2 Corinthians 6

1 Working together with him, then, we entreat you not to accept the grace of God in vain.	1 Y como cooperadores suyos, os exhortamos a no echar en saco roto la gracia de Dios.
2 For he says, "At the acceptable time I have listened to you, and helped you on the day of salvation." Behold, now is the acceptable time; behold, now is the day of salvation.	2 Pues dice: «En el tiempo favorable te escuché, en el día de la salvación te ayudé». Pues mirad: ahora es el tiempo favorable, ahora es el día de la salvación.
3 We put no obstacle in any one's way, so that no fault may be found with our ministry,	3 Nunca damos a nadie motivo de escándalo, para no poner en ridículo nuestro ministerio;
4 but as servants of God we commend ourselves in every way: through great endurance, in afflictions, hardships, calamities,	4 antes bien, nos acreditamos en todo como ministros de Dios con mucha paciencia en tribulaciones, infortunios, apuros;
5 beatings, imprisonments, tumults, labors, watching, hunger;	5 en golpes, cárceles, motines, fatigas, noches sin dormir y días sin comer;
6 by purity, knowledge, forbearance, kindness, the Holy Spirit, genuine love,	6 procedemos con limpieza, ciencia, paciencia y amabilidad; con el Espíritu Santo y con amor sincero;
7 truthful speech, and the power of God; with the weapons of righteousness for the right hand and for the left;	7 con palabras verdaderas y la fuerza de Dios; con las armas de la justicia, a derecha e izquierda;
8 in honor and dishonor, in ill repute and good repute. We are treated as impostors, and yet are true;	8 a través de honra y afrenta, de mala y buena fama; como impostores que dicen la verdad,
9 as unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and behold we live; as punished, and yet not killed;	9 desconocidos, siendo conocidos de sobra, moribundos que vivimos, sentenciados nunca ajusticiados;
10 as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing everything.	10 como afligidos, pero siempre alegres, como pobres, pero que enriquecen a muchos, como necesitados, pero poseyéndolo todo.
11 Our mouth is open to you, Corinthians; our heart is wide.	11 Corintios, os hemos hablado abiertamente, nuestro corazón se ha dilatado.
12 You are not restricted by us, but you are restricted in your own affections.	12 No os habéis empequeñecido dentro de nosotros, sino dentro de vosotros mismos.
13 In return--I speak as to children--widen your hearts also.	13 Os hablo como a hijos: correspondednos con la misma paga y dilataos también vosotros.
14 Do not be mismated with unbelievers. For what partnership have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?	14 No os unzáis en yugo desigual con los infieles: ¿qué tienen en común la justicia y la maldad?, ¿qué relación hay entre la luz y las tinieblas?,
15 What accord has Christ with Belial? Or what has a believer in common with an unbeliever?	15 ¿qué concordia puede haber entre Cristo y Beliar?, ¿qué pueden compartir el fiel y el infiel?,
16 What agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God; as God said, "I will live in them and move among them, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.	16 ¿qué acuerdo puede haber entre el templo de Dios y los ídolos? Pues nosotros somos templo del Dios vivo; así lo dijo él: Habitaré entre ellos y caminaré con ellos; seré su Dios y ellos serán mi pueblo.
17 Therefore come out from them, and be separate from them, says the Lord, and touch nothing unclean; then I will welcome you,	17 Por eso, salid de en medio de ellos y apartaos, dice el Señor. No toquéis lo impuro, y yo os acogeré.
18 and I will be a father to you, and you shall be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty."	18 Y seré para vosotros un padre, y vosotros seréis para mí hijos e hijas, dice el Señor omnipotente.
