BIBLIA	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Así, pues, Besalel, Oholiab y todos los hombres hábiles en quienes Yahveh había infundido habilidad y pericia para saber realizar todos los trabajos en servicio del Santuario, ejecutaron todo conforme había mandado Yahveh.	1 'Bezalel, Oholiab and al the men whom Yahweh has endowed with the skil and knowledge to knowhow to carry out al the work to be done on the sanctuary, wil do exactly as Yahweh has ordered.'
2 Llamó Moisés a Besalel y a Oholiab y a todos los hombres hábiles en cuyo corazón Yahveh había infundido habilidad, a todos los que su corazón movía a ponerse al trabajo para realizarlo.	2 Moses then summoned Bezalel, Oholiab and al the skil ed men whose hearts Yahweh had endowedwith skil , al whose heart stirred them to come forward and do the work.
3 Recibieron de Moisés todas las ofrendas que los israelitas habían reservado para la ejecución de la obra del Santuario. Entre tanto los israelitas seguían entregando a Moisés cada mañana ofrendas voluntarias.	3 From Moses they received everything that the Israelites had brought as contributions for carrying outthe work of building the sanctuary, and, as they went on bringing their offerings every morning,
4 Por eso, todos los artífices dedicados a los trabajos del Santuario dejaron cada cual su trabajo,	4 the skil ed men who were doing all the work for the sanctuary, al left their particular work
5 y fueron a hablar con Moisés, diciendo: «El pueblo entrega más de lo que se precisa para la realización de las obras que Yahveh ha mandado hacer.»	5 and said to Moses, 'The people are bringing more than is needed for the work Yahweh has ordered tobe done.'
6 Entonces Moisés mandó correr la voz por el campamento: «Ni hombre ni mujer reserve ya más ofrendas para el Santuario.» Suspendió el pueblo su aportación,	6 Moses then gave the order and proclamation was made throughout the camp, 'No one, whether manor woman, must do anything more towards contributing for the sanctuary.' So the people were prevented frombringing any more,
7 pues había material suficiente para ejecutar todos los trabajos; y aun sobraba.	7 for the material to hand was enough, and more than enough, to complete al the work.
8 Entonces los artífices más expertos de entre los que ejecutaban el trabajo hicieron la Morada. La hizo con diez tapices de lino fino torzal, de púrpura violeta y escarlata y de carmesí con querubines bordados.	8 Al the most skil ed of the men doing the work made the Dwelling. Moses made it with ten sheets offinely woven linen, dyed violet-purple, red-purple and crimson and embroidered with great winged creatures.
9 La longitud de cada tapiz era de veintiocho codos y la anchura de cuatro. Todos los tapices tenían las mismas medias.	9 The length of a single sheet was twenty-eight cubits, its width four cubits, al the sheets being of thesame size.
10 Unió cinco tapices entre sí y lo mismo los otros cinco.	10 He joined five of the sheets to one another, and the other five sheets to one another.
11 Puso lazos de púrpura violeta en el borde del tapiz con que termina el primer conjunto; los puso también en el borde del tapiz con que termina el segundo conjunto.	11 He made violet loops along the edge of the first sheet, at the end of the set, and did the same alongthe edge of the last sheet in the other set.
12 Puso cincuenta lazos en el primer tapiz y otros cincuenta en el borde del último tapiz del segundo conjunto, correspondiéndose los lazos unos a otros.	12 He made fifty loops on the first sheet and fifty loops along the outer edge of the sheet of the secondset, the loops corresponding to one another.
13 Hizo también cincuenta broches de oro, y con los broches enlazó entre sí los tapices, de modo que la Morada vino a formar un espacio único.	13 He made fifty gold clasps and joined the sheets together with the clasps. In this way the Dwel ing wasa unified whole.
14 Tejió también piezas de pelo de cabra para que, a modo de tienda, cubrieran la Morada. Tejió once de estas piezas.	14 Next he made sheets of goats' hair for the tent over the Dwel ing; he made eleven of these.
15 La longitud de cada pieza era de treinta codos y de cuatro la anchura. Las once piezas tenían las mismas medidas.	15 The length of a single sheet was thirty cubits and its width four cubits; the eleven sheets were al ofthe same size.
16 Juntó cinco piezas en una parte y seis en la otra.	16 He joined five sheets together into one set and six sheets into another.
17 Hizo cincuenta lazos en el borde de la última pieza del primer conjunto, y cincuenta lazos en el borde de la última pieza del segundo conjunto.	17 He made fifty loops along the edge of the last sheet of the first set, and fifty loops along the edge ofthe sheet of the second set.
