Nehemías 11

1 Los jefes del pueblo se establecieron en Jerusalén. El resto del pueblo echó a suertes para que de cada diez hombres habitase uno en Jerusalén, la Ciudad Santa, quedando los otros nueve en las ciudades.	1 And the princes of the people dwelt at Jerusalem: but the rest of the people cast lots, to take one part in ten to dwell in Jerusalem the holy city, and nine parts in the other cities.
2 Y el pueblo bendijo a todos los hombres que se ofrecieron voluntarios para habitar en Jerusalén.	2 And the people blessed all the men that willingly offered themselves to dwell in Jerusalem.
3 Estos son los jefes de la provincia que se establecieron en Jerusalén y en las ciudades de Judá; Israel, sacerdotes, levitas, donados e hijos de los siervos de Salomón, vivían en sus ciudades, cada uno en su propiedad.	3 These therefore are the chief men of the province, who dwelt in Jerusalem, and in the cities of Juda. And every one dwelt in his possession, in their cities: Israel, the priests, the Levites, the Nathinites, and the children of the servants of Solomon.
4 Habitaban en Jerusalén hijos de Judá e hijos de Benjamín. De los hijos de Judá: Ataías, hijo de Uzzías, hijo de Zacarías, hijo de Amarías, hijo de Sefatías, hijo de Mahalalel, de los hijos de Peres;	4 And in Jerusalem there dwelt some of the children of Juda, and some of the children of Benjamin: of the children of Juda, Athaias the son of Aziam, the son of Zacharias, the son of Amarias, the son of Saphatias, the son of Malaleel: of the sons of Phares,

15 De los levitas: Semaías, hijo de Jassub, hijo de Azricam, hijo de Jasabías, hijo de Bunní;	15 And of the Levites Semeia the son of Hasub, the son of Azaricam, the son of Hasabia, the son of Boni,

18 Total de los levitas en la Ciudad santa: 284.	18 All the Levites in the holy city were two hundred eighty-four.
19 Los porteros: Aqcub, Talmón y sus hermanos, que hacían la guardia de las puertas: 172.	19 And the porters, Accub, Telmon, and their brethren, who kept the doors: a hundred seventy-two.
20 El resto de los israelitas, de los sacerdotes y levitas, se estableció en todas las ciudades de Judá, cada uno en su heredad.	20 And the rest of Israel, the priests and the Levites were in all the cities of Juda, every man in his possession.
21 Los donados habitaban el Ofel; Sijá y Guispá estaban al frente de los donados.	21 And the Nathinites, that dwelt in Ophel, and Siaha, and Gaspha of the Nathinites.
22 El encargado de los levitas en Jerusalén era Uzzí, hijo de Baní, hijo de Jasabías, hijo de Mattanías, hijo de Miká; era uno de los hijos de Asaf que estaban encargados del canto según el servicio de la Casa de Dios;	22 And the overseer of the Levites in Jerusalem, was Azzi the son of Bani, the son of Hasabia, the son of Mathania, the son of Micha. 23 porque había acerca de los cantores un mandato del rey y un reglamento que fijaba los actos de cada día.	23 For the king's commandment was concerning them, and an order among the singing men day by day.
24 Petajías, hijo de Mesezabel, de los hijos de Zéraj, hijo de Judá, estaba a las órdenes del rey para todos los asuntos del pueblo,	24 And Phathahia the son of Mesezebel of the children of Zara the son of Juda was at the hand of the king, in all matters concerning the people,
25 y en los poblados situados en sus campos. Parte de los hijos de Judá habitaban en Quiryat Haarbá y sus aldeas anejas, en Dibón y sus aldeas anejas, en Jeqcabsel y sus poblados,	25 And in the houses through all their countries. Of the children of Juda so dwelt at Cariath-Arbe, and in the villages thereof: and at Dibon, and in the villages thereof: and at Cabseel, and in the villages thereof.
26 en Yesúa, en Moladá, en Bet Pélet,	26 And at Jesue, and at Molada, and Bethphaleth,
27 en Jasar Sual, en Berseba y sus aldeas anejas,	27 And at Hasersual, and at Bersabee, and in the villages thereof,
28 en Siquelag, en Mekoná y sus aldeas anejas,	28 And at Siceleg, and at Mochona, and in the villages thereof,
29 en Enrimmón, en Soreá, en Yarmut,	29 And at Remmon, and at Saraa, and at Jerimuth,
30 en Zanóaj, Adullam y sus caseríos; Lakis y su comarca, Azecá y sus aldeas anejas: se establecieron desde Berseba hasta el valle de Hinnón.	30 Zanoa, Odollam, and in their villages, at Lachis and its dependencies, and at Azeca and the villages thereof. And they dwelt from Bersabee unto the valley of Ennom.
31 Algunos hijos de Benjamín habitaban en Gueba, Midmás, Ayyá, Betel y sus aldeas anejas,	31 And the children of Benjamin, from Geba, at Mechmas, and at Hai, and at Bethel, and in the villages thereof,
32 Anatot, Nob, Ananías,	32 At Anathoth, Nob, Anania,
33 Jasor, Ramá, Guittayim,	33 Asor, Rama, Gethaim,
34 Jadid, Seboím, Neballat,	34 Hadid, Seboim, and Neballat, Led,
35 Lod y Onó, y el valle de los Artesanos.	35 And Ono the valley of craftsmen.
36 Había grupos de levitas en Judá y en Benjamín.	36 And of the Levites were portions of Juda and Benjamin.
