1 A Canticle of David himself, when the house was built after the captivity. Sing to the Lord a new song. Sing to the Lord, all the earth.	1 Cantico dello stesso Davidde. Cantate al Signore un nuovo cantico: terra tutta canta il Signore.
2 Sing to the Lord and bless his name. Announce his salvation from day to day.	2 Cantate il Signore, e benedite il nome di lui, annunziate ogni giorno la salute recata da lui.
3 Announce his glory among the Gentiles, his miracles among all peoples.	3 Annunziate la gloria di lui tralle genti, e le sue meraviglie a tutti i popoli.
4 For the Lord is great and greatly to be praised. He is terrible, beyond all gods.	4 Imperocché il Signore è grande, grandemente laudabile: egli è terribile sopra tutti gli dei:
5 For all the gods of the Gentiles are demons, but the Lord made the heavens.	5 Imperocché tutti gli dei delle genti sono demonj: ma il Signore ha creati i cielo.
6 Confession and beauty are in his sight. Sanctity and magnificence are in his sanctuary.	6 La gloria, e lo splendore sono intorno a lui: la santità, e la magnificenza nel suo santuario.
7 Bring to the Lord, you natives of the nations, bring to the Lord glory and honor.	7 Presentate al Signore, voi famiglie delle nazioni, presentate al Signore gloria, ed onore: presentate al Signore gloria qual conviensi al suo nome.
8 Bring to the Lord glory for his name. Lift up sacrifices, and enter into his courts.	8 Prendete le ostie, ed entrate nell'atrio di lui: adorate il Signore nel santo atrio di lui.
9 Adore the Lord in his holy court. Let the entire earth be shaken before his face.	9 Dinanzi a lui stia in timore, e tremore tutta quanta la terra: dite tralle nazioni: Il Signore ha preso possesso del regno.
10 Say among the Gentiles: The Lord has reigned. For he has even corrected the whole world, which will not be shaken. He will judge the peoples with fairness.	10 Imperocché egli ha emendata la terra, la quale non sarà smossa: egli giudicherà i popoli con equità.
11 Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth exult; let the sea and all its fullness be moved.	11 Rallegrimi i cieli, ed esulti la terra: il mare sia in movimento con tutte le cose ond'egli è ripieno: tripudieranno le campagne, e tutto quello, che in esse si trova.
12 The fields and all the things that are in them will be glad. Then all the trees of the forest will rejoice	12 Allora esulteranno tutti gli alberi delle selve dinanzi al Signore, perché è venuto, perché venuto egli è a governare la terra.
13 before the face of the Lord: for he arrives. For he arrives to judge the earth. He will judge the whole world with fairness and the peoples with his truth.	13 Governerà la terra con equità; governerà i popoli secondo la sua verità.