18 Hizo cincuenta broches de bronce para unir la Tienda, formando un espacio único.	18 He made fifty bronze clasps, to draw the tent together and make it a unified whole.
19 Hizo además para la Tienda un toldo de pieles de carnero teñidas de rojo, y encima otro toldo de cueros finos.	19 And for the tent he made a cover of rams' skins dyed red, and a cover of fine leather over that.
20 Para la Morada hizo los tableros de madera de acacia y los puso de pie.	20 For the Dwelling he made vertical frames of acacia wood.
21 Cada tablero tenía diez codos de largo, y codo y medio de ancho.	21 Each frame was ten cubits long and one and a half cubits wide.
22 Tenía además dos espigas paralelas. Hizo lo mismo todos los tableros de la Morada.	22 Each frame had twin tenons; this was how he made al the frames for the Dwelling.
23 Puso los tableros para la Morada: veinte para el flanco del Négueb, hacia el sur;	23 He made frames for the Dwel ing: twenty frames for the south side, to the south,
24 hizo cuarenta basas de plata para colocarlas debajo de los veinte tableros: dos basas debajo de un tablero para sus dos espigas y dos basas debajo del otro tablero para sus dos espigas.	24 and made forty silver sockets under the twenty frames, two sockets under one frame for its twotenons, two sockets under the next frame for its two tenons;
25 Para el segundo flanco de la Morada, la parte del norte, hizo otros veinte tableros,	25 and for the other side of the Dwel ing, the north side, twenty frames
26 con sus cuarenta basas de plata; dos basas debajo de un tablero y dos basas debajo del otro tablero.	26 and forty silver sockets, two sockets under one frame, two sockets under the next frame.
27 Para la parte posterior de la Morada, hacia el occidente, hizo seis tableros;	27 For the back of the Dwel ing, on the west, he made six frames.
28 para los ángulos de la Morada en su parte posterior, dos más,	28 He also made two frames for the corners at the back of the Dwel ing;
29 que estaban unidos desde abajo hasta arriba, hasta la primera anilla. Así lo hizo con los dos tableros destinados a los dos ángulos.	29 these were coupled together at the bottom, staying so up to the top, to the level of the first ring; thishe did with the two frames forming the two corners.
30 Eran, pues, ocho tableros con sus basas de plata; dieciséis basas, dos debajo de cada tablero.	30 Thus there were eight frames with their sixteen silver sockets; two sockets under each frame.
31 Después hizo travesaños de madera de acacia: cinco travesaños para los tableros de un flanco de la Morada;	31 He made crossbars of acacia wood: five for the frames of the first side of the Dwel ing,
32 y cinco travesaños para los tableros del otro flanco de la Morada; y otros cinco para los tableros de la parte posterior de la Morada hacia el occidente.	32 five crossbars for the frames of the other side of the Dwel ing and five crossbars for the frames whichformed the back of the Dwel ing, to the west.
33 Hizo el travesaño central de tal suerte que pasase a media altura de los tableros, de un extremo al otro.	33 He made the middle bar, to join the frames from one end to the other, halfway up.
34 Revistió de oro los tableros; de oro hizo también sus anillas para pasar los travesaños, y los revistió igualmente de oro.	34 He overlaid the frames with gold, made gold rings for them, through which to place the crossbars,and overlaid the crossbars with gold.
35 Hizo el velo de púrpura violeta y escarlata, de carmesí y lino fino torzal; bordó en él unos querubines.	35 He made a curtain of finely woven linen, dyed violet-purple, red-purple and crimson and embroideredwith great winged creatures,
36 Hizo para colgarlo cuatro postes de acacia, revestidos de oro y provistos de ganchos de oro; fundió para ellos cuatro basas de plata.	36 and for it he made four poles of acacia wood, overlaying them with gold, with golden hooks for them,for which he cast four sockets of silver.
37 Hizo para la entrada de la Tienda una cortina de púrpura violeta y escarlata, de carmesí y lino fino torzal, labor de recamador, 38 con sus cinco postes y sus ganchos. Revistió de oro sus capiteles y sus varillas y fundió en bronce sus cinco basas.	37 For the entrance to the tent he made a screen of finely woven linen embroidered with violet-purple,red-purple and crimson,
	38 as also the five columns for it and their hooks; he overlaid their capitals and rods with gold, but theirfive sockets were of bronze.
