Psalms 146

1 Alleluia. Praise the Lord, because the psalm is good. Delightful and beautiful praise shall be for our God.	1 Laudate il Signore, per che egli è buono il al Dio nostro sia dilettevole e bella laude.
2 The Lord builds up Jerusalem. He will gather together the dispersed of Israel.	2 Il Signore, edificante Ierusalem, congregarà li dispersi d' Israel.
3 He heals the contrite of heart, and he binds up their sorrows.	3 Egli sana li contriti di cuore; e cura le contrizioni loro.
4 He numbers the multitude of the stars, and he calls them all by their names.	4 Egli enumera la moltitudine delle stelle; e chiama quelle con proprii nomi.
5 Great is our Lord, and great is his virtue. And of his wisdom, there is no number.	5 Grande è il Signore nostro, e grande è la virtù sua; e alla sua sapienza non è numero.
6 The Lord lifts up the meek, but he brings down the sinner, even to the ground.	6 Il Signore riceve li mansueti; ma umilia li peccatori insino a terra.
7 Sing before the Lord with confession. Play psalms to our God on a stringed instrument.	7 Con melodia cantate nella confessione al Signore; nella citara salmizzate al Dio nostro.
8 He covers heaven with clouds, and he prepares rain for the earth. He produces grass on the mountains and herbs for the service of men.	8 Egli copre il cielo con le nebule; e alla terra apparecchia la piova. Egli fa nascere ne' monti il fieno, e l'erba a servizio delli uomini.
9 He gives their food to beasts of burden and to young ravens that call upon him.	9 Egli dà il cibo a' loro animali, e a' figliuoli de' corvi chiamanti lui.
10 He will not have good will for the strength of the horse, nor will he be well pleased with the legs of a man.	10 Non arà il suo desio nella fortezza del cavallo; nè nelle gambe dell' uomo piacerà a lui.
11 The Lord is well pleased with those who fear him and with those who hope in his mercy.	11 Al Signore ben piacciono li tementi suoi, e quelli che sperano sopra la misericordia sua.
