا الرب يا عشائر الشعوب هبوا الرب مجدا وعزّة.	28 Give Yahweh his due, families of peoples, give Yahweh his due of glory and power,
29 هبوا الرب مجد اسمه. احملوا هدايا وتعالوا الى امامه. اسجدوا للرب في زينة مقدسة.	29 give Yahweh the glory due to his name! Bring an offering and enter his courts, bow down to Yahwehin his sacred court,
30 ارتعدوا امامه يا جميع الارض. تثبّتت المسكونة ايضا لا تتزعزع.	30 tremble before him, al the earth! The world is firm, it cannot be moved,
31 لتفرح السموات وتبتهج الارض ويقولوا في الامم الرب قد ملك.	31 let the heavens rejoice and earth be glad! Say among the nations, 'Yahweh is king!'
32 ليعج البحر وملؤه ولتبتهج البرية وكل ما فيها.	32 Let the sea thunder and al it holds, the countryside exult and everything that is in it,
33 حينئذ تترنم اشجار الوعر امام الرب لانه جاء ليدين الارض.	33 and al the trees of the forest cry out for joy at Yahweh's approach, for he is coming to judge theearth.
34 احمدوا الرب لانه صالح لان الى الابد رحمته.	34 Give thanks to Yahweh, for he is good, for his faithful love lasts for ever!
35 وقولوا خلّصنا يا اله خلاصنا واجمعنا وانقذنا من الامم لنحمد اسم قدسك ونتفاخر بتسبيحك.	35 Say, 'Save us, God of our salvation, gather us together and free us from the nations, so that we maygive thanks to your holy name -- to be extolled whenever you are praised!'
36 مبارك الرب اله اسرائيل من الازل والى الابد. فقال كل الشعب آمين وسبحوا الرب	36 Blessed be Yahweh, God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting! To which all the people said,'Amen, Al eluia!'
37 وترك هناك امام تابوت عهد الرب آساف واخوته ليخدموا امام التابوت دائما خدمة كل يوم بيومها	37 There before the ark of the covenant of Yahweh David left Asaph and his kinsmen to maintain apermanent ministry before the ark as each day's ritual required,
38 وعوبيد ادوم واخوتهم ثمانية وستين وعوبيد ادوم بن يديثون وحوسة بوابين.	38 and also Obed-Edom with his sixty-eight kinsmen. Obed-Edom son of Jeduthun, and Hosah weregatekeepers.
39 وصادوق الكاهن واخوته الكهنة امام مسكن الرب في المرتفعة التي في جبعون	39 Zadok the priest and the priests, his kinsmen, he left before the dwelling of Yahweh on the high placeat Gibeon
40 ليصعدوا محرقات للرب على مذبح المحرقة دائما صباحا ومساء وحسب كل ما هو مكتوب في شريعة الرب التي أمر بها اسرائيل.	40 to bring burnt offerings to Yahweh unfailingly, morning and evening, on the altar of burnt offering, andto carry out al that is written in the Law of Yahweh laid down for Israel.
41 ومعهم هيمان ويدوثون وباقي المنتخبين الذين ذكرت اسماؤهم ليحمدوا الرب لان الى الابد رحمته.	41 With them were Heman and Jeduthun and the rest of those who were chosen and assigned by nameto give thanks to Yahweh, 'for his faithful love lasts for ever'.
42 ومعهم هيمان ويدوثون بابواق وصنوج للمصوّتين وآلات غناء لله وبنو يدوثون بوابون.	42 With them were Heman and Jeduthun to play trumpets and cymbals, as wel as instruments foraccompanying sacred song. The sons of Jeduthun were in charge of the gates.
43 ثم انطلق كل الشعب كل واحد الى بيته ورجع داود ليبارك بيته	43 Then al the people went back to their homes, and David went back to bless his household.
