NEW JERUSALEM	BIBLIA
1 The portion of the sons of Joseph started on the east at the Jordan opposite Jericho (the Waters ofJericho) through the desert rising from Jericho into the highlands of Bethel;	1 La suerte que tocó a los hijos de José comenzaba, por el lado oriental, en el Jordán, a la altura de Jericó (las aguas de Jericó), en el desierto que sube de Jericó a la montaña de Betel;
2 from Bethel it went to Luz, and on towards the frontier of the Archites at Ataroth;	2 siguiendo de Betel a Luz, pasaba hacia la frontera de los arquitas por Atarot;
3 then passed downwards and westwards to the frontier of the Japhletites as far as the border of LowerBeth-Horon and on to Gezer, and reached as far as the sea.	3 bajaba después al oeste hacia la frontera de los yafletitas, hasta Guézer, y venía a salir al mar.
4 Such was the heritage of the sons of Joseph, Manasseh and Ephraim.	4 Esta fue la heredad de los hijos de José, Manasés y Efraím.
5 As regards the territory of the sons of Ephraim, by clans, the frontier of their heritage ran from Ataroth-Arach to Upper Beth-Horon;	5 Límite de los hijos de Efraím por clanes: el límite de su heredad era por el este Atrot Arak hasta Bet Jorón de Arriba
6 the frontier then reached as far as the sea . . . the Michmethath in the north, and the frontier turnedeast to Tanaath-Shiloh which it crossed in an easterly direction to Janoah;	6 e iba e salir el límite al mar... el Mikmetat al norte, y el límite doblaba al oriente hacia Taanat Silo, y la cruzaba al este hacia Yanojá;
7 it ran down to Ataroth and Naarah, touched Jericho and ended at the Jordan.	7 bajaba de Yanojá a Atarot y a Naará y tocaba en Jericó para terminar en el Jordán.
8 From Tappuah, the frontier ran westwards to the Torrent of Kanah and reached as far as the sea. Suchwas the heritage of the tribe of the sons of Ephraim, by clans,	8 De Tappuaj iba el límite hacia occidente por el torrente de Caná y venía a parar en el mar. Esta fue la heredad de la tribu de los hijos de Efraím según sus clanes,
9 apart from the towns reserved for the sons of Ephraim inside the heritage of the sons of Manasseh, althese towns and their villages.	9 además de las ciudades reservadas para los hijos de Efraím de la herencia de los hijos de Manasés; todas estas ciudades y sus aldeas.
10 The Canaanites living in Gezer were not driven out; they have remained in Ephraim to the presentday but are obliged to do forced labour.	10 El cananeo que ocupaba Guézer no fue expulsado y así continúa en medio de Efraím hasta el día de hoy, pero sujeto a servidumbre.
