Micah 4

NEW JERUSALEM	EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS
1 But in days to come Yahweh's Temple Mountain will tower above the mountains, rise higher than thehil s.	1 Sucederá al fin de los tiempos que la montaña de la Casa del Señor será afianzada sobre la cumbre de las montañas y se elevará por encima de las colinas. Los pueblos afluirán hacia ella
2 Then the peoples wil stream to it, then many nations wil come and say, 'Come, we will go up toYahweh's mountain, to the Temple of the God of Jacob, so that he may teach us his ways and we may walk inhis paths; for the Law issues from Zion and Yahweh's word from Jerusalem.'	2 y acudirán naciones numerosas, que dirán: «¡Vengan, subamos a la Montaña del Señor y a la Casa del Dios de Jacob! El nos instruirá en sus caminos y caminaremos por sus sendas». Porque de Sión saldrá la Ley y de Jerusalén, la palabra del Señor.
3 He wil judge between many peoples and arbitrate between mighty nations. They wil hammer theirswords into ploughshares and their spears into bil -hooks. Nation will not lift sword against nation or ever againbe trained to make war.	3 El será juez entre pueblos numerosos y árbitro de naciones poderosas, hasta las más lejanas. Con sus espadas forjarán arados y podaderas con sus lanzas. No levantará la espada una nación contra otra ni se adiestrarán más para la guerra.
4 But each man wil sit under his vine and fig tree with no one to trouble him. The mouth of YahwehSabaoth has spoken.	4 Cada uno se sentará bajo su parra y bajo su higuera, sin que nadie lo perturbe, porque ha hablado la boca del Señor de los ejércitos.
5 For all peoples go forward, each in the name of its god, while we go forward in the name of Yahweh ourGod for ever and ever.	5 Todos los pueblos caminan cada uno en el nombre de su dios; pero nosotros caminamos en el nombre del Señor, nuestro Dios, por siempre jamás.
6 That day -- declares Yahweh- I shal gather in the lame and bring together the strays and those whom Ihave treated harshly.	6 Aquel día –oráculo del Señor– yo reuniré a las ovejas tullidas, congregaré a las descarriadas y a la que yo había maltratado.
7 From the footsore I shall make a remnant, and from the far-flung a mighty nation. And Yahweh will reignover them on Mount Zion thenceforth and for ever.	7 De las tullidas, haré un resto, y de las alejadas, una nación poderosa. Y el Señor reinará sobre ellas en la montaña de Sión, desde ahora y para siempre.
8 And to you, Tower of the Flock, Ophel of the daughter of Zion, to you your former sovereignty wil return,the royal power of the daughter of Jerusalem.	8 Y tú, Torre del Rebaño, Altura de la hija de Sión, a ti llegará otra vez la antigua soberanía, la realeza de la hija de Jerusalén.
9 Why are you crying out now? Have you no king? Has your counsel or perished, for pangs to grip youlike those of a woman in labour?	9 Y ahora ¿por qué lanzas alaridos? ¿Acaso no tienes un rey, o ha desaparecido tu consejero, para que te retuerzas como una parturienta?
10 Writhe in pain and cry aloud, daughter of Zion, like a woman in labour, for now you must leave the cityand camp in the open country; to Babylon you must go, and there you will be rescued; there Yahweh wil ransomyou from the clutches of your enemies.	10 Retuércete y sufre, hija de Sión, como una parturienta, porque ahora vas a salir de la ciudad y habitarás al descampado. Tú llegarás hasta Babilonia y allí serás liberada; allí el Señor te redimirá de la mano de tus enemigos.
11 Now many nations have mustered against you. They say, 'Let us desecrate her, let us gloat over Zion!'	11 Ahora se han reunido contra ti numerosas naciones, que dicen: «¡Que sea profanada, para que nuestros ojos se regocijen a la vista de Sión!».
12 But they do not know Yahweh's thoughts, they do not understand his design: he has col ected themlike sheaves on the threshing-floor.	12 Pero ellos no conocen los planes del Señor ni comprenden su designio: él los ha reunido como gavillas en la era.
13 Start your threshing, daughter of Zion, for I shal make your horn like iron, I shall make your hooves likebronze, so that you can crush many peoples. And you wil devote what they have stolen to Yahweh, their wealthto the Lord of the whole earth.	13 ¡Levántate y trilla, hija de Sión! Yo haré de hierro tu cuerno, y tus pezuñas, de bronce: triturarás a pueblos numerosos; consagrarás al Señor su botín, y sus riquezas al Señor de toda la tierra.
14 Now look to your fortifications, Fortress! They have laid siege to us; the ruler of Israel wil be struck onthe cheek with a rod.	14 ¡Ahora, reagrupa tus tropas, ciudad sitiada! Han puesto un asedio contra nosotros; golpean con la vara en la mejilla al juez de Israel.
