1 And I saw in heaven another sign, great and wonderful: seven angels were bringing the seven plaguesthat are the last of al , because they exhaust the anger of God.	1 E vidi un altro prodigio grande, e mirabile nel cielo, sette Angeli, che portavano le sette piaghe ultime: perché con queste si sazia l'ira di Dio.
2 I seemed to be looking at a sea of crystal suffused with fire, and standing by the lake of glass, thosewho had fought against the beast and won, and against his statue and the number which is his name. They alhad harps from God,	2 E vidi come un mare di vetro misto di fuoco, e quelli, che hanno vinta la bestia, e la sua immagine, e il numero del nome di essa, stanno sul mare di vetro, tenendo cetere divine:
3 and they were singing the hymn of Moses, the servant of God, and the hymn of the Lamb: How greatand wonderful are al your works, Lord God Almighty; upright and true are al your ways, King of nations.	3 E cantavano il cantico di Mosè servo di Dio, e il cantico dell'Agnello, dicendo: grandi, e mirabili sono le opere tue, Signore Dio onnipotente: giuste, e vere sono le tue vie, o Re de' secoli.
4 Who does not revere and glorify your name, O Lord? For you alone are holy, and al nations will comeand adore you for the many acts of saving justice you have shown.	4 Chi non ti temerà, o Signore, e non glorificherà il nome tuo? imperocché tu solo se' Dio: onde le nazioni tutte verranno, e si incurveranno davanti a te, perché i giudizi tuoi sono renduti manifesti.
5 After this, in my vision, the sanctuary, the tent of the Testimony, opened in heaven,	5 Dopo di ciò mirai, ed ecco si apri il tempio del tabernacolo del testimonio del cielo:
6 and out came the seven angels with the seven plagues, wearing pure white linen, fastened round theirwaists with belts of gold.	6 E usciron dal tempio i sette Angeli, che portavano le sette piaghe, vestiti di lino puro, e candido, e cinti intorno al petto con fascie d'oro.
7 One of the four living creatures gave the seven angels seven golden bowls filled with the anger of Godwho lives for ever and ever.	7 E uno de' quattro animali diede a' sette Angeli sette calici d'oro, pieni dell' ira di Dio vivente ne' secoli de' secoli.
8 The smoke from the glory and the power of God fil ed the temple so that no one could go into it untilthe seven plagues of the seven angels were completed.	8 E il tempio s' empi di fumo per la maestà di Dio, e per la virtù di esso: né poteva alcuno entrare nel tempio, sino che compiate non fossero le sette piaghe de' sette Angeli.
