1 Al Director. A Yedutún. Salmo de David.	1 To the choirmaster: according to Jeduthun. A Psalm of David. For God alone my soul waits in silence; from him comes my salvation.
2 Solo en Dios descansa mi alma, | porque de él viene mi salvación;	2 He only is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be greatly moved.
3 solo él es mi roca y mi salvación, | mi alcázar: no vacilaré.	3 How long will you set upon a man to shatter him, all of you, like a leaning wall, a tottering fence?
4 ¿Hasta cuándo arremeteréis contra un hombre | todos juntos, para derribarlo | como a una pared que cede | o a una tapia ruinosa?	4 They only plan to thrust him down from his eminence. They take pleasure in falsehood. They bless with their mouths, but inwardly they curse. [Selah]
5 Solo piensan en derribarlo de su altura, | y se complacen en la mentira: | con la boca bendicen, | con el corazón maldicen.	5 For God alone my soul waits in silence, for my hope is from him.
6 Descansa solo en Dios, alma mía, | porque él es mi esperanza;	6 He only is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be shaken.
7 solo él es mi roca y mi salvación, | mi alcázar: no vacilaré.	7 On God rests my deliverance and my honor; my mighty rock, my refuge is God.
8 De Dios viene mi salvación y mi gloria, | él es mi roca firme, Dios es mi refugio.	8 Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before him; God is a refuge for us. [Selah]
9 Pueblo suyo, confiad en él, | desahogad ante él vuestro corazón: | Dios es nuestro refugio. (Pausa)	9 Men of low estate are but a breath, men of high estate are a delusion; in the balances they go up; they are together lighter than a breath.
10 Los hijos de Adán no son más que un soplo, | todos los hombres, una apariencia: | todos juntos en la balanza subirían | más leves que un soplo.	10 Put no confidence in extortion, set no vain hopes on robbery; if riches increase, set not your heart on them.
11 No confiéis en la opresión, | no pongáis ilusiones en el robo; | y aunque crezcan vuestras riquezas, | no les deis el corazón.	11 Once God has spoken; twice have I heard this: that power belongs to God;
12 Dios ha dicho una cosa, | y he escuchado dos: | «Que Dios tiene el poder	12 and that to thee, O Lord, belongs steadfast love. For thou dost requite a man according to his work.
13 y el Señor tiene la gracia; | que tú pagas a cada uno | según sus obras».
