Zechariah 1

NEW JERUSALEM	KÁLDI-NEOVULGÁTA
1 In the second year of Darius, in the eighth month, the word of Yahweh was addressed to the prophetZechariah (son of Berechiah), son of Iddo, as fol ows,	1 A nyolcadik hónapban, Dáriusz király második esztendejében az Úr a következő szózatot intézte Zakariás prófétához, Barakjának, Addó fiának fiához:
2 'Yahweh was deeply angry with your ancestors.	2 »Az Úr nagyon megharagudott atyáitokra.
3 So say this to them, "Yahweh Sabaoth says this: Return to me -- Yahweh Sabaoth declares -- and I willreturn to you, says Yahweh Sabaoth.	3 Mondd azért nekik: Így szól a Seregek Ura: Térjetek vissza hozzám – mondja a Seregek Ura –, és én visszatérek hozzátok – mondja a Seregek Ura. –
4 Do not be like your ancestors when the prophets in the past cried to them: Yahweh Sabaoth says this:Turn back from your evil ways and evil deeds -- they would not listen or pay attention to me -- Yahweh declares.	4 Ne legyetek olyanok, mint atyáitok, akikhez a régi próféták így kiáltottak: Így szól a Seregek Ura: Térjetek meg rossz útjaitokról és igen gonosz szándékaitoktól; de azok nem hallgattak meg engem és nem figyeltek rám, – mondja az Úr. –
5 Where are your ancestors now? And the prophets, do they live for ever?	5 Atyáitok hol vannak immár? És a próféták vajon örökké élnek-e?
6 But did not my words and statutes, with which I had charged my servants the prophets, overtake yourancestors just the same?" ' So they repented and said, 'Yahweh Sabaoth has treated us as he resolved to do,and as our ways and deeds deserved.'	6 De az én szavaim és végzéseim, amelyeket szolgáimra, a prófétákra bíztam, nemde elérték atyáitokat? Azután megtértek és így szóltak: ‘Amint eltökélte a Seregek Ura, hogy útjaink és tetteink szerint cselekszik velünk, úgy is cselekedett.’«
7 On the twenty-fourth day of the eleventh month (the month of Shebat), in the second year of Darius, theword of Yahweh was addressed to the prophet Zechariah (son of Berechiah), son of Iddo, as fol ows,	7 A tizenegyedik hónapnak, Sabatnak huszonnegyedik napján, Dáriusz második esztendejében az Úr a következő szózatot intézte Zakariás prófétához, Barakjának, Addó fiának fiához:
8 'I had a vision during the night. There was a man riding a red horse standing among the deep-rootedmyrtles; behind him were other horses-red, chestnut and white.	8 »Éjszaka látomásom volt: Íme, egy vörös lovon ülő férfi állt a völgy mirtuszfái között, mögötte pedig vörös, tarka és fehér lovak voltak.
9 I said, "What are these, my lord?" And the angel who was talking to me said, "I will show you what they are."	9 Mikor megkérdeztem: ‘Mik ezek, Uram?’, ezt mondta nekem egy angyal, aki velem beszélt: ‘Én majd megmutatom neked, hogy mik ezek.’
10 The man standing among the myrtles then replied, "Those are they whom Yahweh has sent to patrolthe world."	10 Ekkor megszólalt a mirtuszfák közt álló férfi és mondta: ‘Ezek azok, akiket elküldött az Úr, hogy bejárják a földet.’
11 They reported to the angel of Yahweh as he stood among the myrtles, "We have been patrol ing theworld, and indeed the whole world is stil and at peace."	11 Aztán szóltak az Úr angyalának, aki a mirtuszfák között állt, és azt mondták: ‘Bejártuk a földet, és íme, az egész föld békességben lakik.’
12 The angel of Yahweh then spoke and said, "Yahweh Sabaoth, how long wil you wait before taking pityon Jerusalem and the cities of Judah, on which you have inflicted your anger for the past seventy years?"	12 Szólt ekkor az Úr angyala és mondta: ‘Seregek Ura, meddig nem könyörülsz még meg Jeruzsálem és Júda városain, amelyekre immár hetven esztendeje haragszol?’
13 Yahweh then replied with kind and comforting words to the angel who was talking to me.	13 Erre az Úr jóságos szavakat, vigasztaló szavakat mondott annak az angyalnak, aki bennem beszélt.
14 The angel who was talking to me then said to me, "Make this proclamation: Yahweh Sabaoth saysthis: I am burning with jealousy for Jerusalem and Zion	14 S az angyal, aki bennem beszélt, így szólt hozzám: ‘Kiáltsd és mondd: Így szól a Seregek Ura: Féltékeny szeretettel szeretem Jeruzsálemet és Siont,
15 but am deeply angry with the nations now at ease; before, I was only mildly angry, but they contributedto the disaster.	15 és nagy haraggal haragszom azokra a hatalmas nemzetekre, amelyek, mikor én egy kissé haragudtam, túlságosan megnövelték a bajt.
16 So now Yahweh says this: In compassion I have returned to Jerusalem; my Temple will be rebuiltthere -- Yahweh Sabaoth declares -- and the measuring line wil be stretched over Jerusalem.	16 Ezért így szól az Úr: Ismét irgalmassággal fordulok Jeruzsálemhez: benne épüljön fel az én házam – mondja a Seregek Ura –, és mérőzsinór feszüljön Jeruzsálem felett.
17 Make this proclamation too: Yahweh Sabaoth says this: My cities are once more to be veryprosperous. Yahweh will comfort Zion once again, and again make Jerusalem his choice." '	17 Kiáltsd és mondd továbbá: Így szól a Seregek Ura: Városaim még bővelkednek majd a jókban, s az Úr még megvigasztalja Siont, és ismét választottjává teszi Jeruzsálemet!’
