1 El Señor reina, la tierra goza, | se alegran las islas innumerables.	1 The LORD is king; let the earth rejoice; let the many islands be glad.
2 Tiniebla y nube lo rodean, | justicia y derecho sostienen su trono.	2 Cloud and darkness surround the Lord; justice and right are the foundation of his throne.
3 Delante de él avanza el fuego, | abrasando en torno a los enemigos;	3 Fire goes before him; everywhere it consumes the foes.
4 sus relámpagos deslumbran el orbe, | y, viéndolos, la tierra se estremece.	4 Lightning illumines the world; the earth sees and trembles.
5 Los montes se derriten como cera ante el Señor, | ante el Señor de toda la tierra;	5 The mountains melt like wax before the LORD, before the Lord of all the earth.
6 los cielos pregonan su justicia, | y todos los pueblos contemplan su gloria.	6 The heavens proclaim God's justice; all peoples see his glory.
7 Los que adoran estatuas se sonrojan, | los que ponen su orgullo en los ídolos. | Adoradlo todos sus ángeles.	7 All who serve idols are put to shame, who glory in worthless things; all gods bow down before you.
8 Lo oye Sión, y se alegra; | se regocijan las ciudades de Judá | por tus sentencias, Señor;	8 Zion hears and is glad, and the cities of Judah rejoice because of your judgments, O LORD.
9 porque tú eres, Señor, | Altísimo sobre toda la tierra, | encumbrado sobre todos los dioses.	9 You, LORD, are the Most High over all the earth, exalted far above all gods.
10 Odiad el mal los que amáis al Señor: | él protege la vida de sus fieles | y los libra de los malvados.	10 The LORD loves those who hate evil, protects the lives of the faithful, rescues them from the hand of the wicked.
11 Amanece la luz para el justo, | y la alegría para los rectos de corazón.	11 Light dawns for the just; gladness, for the honest of heart.
12 Alegraos, justos, con el Señor, | celebrad su santo nombre.	12 Rejoice in the LORD, you just, and praise his holy name.
