1 Alleluia. Praise the Lord, because the psalm is good. Delightful and beautiful praise shall be for our God.	1 ALLELUIA. Anima mia, loda il Signore.
2 The Lord builds up Jerusalem. He will gather together the dispersed of Israel.	2 Io loderò il Signore, mentre viverò; Io salmeggerò al mio Dio, mentre durerò.
3 He heals the contrite of heart, and he binds up their sorrows.	3 Non vi confidate in principi, Nè in alcun figliuol d’uomo, che non ha modo di salvare.
4 He numbers the multitude of the stars, and he calls them all by their names.	4 Il suo fiato uscirà, ed egli se ne ritornerà nella sua terra; In quel dì periranno i suoi disegni
5 Great is our Lord, and great is his virtue. And of his wisdom, there is no number.	5 Beato colui che ha l’Iddio di Giacobbe in suo aiuto, La cui speranza è nel Signore Iddio suo
6 The Lord lifts up the meek, but he brings down the sinner, even to the ground.	6 Il quale ha fatto il cielo e la terra, Il mare, e tutto ciò ch’è in essi; Che osserva la fede in eterno;
7 Sing before the Lord with confession. Play psalms to our God on a stringed instrument.	7 Il qual fa ragione agli oppressati; E dà del cibo agli affamati. Il Signore scioglie i prigioni.
8 He covers heaven with clouds, and he prepares rain for the earth. He produces grass on the mountains and herbs for the service of men.	8 Il Signore apre gli occhi a’ ciechi; Il Signore rileva quelli che son chinati; Il Signore ama i giusti.
9 He gives their food to beasts of burden and to young ravens that call upon him.	9 Il Signore guarda i forestieri; Egli solleva l’orfano e la vedova; E sovverte la via degli empi.
10 He will not have good will for the strength of the horse, nor will he be well pleased with the legs of a man.	10 Il Signore regna in eterno, E il tuo Dio, o Sion, per ogni età. Alleluia
11 The Lord is well pleased with those who fear him and with those who hope in his mercy.
