Galatians 6

NEW JERUSALEM	LA SACRA BIBBIA
1 Brothers, even if one of you is caught doing something wrong, those of you who are spiritual should setthat person right in a spirit of gentleness; and watch yourselves that you are not put to the test in the same way.	1 Fratelli, anche quando uno sia sorpreso a commettere una colpa, voi, che siete guidati dallo Spirito, correggete costui con spirito di mitezza; e tu abbi cura di te stesso, perché non abbia a soccombere tu pure nella tentazione.
2 Carry each other's burdens; that is how to keep the law of Christ.	2 Portate vicendevolmente i vostri pesi, così compirete la legge di Cristo.
3 Someone who thinks himself important, when he is not, only deceives himself;	3 Infatti se uno pensa di essere qualcosa mentre non è nulla, inganna se stesso.
4 but everyone is to examine his own achievements, and then he wil confine his boasting to his ownachievements, not comparing them with anybody else's.	4 Ciascuno esamini invece il suo operato, e allora troverà in se stesso motivo di vanto e non nell'altro.
5 Each one has his own load to carry.	5 Ciascuno infatti dovrà portare il proprio fardello.
6 When someone is under instruction in doctrine, he should give his teacher a share in al hispossessions.	6 Colui che viene istruito nella parola partecipi i suoi beni a quello che lo istruisce.
7 Don't delude yourself: God is not to be fooled; whatever someone sows, that is what he wil reap.	7 Non v'ingannate: Dio non permette che ci si prenda gioco di lui; l'uomo mieterà ciò che avrà seminato:
8 If his sowing is in the field of self-indulgence, then his harvest from it wil be corruption; if his sowing is inthe Spirit, then his harvest from the Spirit wil be eternal life.	8 chi semina seguendo la carne, dalla carne mieterà rovina; chi invece semina seguendo lo Spirito, dallo Spirito mieterà la vita eterna.
9 And let us never slacken in doing good; for if we do not give up, we shal have our harvest in due time.	9 Facendo il bene non lasciamoci prendere da noia o stanchezza: a tempo debito mieteremo, se non allenteremo il nostro impegno.
10 So then, as long as we have the opportunity let al our actions be for the good of everybody, andespecial y of those who belong to the household of the faith.	10 Perciò, finché ne abbiamo l'occasione propizia, pratichiamo il bene verso tutti, ma soprattutto verso coloro che appartengono alla nostra stessa famiglia della fede.
11 Notice what large letters I have used in writing to you with my own hand.	11 Notate con che grossi caratteri vi scrivo di mia mano.
12 It is those who want to cut a figure by human standards who force circumcision on you, simply so thatthey will not be persecuted for the cross of Christ.	12 Quanti vogliono far bella figura seguendo la carne cercano di costringervi a farvi circoncidere, solo per non essere perseguitati a causa della croce di Cristo.
13 Even though they are circumcised they stil do not keep the Law themselves; they want you to becircumcised only so that they can boast of your outward appearance.	13 Infatti nemmeno coloro che si fanno circoncidere osservano personalmente la legge, ma vogliono che voi vi circoncidiate al solo scopo di avere un vanto sulla vostra debolezza.
14 But as for me, it is out of the question that I should boast at al , except of the cross of our Lord JesusChrist, through whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.	14 A me non avvenga mai di menar vanto se non nella croce del nostro Signore Gesù Cristo, per mezzo del quale il mondo è stato crocifisso per me e io per il mondo.
15 It is not being circumcised or uncircumcised that matters; but what matters is a new creation.	15 Infatti né la circoncisione né la mancanza di essa sono alcunché, ma la nuova creazione.
16 Peace and mercy to al who fol ow this as their rule and to the Israel of God.	16 E quanti seguiranno questa regola, pace e misericordia su di loro e sull'Israele di Dio.
17 After this, let no one trouble me; I carry branded on my body the marks of Jesus.	17 Del resto nessuno mi infastidisca: io infatti porto nel mio corpo i contrassegni di Cristo.
18 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, my brothers. Amen.	18 La grazia del nostro Signore Gesù Cristo sia col vostro spirito, fratelli! Amen.
