Revelation 19

1 After this I heard what seemed to be the great sound of a huge crowd in heaven, singing, 'Al eluia!Salvation and glory and power to our God!	1 Dopo di ciò sentii nel cielo come la voce di popoli affollati che dicevano: Alleluia! Salute e gloria e potenza al nostro Dio;
2 He judges fairly, he punishes justly, and he has condemned the great prostitute who corrupted theearth with her prostitution; he has avenged the blood of his servants which she shed.'	2 perche veri o giusti sono i suoi giudizi, ed ha giudicata la gran meretrice che corruppe la terra colla sua prostituzione, e ha fatto vendetta del sangue dei suoi servi (sparso) dalle di lei mani.
3 And again they sang, 'Alleluia! The smoke of her wil rise for ever and ever.'	3 E dis­sero per la seconda volta: Alle­luia! Il suo fumo sale pei secoli dei secoli.
4 Then the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures threw themselves down and worshipped Godseated on his throne, and they cried, 'Amen, Alleluia.'	4 E i ventiquattro ve­gliardi si prostrarono, cosi pure i quattro animali, e adorarono Dio assiso sul trono e dicevano: Amen! Alleluia.
5 Then a voice came from the throne; it said, 'Praise our God, you servants of his and those who fearhim, smal and great alike.'	5 E dal trono uscì una voce che disse: Date lode al nostro Dio voi tutti suoi servi, e voi che lo temete, piccolie grandi.
6 And I heard what seemed to be the voices of a huge crowd, like the sound of the ocean or the greatroar of thunder, answering, 'Alleluia! The reign of the Lord our God Almighty has begun;	6 E sentii una voce si­mile a quella di gran moltitudine, simile al rumore di molte acque, al rombo di tuoni potenti, e di­ceva: Alleluia! Il Signore Dio no­stro Onnipotente ha preso pos­sesso del suo regno.
7 let us be glad and joyful and give glory to God, because this is the time for the marriage of the Lamb.	7 Rallegriamoci, esultiamo, diamogli gloria, perchè è giunta l'ora delle nozze dell'Agnello; e la sua sposa s'è già preparata,
8 His bride is ready, and she has been able to dress herself in dazzling white linen, because her linen ismade of the good deeds of the saints.'	8 e l'è stato dato di vestirsi di bisso rilucente e candido. Questo bisso sono le opere virtuose dei santi.
9 The angel said, 'Write this, "Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding feast of the Lamb," ' andhe added, 'These words of God are true.'	9 (l'Angelo) mi disse: Scrivi: Beati coloro che sono stati chiamati al banchetto nuziale dell'Agnello. Ed aggiunse: Queste parole di Dio sono vere.
10 Then I knelt at his feet to worship him, but he said to me, 'Never do that: I am your fellow-servant andthe fellow-servant of al your brothers who have in themselves the witness of Jesus. God alone you mustworship.' The witness of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.	10 E mi prostrai ai suoi piedi per adorarlo. Ma egli mi disse: Guardati dal farlo: io sono servo come te e i tuoi fratelli che rendono testimonianza a Gesù. Adora Dio, perchè lo spirito di profezia è la testimonianza di Gesù.
11 And now I saw heaven open, and a white horse appear; its rider was cal ed Trustworthy and True; inuprightness he judges and makes war.	11 Poi vidi il cielo aperto ed ecco un cavallo bianco, e chi vi stava sopra si chiamava il Fedele, il Verace, e giudica e combatte con giustizia.
12 His eyes were flames of fire, and he was crowned with many coronets; the name written on him wasknown only to himself,	12 Gli occhi suoi come fiamma di fuoco; sul suo capo molti diademi, e portava scritto un. nome noto a lui solo.
13 his cloak was soaked in blood. He is known by the name, The Word of God.	13 E indossava una veste tinta di sangue, e il suo nome è il Verbo di Dio.
14 Behind him, dressed in linen of dazzling white, rode the armies of heaven on white horses.	14 E gli eserciti celesti lo seguivano sopra cavalli bianchi, vestiti di bisso candido e puro.
15 From his mouth came a sharp sword with which to strike the unbelievers; he is the one who wil rulethem with an iron sceptre, and tread out the wine of Almighty God's fierce retribution.	15 Dalla bocca gli usciva una spada a due tagli, per ferire le nazioni, che egli governerà con verga di ferro: è lui che calca lo strettoio del vino di furore dell'ira di Dio Onnipotente.
16 On his cloak and on his thigh a name was written: King of kings and Lord of lords.	16 Sulla veste e sul fianco porta scritto: Re dei re e Signore dei signori.
17 I saw an angel standing in the sun, and he shouted aloud to al the birds that were flying highoverhead in the sky, 'Come here. Gather together at God's great feast.	17 Poì vidi un Angelo ritto sul sole, ed egli gridò con gran voce a tutti, gli uccelli dell'aria che voavano pei cieli: Venite e radunatevi pel gran banchetto di Dio,
18 You wil eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of great generals and heroes, the flesh of horses andtheir riders and of al kinds of people, citizens and slaves, smal and great alike.'	18 per divorare le carni dei re, le carni dei tribuni, le carni dei poenti, le carni dei cavalli e dei cavalieri, le carni di ogni sorta di uomini, liberi e servi, piccoli e agrandi.
19 Then I saw the beast, with al the kings of the earth and their armies, gathered together to fight theRider and his army.	19 E vidi la bestia e i re della terra e i loro eserciti radunati per dar battaglia a colui che bstava sul cavallo e al suo esercivto.
20 But the beast was taken prisoner, together with the false prophet who had worked miracles on thebeast's behalf and by them had deceived those who had accepted branding with the mark of the beast and thosewho had worshipped his statue. These two were hurled alive into the fiery lake of burning sulphur.	20 E la bestia fu presa, e con lei il falso profeta che davanti ad essa aveva fatto prodigi, coi quali aveva sedotti coloro che avevan ricevuta l'impronta della bestia e ne avevano adorato l'imagine. Tutti e due furon messi vivi in uno stagno di fuoco fiammante per lo zolfo.
21 Al the rest were kil ed by the sword of the Rider, which came out of his mouth, and al the birdsglutted themselves with their flesh.	21 Gli altri poi furon uccisi dalla spada che usciva dalla bocca di colui che stava sul cavallo; e tutti gli uccelli si saziarono delle loro carni.
