Psalms 95

CATHOLIC PUBLIC DOMAIN	EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS
1 A Canticle of David himself, when the house was built after the captivity. Sing to the Lord a new song. Sing to the Lord, all the earth.	1 ¡Vengan, cantemos con júbilo al Señor, aclamemos a la Roca que nos salva!
2 Sing to the Lord and bless his name. Announce his salvation from day to day.	2 ¡Lleguemos hasta él dándole gracias, aclamemos con música al Señor!
3 Announce his glory among the Gentiles, his miracles among all peoples.	3 Porque el Señor es un Dios grande, el soberano de todos los dioses:
4 For the Lord is great and greatly to be praised. He is terrible, beyond all gods.	4 en su mano están los abismos de la tierra, y son suyas las cumbres de las montañas;
5 For all the gods of the Gentiles are demons, but the Lord made the heavens.	5 suyo es el mar, porque él lo hizo, y la tierra firme, que formaron sus manos.
6 Confession and beauty are in his sight. Sanctity and magnificence are in his sanctuary.	6 ¡Entren, inclinémonos para adorarlo! ¡Doblemos la rodilla ante el Señor que nos creó!
7 Bring to the Lord, you natives of the nations, bring to the Lord glory and honor.	7 Porque él es nuestro Dios, y nosotros, el pueblo que él apacienta, las ovejas conducidas por su mano. Ojalá hoy escuchen la voz del Señor:
8 Bring to the Lord glory for his name. Lift up sacrifices, and enter into his courts.	8 «No endurezcan su corazón como en Meribá, como en el día de Masá, en el desierto,
9 Adore the Lord in his holy court. Let the entire earth be shaken before his face.	9 cuando sus padres me tentaron y provocaron, aunque habían visto mis obras.
10 Say among the Gentiles: The Lord has reigned. For he has even corrected the whole world, which will not be shaken. He will judge the peoples with fairness.	10 Cuarenta años me disgustó esa generación, hasta que dije: «Es un pueblo de corazón extraviado, que no conoce mis caminos».
11 Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth exult; let the sea and all its fullness be moved.	11 Por eso juré en mi indignación: «Jamás entrarán en mi Reposo».
12 The fields and all the things that are in them will be glad. Then all the trees of the forest will rejoice
13 before the face of the Lord: for he arrives. For he arrives to judge the earth. He will judge the whole world with fairness and the peoples with his truth.
