Josué 13

1 Josué era ya viejo y entrado en años. Yahveh le dijo: «Eres viejo y entrado en años, y queda todavía muchísima tierra por conquistar.	1 Joshua was old and advanced in age, and the Lord said to him: “You have grown old, and are aged, and a very wide land remains, which has not yet been divided by lot,
2 Esta es la tierra que queda: «Todos los distritos de los filisteos y todo lo de los guesuritas;	2 specifically, all of Galilee, Philistia, and all of Geshur;
3 desde Sijor, que esta al lado de Egipto, hasta el límite de Ecron por el norte, es considerado como de los cananeos. Los cinco tiranos de los filisteos son el de Gaza, el de Asdod, el de Ascalón, el de Gat y el de Ecrón. Los avitas	3 from the muddy river, which irrigates Egypt, as far as the border of Ekron toward the north, the land of Canaan, which is divided among the rulers of Philistia: the Gazites, and the Ashdodites, the Ashkelonites, the Gathites, and the Ekronites;
4 éstan al sur. Todo el país de los cananeos, y Mearah, que es de los sidonios, hasta Afeqá y hasta la frontera de los amorreos;	4 truly, to the south are the Hivites, all the land of Canaan, and Mearah of the Sidonians, as far as Aphek and the borders of the Amorite
5 luego el país de los guiblitas con todo el Líbano hacia la salida del sol, desde Baal Gad, al pie del monte Hermón, hasta la Entrada de Jamat.	5 and his confines; also, the region of Lebanon toward the east, from Baalgad, under mount Hermon, until you enter into Hamath;
6 «Yo arrojaré de la presencia de los israelitas a todos los habitantes de la montaña, desde el Líbano hasta Misrefot al occidente: a todos los sidonios. Tú solamente reparte por suertes la tierra como heredad entre los israelitas, según te he ordenado.	6 all who live in the mountains from Lebanon, as far as the waters of Misrephoth, and all the Sidonians. I am the One who will wipe them out, before the face of the sons of Israel. Therefore, let their land become a part of the inheritance of Israel, just as I have instructed you.
7 Reparte ya esta tierra como heredad entre las nueve tribus y la media tribu de Manasés: se la darás desde el Jordán hasta el mar Grande de occidente; el mar Grande será su límite».	7 And now, divide the land as a possession to the nine tribes, and to the one half tribe of Manasseh.”
8 La otra nedia tribu de Manasés, junto con los rubenitas y los gaditas, había recibido ya la parte de la heredad que Moisés les había dado al lado oriental del Jordán, como Moisés, siervo de Yahveh, les había dado:	8 With them, Reuben and Gad have possessed the land, which Moses, the servant of the Lord, delivered to them beyond the river Jordan, on the eastern side:
9 la tierra desde Aroer, que está a orillas del torrente Arnón, y la ciudad que está en medio de la vaguada: y toda la llanura desde Medbá hasta Dibón;	9 from Aroer, which is situated on the bank of the torrent Arnon and in the midst of the valley, and all the plains of Medeba, as far as Dibon;
10 todas las ciudades de Sijón, rey de los amorreos, que había reinado en Jesbón, hasta la frontera de los ammonitas.	10 and all the cities of Sihon, the king of the Amorites, who reigned in Heshbon, even to the borders of the sons of Ammon;
11 Además, Galaad y el territorio de los guesuritas y los maakatitas con toda la montaña del Hermón y todo Basán hasta Salká;	11 and Gilead, as well as the borders of Geshur and Maacati, and all of mount Hermon, and all of Bashan, as far as Salecah;
12 y dentro de Basán todo el reino de Og, que había reinado en Astarot y en Edreí, y era último residuo de los Refaím. Moisés los había batido y desposeído.	12 the entire kingdom of Og in Bashan, who reigned at Ashtaroth and Edrei, (he was among the last of the Rephaim). And Moses struck and destroyed them.
13 Pero los israelitas no desposeyeron ni a los guesuritas ni a los maakatitas, de manera que Guesur y Maaká siguen todavía hoy habitando en medio de Israel.	13 And the sons of Israel were not willing to destroy Geshur and Maacati, and so they have lived in the midst of Israel, even to the present day.
14 La tribu de Leví fue la única a la que no se dio heredad: Yahveh, Dios de Israel, fue su heredad, como se lo había dicho.	14 But to the tribe of Levi, he did not give a possession. Instead, the sacrifices and victims of the Lord, the God of Israel, these are his inheritance, just as he spoke to him.
15 Moisés había dado a la tribu de los hijos de Rubén una parte por clanes.	15 Therefore, Moses gave a possession to the tribe of the sons of Reuben, according to their families.
