Micah 4

NEW JERUSALEM	DIODATI
1 But in days to come Yahweh's Temple Mountain will tower above the mountains, rise higher than thehil s.	1 MA egli avverrà negli ultimi tempi che il monte della Casa del Signore sarà fermato in su la sommità dei monti, e sarà alzato sopra i colli; e i popoli accorreranno ad esso.
2 Then the peoples wil stream to it, then many nations wil come and say, 'Come, we will go up toYahweh's mountain, to the Temple of the God of Jacob, so that he may teach us his ways and we may walk inhis paths; for the Law issues from Zion and Yahweh's word from Jerusalem.'	2 E molte genti andranno, e diranno: Venite, e saliamo al monte del Signore, ed alla Casa dell’Iddio di Giacobbe; ed egli ci ammaestrerà nelle sue vie, e noi cammineremo ne’ suoi sentieri; perciocchè la Legge uscirà di Sion, e la parola del Signore di Gerusalemme.
3 He wil judge between many peoples and arbitrate between mighty nations. They wil hammer theirswords into ploughshares and their spears into bil -hooks. Nation will not lift sword against nation or ever againbe trained to make war.	3 Ed egli farà giudicio fra molti popoli, e castigherà nazioni possenti, fin ben lontano; e quelle delle loro spade fabbricheranno zappe, e delle lor lance falci; l’una nazione non leverà più la spada contro all’altra, e non impareranno più la guerra.
4 But each man wil sit under his vine and fig tree with no one to trouble him. The mouth of YahwehSabaoth has spoken.	4 Anzi sederanno ciascuno sotto alla sua vite, e sotto al suo fico; e non vi sarà alcuno che li spaventi; perciocchè la bocca del Signor degli eserciti ha parlato.
5 For all peoples go forward, each in the name of its god, while we go forward in the name of Yahweh ourGod for ever and ever.	5 Poichè tutti i popoli camminano ciascuno nel nome dell’iddio suo, noi ancora cammineremo nel Nome del Signore Iddio nostro, in sempiterno.
6 That day -- declares Yahweh- I shal gather in the lame and bring together the strays and those whom Ihave treated harshly.	6 In quel giorno, dice il Signore, io raccoglierò le pecore zoppe, e ricetterò le scacciate, e quelle che io avea afflitte;
7 From the footsore I shall make a remnant, and from the far-flung a mighty nation. And Yahweh will reignover them on Mount Zion thenceforth and for ever.	7 e farò che le zoppe saranno per un riserbo, e che le allontanate diverranno una possente nazione; e il Signore regnerà sopra loro nel monte di Sion; da quell’ora fino in sempiterno
8 And to you, Tower of the Flock, Ophel of the daughter of Zion, to you your former sovereignty wil return,the royal power of the daughter of Jerusalem.	8 E tu, torre della mandra, rocca della figliuola di Sion, quelle verranno a te; verrà parimente a te la dominazione antica, il regno della figliuola di Gerusalemme.
9 Why are you crying out now? Have you no king? Has your counsel or perished, for pangs to grip youlike those of a woman in labour?	9 Ora, perchè dài tu di gran gridi? vi è egli alcun re in te? i tuoi consiglieri sono eglino periti, che dolore ti ha colta, come la donna che partorisce?
10 Writhe in pain and cry aloud, daughter of Zion, like a woman in labour, for now you must leave the cityand camp in the open country; to Babylon you must go, and there you will be rescued; there Yahweh wil ransomyou from the clutches of your enemies.	10 Senti pur doglie, e premiti, figliuola di Sion, come la donna che partorisce; perciocchè ora uscirai della città, ed abiterai per li campi, e perverrai fino in Babilonia; ma quivi sarai riscossa, quivi ti riscatterà il Signore di man de’ tuoi nemici.
11 Now many nations have mustered against you. They say, 'Let us desecrate her, let us gloat over Zion!'	11 Or al presente molte nazioni si son radunate contro a te, le quali dicono: Sia profanata; e vegga l’occhio nostro in Sion ciò che desidera.
12 But they do not know Yahweh's thoughts, they do not understand his design: he has col ected themlike sheaves on the threshing-floor.	12 Ma esse non conoscono i pensieri del Signore, e non intendono il suo consiglio; conciossiachè egli le abbia raccolte, a guisa di mannelle nell’aia.
13 Start your threshing, daughter of Zion, for I shal make your horn like iron, I shall make your hooves likebronze, so that you can crush many peoples. And you wil devote what they have stolen to Yahweh, their wealthto the Lord of the whole earth.	13 Levati, e trebbia, figliuola di Sion; perciocchè io renderò di ferro il tuo corno, e di rame le tue unghie, e tu stritolerai molti popoli; ed io consacrerò, a guisa d’interdetto, il lor guadagno al Signore, e le lor facoltà al Signore di tutta le terra
14 Now look to your fortifications, Fortress! They have laid siege to us; the ruler of Israel wil be struck onthe cheek with a rod.
