1 Hallelujah!	1 ALLELUJA! Dicsérd lelkem, az Urat!
2 Praise the LORD, my soul; I shall praise the LORD all my life, sing praise to my God while I live.	2 Dicsérem az Urat, amíg csak élek, zsoltárt énekelek Istenemnek, amíg csak leszek.
3 I Put no trust in princes, in mere mortals powerless to save.	3 Ne bízzatok fejedelmekben, emberek fiaiban, akik nem segíthetnek!
4 When they breathe their last, they return to the earth; that day all their planning comes to nothing.	4 Ha lelkük elszáll, visszatérnek a földbe, terveik még aznap mind megsemmisülnek.
5 Happy those whose help is Jacob's God, whose hope is in the LORD, their God,	5 Boldog, akinek segítője Jákob Istene, akinek az Úrban, az ő Istenében van reménye!

8 the LORD gives sight to the blind. The LORD raises up those who are bowed down; the LORD loves the righteous.	8 az Úr a vakokat látóvá teszi, az Úr felemeli a lesújtottakat, az Úr az igazakat szereti.