16 Su territorio fue desde Aroer, que está a orillas del torrente Arnón, incluida la ciudad que está en medio de la vaguada, y todo el llano hasta Medbá;	16 And their border was from Aroer, which is situated on the bank of the torrent Arnon, and in the midst of the valley of the same torrent, with all the flatlands that lead to Medeba;
17 Jesbón con todas las ciudades situadas en el llano: Dibón, Bamot, Baal, Bet Baal Meón,	17 and Heshbon, and all their villages, which are in the plains; also Dibon, and Bamothbaal, and the town of Baalmeon,
18 Yahás, Quedemot, Mefaat,	18 and Jahaz, and Kedemoth, and Mephaath,
19 Quiryatáyim, Sibmá, y Seret Hassajar, en el monte del valle;	19 and Kiriathaim, and Sibmah, and Zereth-shahar on the mountain of the steep valley;
20 Bet Peor, las laderas del Pisgá, Bet Hayesimot,	20 Bethpeor, and the descending slopes of Pisgah, and Beth-jeshimoth;
21 todas las ciudades del llano y todo el reino de Sijón, rey de los amorreos, que reinó en Jesbón y a quien venció Moisés, igual que a los príncipes de Madián: Eví, Réquem, Sur, Jur, Rebá, vasallos de Sijón, que habitaban en el país.	21 and all the cities of the plain, and all the kingdoms of Sihon, the king of the Amorites, who reigned at Heshbon, whom Moses struck down with the leaders of Midian: Evi, and Rekem, and Zur, and Hur, and Reba, the commanders of Sihon, inhabitants of the land.
22 Al adivino Balaam, hijo de Beor, los israelitas lo habían pasado a cuchillo con otras víctimas.	22 And the sons of Israel killed Balaam, the son of Beor, the seer, with the sword, along with the others who were slain.
23 Así el territorio de los rubenitas llegaba hasta el Jordán. Esta fue la heredad de los hijos de Rubén por clanes: las ciudades y sus aldeas.	23 And the river Jordan was made the border of the sons of Reuben; this is the possession of the Reubenites, by their families, in cities and villages.
24 A la tribu de Gad, a los hijos de Gad, había dado Moisés una parte conforme a sus clanes.	24 And Moses gave to the tribe of Gad and his sons, by their families, a possession, of which this is the division:
25 Su territorio fue Yazer, todas las ciudades de Galaad, la mitad del país de los ammonitas hasta Aroer, que está enfrente de Rabbá,	25 the border of Jazer, and all the cities of Gilead, and one half part of the land of the sons of Ammon, as far as Aroer, which is opposite Rabbah;
26 y desde Jesbón hasta Ramat Hammispá y Betonim, y desde Majanáyim hasta el territorio de Lo Debar;	26 and from Heshbon as far as Ramath, Mizpeh, and Betonim; and from Mahanaim as far as the borders of Debir;
27 y en el valle: Bet Jaram, Bet Nimrá, Sukkot, Safón - el resto del reino de Sijón, rey de Jesbón -, el Jordán y el territorio hasta la punta del mar de Kinnéret, al lado oriental del Jordán.	27 also, in the valley Beth-haram and Beth-nimrah, and Succoth, and Zaphon, the remaining part of the kingdom of Sihon, the king of Heshbon; the limit of this also is the Jordan, as far as the furthest part of the sea of Chinnereth, beyond the Jordan on the eastern side.
28 Esta fue la heredad de los hijos de Gad por clanes: las ciudades y sus aldeas.	28 This is the possession of the sons of Gad, by their families, in their cities and villages.
29 A la media tribu de Manasés le había dado Moisés una parte conforme a sus clanes.	29 He also gave, to the one half tribe of Manasseh and to his sons, a possession according to their families,
30 Su territorio comprendía, desde Majanáyim, todo el Basán, todos los Aduares de Yaír en Basán: sesenta ciudades;	30 the beginning of which is this: from Mahanaim, all of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Og, the king of Bashan, and all the villages of Jair, which are in Bashan, sixty towns;
31 la mitad de Galaad, Astarot y Edreí, ciudades del reino de Og en Basán. Pasaron a ser de los hijos de Makir, hijo de Manasés, de la mitad de los hijos de Makir por clanes.	31 and one half part of Gilead, and Ashtaroth, and Edrei, the cities of the kingdom of Og in Bashan, to the sons of Machir, the son of Manasseh, to one half part of the sons of Machir, according to their families.
32 Esto fue lo que repartió en heredad Moisés en las Estepas de Moab, al otro lado del Jordán, al oriente de Jericó.	32 Moses divided this possession, in the plains of Moab, beyond the Jordan, opposite Jericho on the eastern side.
33 Pero Moisés no dio heredad a la tribu de Leví: Yahveh, el Dios de Israel, es su heredad, como se lo había dicho.	33 But to the tribe of Levi he did not give a possession. For the Lord, the God of Israel, is himself their possession, just as he spoke to him.
