¹ To the choirmaster: according to Do Not Destroy. A Miktam of David. Do you indeed decree what is right, you gods? Do you judge the sons of men uprightly?	¹ Провідникові хору. На мелодію «Не руйнуй!» Давида. Міхтам.
² Nay, in your hearts you devise wrongs; your hands deal out violence on earth.	² Чи ви по правді творите суд, вельможі? Чи справедливо судите, о сини людські?
³ The wicked go astray from the womb, they err from their birth, speaking lies.	³ Таж ви у серці творите несправедливість, ви на землі напоготовлюєте насильства рук ваших.
⁴ They have venom like the venom of a serpent, like the deaf adder that stops its ear,	⁴ Збилися з дороги нечестиві вже від материнського лона, від утроби неньки пішли неправдомовні манівцями.
⁵ so that it does not hear the voice of charmers or of the cunning enchanter.	⁵ Отрута у них, немов отрута змія, неначе гаспида глухого, що затуляє вуха,
⁶ O God, break the teeth in their mouths; tear out the fangs of the young lions, O LORD!	⁶ щоб голосу не чути заклиначів, чарівника — знавця чарів.
⁷ Let them vanish like water that runs away; like grass let them be trodden down and wither.	⁷ Розторощи, о Боже, їхні зуби у них у пельці; ікли левенят, Господи, вирви.
⁸ Let them be like the snail which dissolves into slime, like the untimely birth that never sees the sun.	⁸ Хай щезнуть, мов вода розлита; як пускають стріли, хай тупими стануть.
⁹ Sooner than your pots can feel the heat of thorns, whether green or ablaze, may he sweep them away!	⁹ Хай зникнуть, мов слимак, що зслизає; як викидень жінки, що не бачив сонця.
¹⁰ The righteous will rejoice when he sees the vengeance; he will bathe his feet in the blood of the wicked.	¹⁰ Раніш ніж забуяють, як ті будяки і глоди, хай їх — зелених чи сухих — розмете буря.
¹¹ Men will say, "Surely there is a reward for the righteous; surely there is a God who judges on earth."	¹¹ Зрадіє праведник, коли побачить відплату, скупає свої що на землі судить».
	¹² І скажуть люди: «Справді для праведника є нагорода, справді є Бог, що на землі судить».
