Micah 4

NEW JERUSALEM	SAGRADA BIBLIA
1 But in days to come Yahweh's Temple Mountain will tower above the mountains, rise higher than thehil s.	1 Acontecerá, no fim dos tempos, que a montanha da casa do Senhor será estabelecida no ápice das montanhas, e será mais elevada que todos os outeiros. Os povos afluirão para ela,
2 Then the peoples wil stream to it, then many nations wil come and say, 'Come, we will go up toYahweh's mountain, to the Temple of the God of Jacob, so that he may teach us his ways and we may walk inhis paths; for the Law issues from Zion and Yahweh's word from Jerusalem.'	2 numerosas nações ali virão, dizendo: Vinde, subamos à montanha do Senhor, à casa do Deus de Jacó. Ele nos ensinará os seus caminhos, e andaremos por suas veredas. Porque de Sião sairá a doutrina, e de Jerusalém a palavra do Senhor.
3 He wil judge between many peoples and arbitrate between mighty nations. They wil hammer theirswords into ploughshares and their spears into bil -hooks. Nation will not lift sword against nation or ever againbe trained to make war.	3 Ele será árbitro de numerosas nações e juiz de povos longínquos e poderosos. De suas espadas forjarão arados, e de suas lanças, foices; uma nação não levantará mais a espada contra outra, e não se exercitará mais para a guerra.
4 But each man wil sit under his vine and fig tree with no one to trouble him. The mouth of YahwehSabaoth has spoken.	4 Mas cada um habitará debaixo de sua vinha e debaixo de sua figueira, sem que ninguém o moleste; porque assim o prometeu, por sua boca, o Senhor dos exércitos.
5 For all peoples go forward, each in the name of its god, while we go forward in the name of Yahweh ourGod for ever and ever.	5 Com efeito, todos os povos andam, cada um em nome de seu deus; nós, porém, andaremos para sempre em nome do Senhor nosso Deus.
6 That day -- declares Yahweh- I shal gather in the lame and bring together the strays and those whom Ihave treated harshly.	6 Naquele dia - oráculo do Senhor - recolherei os coxos, reunirei os dispersos e os que eu tinha afligido.
7 From the footsore I shall make a remnant, and from the far-flung a mighty nation. And Yahweh will reignover them on Mount Zion thenceforth and for ever.	7 Dos estropiados farei um resto, dos afastados, uma nação robusta; e o Senhor será o seu rei sobre o monte Sião, desde agora e para sempre.
8 And to you, Tower of the Flock, Ophel of the daughter of Zion, to you your former sovereignty wil return,the royal power of the daughter of Jerusalem.	8 E tu, torre do Rebanho, colina da filha de Sião: voltará a ti tua soberania de outrora, a realeza sobre a casa de Israel.
9 Why are you crying out now? Have you no king? Has your counsel or perished, for pangs to grip youlike those of a woman in labour?	9 E agora, por que gritas? Acaso não há rei em ti? Ou pereceu o teu conselheiro, para que se apoderem de ti dores como as de uma parturiente?
10 Writhe in pain and cry aloud, daughter of Zion, like a woman in labour, for now you must leave the cityand camp in the open country; to Babylon you must go, and there you will be rescued; there Yahweh wil ransomyou from the clutches of your enemies.	10 Convulsiona-te e geme, filha de Sião, como uma mulher que dá à luz. Vais ter que deixar a cidade e morar no campo; irás até Babilônia e ali serás salva; ali te resgatará o Senhor da mão de teus inimigos.
11 Now many nations have mustered against you. They say, 'Let us desecrate her, let us gloat over Zion!'	11 Agora se juntam contra ti numerosas nações que dizem: Seja profanada Sião! Possam nossos olhos ver {esta ruína}!
12 But they do not know Yahweh's thoughts, they do not understand his design: he has col ected themlike sheaves on the threshing-floor.	12 Todavia, elas desconhecem os planos do Senhor, não entendem o seu desígnio, que é de ajuntá-los como grãos na eira.
13 Start your threshing, daughter of Zion, for I shal make your horn like iron, I shall make your hooves likebronze, so that you can crush many peoples. And you wil devote what they have stolen to Yahweh, their wealthto the Lord of the whole earth.	13 Eia, filha de Sião! Tritura aos pés o grão! Pois te darei uma testa de ferro, dar-te-ei cascos de bronze, para que esmagues numerosos povos; votarás seus despojos ao Senhor e suas riquezas ao Senhor da terra.
14 Now look to your fortifications, Fortress! They have laid siege to us; the ruler of Israel wil be struck onthe cheek with a rod.
