1 Oráculo contra Egipto. Allá va Yahveh cabalgando sobre nube ligera y entra en Egipto, se tambalean los ídolos de Egipto ante él y el corazón de Egipto se derrite en su interior.	1 Oracle on Egypt: See, the LORD is riding on a swift cloud on his way to Egypt; The idols of Egypt tremble before him, the hearts of the Egyptians melt within them.
2 Revolveré a egipcios contra egipcios, peleará cada cual con su hermano, y cada uno con su compañero, ciudad contra ciudad, reino contra reino.	2 I will rouse Egypt against Egypt: brother will war against brother, Neighbor against neighbor, city against city, kingdom against kindgom.
3 Se trastornará el espíritu de Egipto en su interior, y sus planes anularé. Consultarán a los ídolos, a los brujos, a los nigromantes y los adivinos.	3 The courage of the Egyptians ebbs away within them, and I will bring to nought their counsel; They shall consult idols and charmers, ghosts and spirits.
4 Entregaré a Egipto en manos de un señor duro, y un rey cruel los dominará - oráculo del Señor Yahveh Sebaot -.	4 I will deliver Egypt into the power of a cruel master, A harsh king who shall rule over them, says the Lord, the LORD of hosts.
5 Se desecarán las aguas del mar, y el Río se secará y quedará seco; hederán los ríos,	5 The waters shall be drained from the sea, the river shall shrivel and dry up;
6 menguarán y se secarán los canales de Egipto. La caña y el junco se marchitarán.	6 Its streams shall become foul, and the canals of Egypt shall dwindle and dry up. Reeds and rushes shall wither away,
7 Los prados junto al canal, junto al borde del canal, y todo sembrado del canal se secarán, serán aventados y desaparecerán.	7 and bulrushes on the bank of the Nile; All the sown land along the Nile shall dry up and blow away, and be no more.
8 Gemirán los pescadores, y se lamentarán todos los que echan en el canal anzuelo; y los que extienden red sobre las aguas, languidecerán.	8 The fishermen shall mourn and lament, all who cast hook in the Nile; Those who spread their nets in the water shall pine away.
9 Estarán confusos los que trabajan el lino, cardadoras y tejedores palidecerán.	9 The linen-workers shall be disappointed, the combers and weavers shall turn pale;
10 Estarán sus tejedores abatidos, todos los jornaleros desanimados.	10 The spinners shall be crushed, all the hired laborers shall be despondent.
11 En verdad, están locos los príncipes de Soán, los sabios consejeros de Faraón forman un estúpido consejo. ¿Cómo decís a Faraón: «Hijo de sabios soy, hijo de reyes antiguos?»	11 Utter fools are the princes of Zoan! the wisest of Pharaoh's advisers give stupid counsel. How can you say to Pharaoh, "I am a disciple of wise men, of ancient kings"?
12 Pues entonces, ¿dónde están tus sabios? Que te manifiesten, pues, y te hagan conocer lo que ha planeado Yahveh Sebaot tocante a Egipto.	12 Where then are your wise men? Let them tell you and make known What the LORD of hosts has planned against Egypt.
13 Han enloquecido los príncipes de Soán, han sido engañados los príncipes de Nof; los jefes de sus tribus extravían a Egipto.	13 The princes of Zoan have become fools, the princes of Memphis have been deceived. The chiefs of her tribes have led Egypt astray.
14 Yahveh ha infundido en ellos espíritu de vértigo que hace dar tumbos a Egipto en todas sus empresas, como se tambalea el ebrio en su vomitona.	14 The LORD has prepared among them a spirit of dizziness, And they have made Egypt stagger in whatever she does, as a drunkard staggers in his vomit.
15 Y no le sale bien a Egipto empresa alguna que haga la cabeza o la cola, la palmera o el junco.	15 Egypt shall have no work to do for head or tail, palm branch or reed.
16 Aquel día será Egipto como las mujeres. Temblará y se espantará cada vez que Yahveh Sebaot menee su mano contra él.	16 On that day the Egyptians shall be like women, trembling with fear, because of the LORD of hosts shaking his fist at them.
17 El territorio de Judá será la afrenta de Egipto: cada vez que se lo mienten, se espantará ante los planes que Yahveh Sebaot está trazando contra él.	17 And the land of Judah shall be a terror to the Egyptians. Every time they remember Judah, they shall stand in dread because of the plan which the LORD of hosts has in mind for them.
18 Aquel día habrá cinco ciudades en tierra de Egipto que hablarán la lengua de Canaán y que jurarán por Yahveh Sebaot: Ir Haheres se llamará una de ellas.	18 On that day there shall be five cities in the land of Egypt speaking the language of Canaan and swearing by the LORD of hosts; one shall be called "City of the Sun."
19 Aquel día habrá un altar de Yahveh en medio del país de Egipto y una estela de Yahveh junto a su frontera.	19 On that day there shall be an altar to the LORD in the land of Egypt, and a sacred pillar to the LORD near the boundary.
20 Estará como señal y testimonio de Yahveh Sebaot en el país de Egipto. Cuando clamen a Yahveh a causa de los opresores, les enviará un libertador que los defenderá y librará.	20 It shall be a sign and a witness to the LORD of hosts in the land of Egypt, when they cry out to the LORD against their oppressors, and he sends them a savior to defend and deliver them.
21 Será conocido Yahveh de Egipto, y conocerá Egipto a Yahveh aquel día, le servirán con sacrificio y ofrenda, harán votos a Yahveh y los cumplirán.	21 The LORD shall make himself known to Egypt, and the Egyptians shall know the LORD in that day; they shall offer sacrifices and oblations, and fulfill the vows they make to the LORD.
22 Yahveh herirá a Egipto, pero al punto le curará. Se convertirán a Yahveh, y él será propicio y los curará.	22 Although the LORD shall smite Egypt severely, he shall heal them; they shall turn to the LORD and he shall be won over and heal them.
23 Aquel día habrá una calzada desde Egipto a Asiria. Vendrá Asur a Egipto y Egipto a Asiria, y Egipto servirá a Asur.	23 On that day there shall be a highway from Egypt to Assyria; the Assyrians shall enter Egypt, and the Egyptians enter Assyria, and Egypt shall serve Assyria.
24 Aquel día será Israel tercero con Egipto y Asur, objeto de bendición en medio de la tierra,	24 On that day Israel shall be a third party with Egypt and Assyria, a blessing in the midst of the land,
25 pues le bendecirá Yahveh Sebaot diciendo: «Bendito sea mi pueblo Egipto, la obra de mis manos Asur, y mi heredad Israel».	25 when the LORD of hosts blesses it: "Blessed be my people Egypt, and the work of my hands Assyria, and my inheritance, Israel."
