Revelation 15

NEW JERUSALEM	BIBBIA RICCIOTTI
1 And I saw in heaven another sign, great and wonderful: seven angels were bringing the seven plaguesthat are the last of al , because they exhaust the anger of God.	1 - E vidi un altro grande e maraviglioso portento nel cielo, sette angeli provvisti di sette piaghe: le ultime, poichè con esse fu compiuto il furor di Dio.
2 I seemed to be looking at a sea of crystal suffused with fire, and standing by the lake of glass, thosewho had fought against the beast and won, and against his statue and the number which is his name. They alhad harps from God,	2 E vidi come un mare di vetro misto a fuoco, e i vincitori della bestia e della sua effigie e del numero del suo nome stare sul mare di vetro, con [in mano] cetre divine.
3 and they were singing the hymn of Moses, the servant of God, and the hymn of the Lamb: How greatand wonderful are al your works, Lord God Almighty; upright and true are al your ways, King of nations.	3 E cantavano il cantico di Mosè, servo di Dio, e il cantico dell'agnello, dicendo: «Grandi e maravigliose le opere tue, Signor Iddio onnipotente; giuste e vere le tue vie, o re de' secoli.
4 Who does not revere and glorify your name, O Lord? For you alone are holy, and al nations will comeand adore you for the many acts of saving justice you have shown.	4 Chi non ti temerà, o Signore, e non glorificherà il tuo nome? Perchè tu solo sei pio; tutte le genti verranno e si prostreranno al tuo cospetto, perchè la giustizia tua si fece manifesta».
5 After this, in my vision, the sanctuary, the tent of the Testimony, opened in heaven,	5 Dopo ciò vidi [una visione], ed ecco s'aprì il tempio del Tabernacolo della Testimonianza nel cielo,
6 and out came the seven angels with the seven plagues, wearing pure white linen, fastened round theirwaists with belts of gold.	6 e usciron dal tempio i sette angeli che avevan le sette piaghe, vestiti di lino puro e candido, e cinti attorno al petto di cinture d'oro.
7 One of the four living creatures gave the seven angels seven golden bowls filled with the anger of Godwho lives for ever and ever.	7 E uno de' quattro animali diede ai sette angeli sette coppe d'oro, piene del furore di Dio vivente ne' secoli de' secoli.
8 The smoke from the glory and the power of God fil ed the temple so that no one could go into it untilthe seven plagues of the seven angels were completed.	8 E si empì il tempio di fumo, [emanante] dalla gloria di Dio e dalla sua potenza; e nessuno poteva entrare nel tempio, sinchè non fosser compiute le sette piaghe dei sette angeli.
