Revelation 19

1 After this I heard what seemed to be the great sound of a huge crowd in heaven, singing, 'Al eluia!Salvation and glory and power to our God!	1 Depois disto, ouvi no céu como a forte voz de uma grande multidão, que dizia: "Aleluia! Salvação, glória e poder ao nosso Deus,
2 He judges fairly, he punishes justly, and he has condemned the great prostitute who corrupted theearth with her prostitution; he has avenged the blood of his servants which she shed.'	2 porque verdadeiros e justos são os seus juízos, porque julgou a grande Meretriz, que corrompia a terra com a sua prostituição, e reclamou da mão dela o sangue de seus servos."
3 And again they sang, 'Alleluia! The smoke of her wil rise for ever and ever.'	3 E outra vez disseram; "Aleluia! O fumo dela sobe pelos séculos dos séculos."
4 Then the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures threw themselves down and worshipped Godseated on his throne, and they cried, 'Amen, Alleluia.'	4 Então os vinte e quatro anciães e os quatro animais prostraram-se e adoraram a Deus, que estava sentado sobre o trono, dizendo; "Amen! Aleluia!"
5 Then a voice came from the throne; it said, 'Praise our God, you servants of his and those who fearhim, smal and great alike.'	5 E saiu do trono uma voz, que dizia: "Dai louvor ao nosso Deus, vós todos os seus servos e quantos o temeis, pequenos e grandes."
6 And I heard what seemed to be the voices of a huge crowd, like the sound of the ocean or the greatroar of thunder, answering, 'Alleluia! The reign of the Lord our God Almighty has begun;	6 Depois ouvi uma espécie de voz de grande multidão, voz como ruído de muitas águas e como o estampido de grandes trovões, a dizer: "Aleluia! porque tomou posse do seu reino o Senhor nosso Deus, o Omnipotente.
7 let us be glad and joyful and give glory to God, because this is the time for the marriage of the Lamb.	7 Alegremo-nos, exultemos, dêmos-lhe glória, porque chegaram as bodas do Cordeiro, e (a Igreja ) sua esposa está ataviada.
8 His bride is ready, and she has been able to dress herself in dazzling white linen, because her linen ismade of the good deeds of the saints.'	8 E foi-lhe dado o vestir-se de linho fino, resplandecente e puro." Este linho fino são os actos de justiça dos santos.
9 The angel said, 'Write this, "Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding feast of the Lamb," ' andhe added, 'These words of God are true.'	9 E (o anjo) disse-me; "Escreve: Bem-aventura-dos os que foram chamados ao festim das bodas do Cordeiro!" E ajuntou: "Estas palavras de Deus são verdadeiras."
10 Then I knelt at his feet to worship him, but he said to me, 'Never do that: I am your fellow-servant andthe fellow-servant of al your brothers who have in themselves the witness of Jesus. God alone you mustworship.' The witness of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.	10 Então caí a seus pés para me prostrar diante dele, mas ele disse-me: "Vê, não faças tal; eu sou servo como tu e como teus irmãos, que têm o testemunho de Jesus. Adora a Deus." Com efeito, o testemunho de Jesus é o espírito da profecia.
11 And now I saw heaven open, and a white horse appear; its rider was cal ed Trustworthy and True; inuprightness he judges and makes war.	11 Depois vi o céu aberto, e apareceu um cavalo branco. O que estava montado sobre ele, chama-se Fiel e Verdadeiro, (Jesus Cristo) que julga com justiça e combate.
12 His eyes were flames of fire, and he was crowned with many coronets; the name written on him wasknown only to himself,	12 Os seus olhos são como uma chama de fogo; tem sobre a cabeça muitos diademas; traz um nome escrito, que ninguém conhece senão ele mesmo,
13 his cloak was soaked in blood. He is known by the name, The Word of God.	13 e veste uma roupa tingida de sangue: o seu nome é Verbo de Deus.
14 Behind him, dressed in linen of dazzling white, rode the armies of heaven on white horses.	14 Seguem-no os exércitos que estão no céu, em cavalos brancos, vestidos de linho fino, branco e puro.
15 From his mouth came a sharp sword with which to strike the unbelievers; he is the one who wil rulethem with an iron sceptre, and tread out the wine of Almighty God's fierce retribution.	15 Da sua boca sai uma espada afiada, para ferir com ela as nações; ele as apascentará com vara de ferro; ele mesmo pisa o lagar do vinho do furor da ira de Deus omnipotente.
16 On his cloak and on his thigh a name was written: King of kings and Lord of lords.	16 No seu manto e na sua coxa, está escrito este nome: "Rei dos reis, e Senhor dos senhores."
17 I saw an angel standing in the sun, and he shouted aloud to al the birds that were flying highoverhead in the sky, 'Come here. Gather together at God's great feast.	17 E vi um anjo, que estava de pé no sol, clamar com voz forte a todas as aves que voam para o zénite: "Vinde, juntai-vos para o grande festim de Deus,
18 You wil eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of great generals and heroes, the flesh of horses andtheir riders and of al kinds of people, citizens and slaves, smal and great alike.'	18 a fim de comerdes carne de reis, carne de quiliarcos, carne de poderosos, carne de cavalos e dos que neles montam, carne de todos, livres e escravos, pequenos e grandes!"
19 Then I saw the beast, with al the kings of the earth and their armies, gathered together to fight theRider and his army.	19 E vi a Besta, os reis da terra e os seus exércitos reunidos para fazerem guerra àquele que estava montado sobre o cavalo e ao seu exército.
20 But the beast was taken prisoner, together with the false prophet who had worked miracles on thebeast's behalf and by them had deceived those who had accepted branding with the mark of the beast and thosewho had worshipped his statue. These two were hurled alive into the fiery lake of burning sulphur.	20 A Besta foi presa, e com ela o falso profeta, que tinha feito prodígios na sua presença, com os quais tinha seduzido os que haviam recebido o carácter da Besta e os que se prostravam diante da sua estátua. Foram ambos lançados vivos no tanque de fogo a arder com enxofre.
21 Al the rest were kil ed by the sword of the Rider, which came out of his mouth, and al the birdsglutted themselves with their flesh.	21 Os outros foram mortos pela espada do que estava montado sobre o cavalo, espada que saía da sua boca, e todas as aves se fartaram das suas carnes.
