1 Hallelujah!	1 Alleluia! Loue Yahvé, mon âme!
2 Praise the LORD, my soul; I shall praise the LORD all my life, sing praise to my God while I live.	2 Je veux louer Yahvé tant que je vis, je veux jouer pour mon Dieu tant que je dure.
3 I Put no trust in princes, in mere mortals powerless to save.	3 Ne mettez point votre foi dans les princes, dans un fils de la glaise, il ne peut sauver!
4 When they breathe their last, they return to the earth; that day all their planning comes to nothing.	4 Il rend le souffle, il retourne à sa glaise, en ce jour-là périssent ses pensées.
5 Happy those whose help is Jacob's God, whose hope is in the LORD, their God,	5 Heureux qui a l'appui du Dieu de Jacob et son espoir en Yahvé son Dieu,

8 the LORD gives sight to the blind. The LORD raises up those who are bowed down; the LORD loves the righteous.	8 Yahvé rend la vue aux aveugles, Yahvé redresse les courbés, Yahvé aime les justes,
9 The LORD protects the stranger, sustains the orphan and the widow, but thwarts the way of the wicked.	9 Yahvé protège l'étranger, il soutient l'orphelin et la veuve. Mais détourne la voie des impies,
10 The LORD shall reign forever, your God, Zion, through all generations! Hallelujah!	10 Yahvé règne pour les siècles, ton Dieu, ô Sion, d'âge en âge.
