Micah 4

NEW JERUSALEM	BIBBIA RICCIOTTI
1 But in days to come Yahweh's Temple Mountain will tower above the mountains, rise higher than thehil s.	1 - E avverrà che in su gli estremi giorniil monte della Casa del Signoresarà costituito sulla sommità dei montie si eleverà sublime sopra i colli, e i popoli affluiranno a esso;
2 Then the peoples wil stream to it, then many nations wil come and say, 'Come, we will go up toYahweh's mountain, to the Temple of the God of Jacob, so that he may teach us his ways and we may walk inhis paths; for the Law issues from Zion and Yahweh's word from Jerusalem.'	2 e molte genti accorreranno dicendo:- Venite, saliamo al monte del Signore, alla casa del Dio di Giacobbe e ci insegnerà le sue vie, e cammineremo pei suoi sentieri. -Perchè da Sion uscirà la legge, e la parola del Signore da Gerusalemme.
3 He wil judge between many peoples and arbitrate between mighty nations. They wil hammer theirswords into ploughshares and their spears into bil -hooks. Nation will not lift sword against nation or ever againbe trained to make war.	3 Egli sarà arbitro tra molti popoli, e imporrà leggi a potenti e remote nazioni. E trasformeranno le loro spade in vomeri, e le loro aste in zappe, e non impugnerà più un popolo le armi contro l'altroe non si addestreranno più oltre a maneggiare le armi.
4 But each man wil sit under his vine and fig tree with no one to trouble him. The mouth of YahwehSabaoth has spoken.	4 E ciascuno si sederà sotto alla sua vite e sotto al suo fico, senza avere timore da nessuno, perchè la bocca del Signore degli eserciti ha parlato.
5 For all peoples go forward, each in the name of its god, while we go forward in the name of Yahweh ourGod for ever and ever.	5 Perchè tutti i popoli cammineranno ciascuno nel nome del suo Dio, ma noi cammineremo nel nome del Signore Dio nostro per sempre, e poi ancora.
6 That day -- declares Yahweh- I shal gather in the lame and bring together the strays and those whom Ihave treated harshly.	6 - In quel giorno, dice il Signore, io riunirò la pecorella zoppicante e raccoglierò l'espulsa e quella che avevo maltrattata.
7 From the footsore I shall make a remnant, and from the far-flung a mighty nation. And Yahweh will reignover them on Mount Zion thenceforth and for ever.	7 E colla zoppicante metterò in piedi un resto di greggia; e con quella che aveva sofferto, una nazione potente; e sopra di loro regnerà il Signore, dal monte di Sion, da ora in poi per sempre. -
8 And to you, Tower of the Flock, Ophel of the daughter of Zion, to you your former sovereignty wil return,the royal power of the daughter of Jerusalem.	8 E tu, torre del gregge, collina della figlia di Sion, vedrai venire fino a te, vedrai venire la prima potestà, il regno della figlia di Gerusalemme.
9 Why are you crying out now? Have you no king? Has your counsel or perished, for pangs to grip youlike those of a woman in labour?	9 Ed ora perchè ti contorci negli spasimi del dolore? Non hai il tuo re? È perito il tuo consigliere, che ti prendono le doglie, come una donna sopra parto?
10 Writhe in pain and cry aloud, daughter of Zion, like a woman in labour, for now you must leave the cityand camp in the open country; to Babylon you must go, and there you will be rescued; there Yahweh wil ransomyou from the clutches of your enemies.	10 Contorciti pure e spasima come una partoriente, o figlia di Sion, perchè ora uscirai di città e abiterai all'aperta campagna e giungerai fino in Babilonia. Ivi sarai liberata, ivi il Signore ti riscatterà dalle mani dei tuoi nemici.
11 Now many nations have mustered against you. They say, 'Let us desecrate her, let us gloat over Zion!'	11 Ed ora si sono adunate contro di te molte genti che dicono: - Sia dilapidata! Che i nostri occhi possano penetrare in Sion! -
12 But they do not know Yahweh's thoughts, they do not understand his design: he has col ected themlike sheaves on the threshing-floor.	12 Ma esse non hanno conosciuto i disegni di Dio e non penetrarono il suo divisamento, che cioè, egli le radunò come si raduna la paglia nell'aia.
13 Start your threshing, daughter of Zion, for I shal make your horn like iron, I shall make your hooves likebronze, so that you can crush many peoples. And you wil devote what they have stolen to Yahweh, their wealthto the Lord of the whole earth.	13 Sorgi, o figlia di Sion, e trebbia; perchè ti darò corna di ferro e unghie di bronzo, e stritolerai molti popoli, e la loro preda consacrerai a Dio, e le loro spoglie opime, al Signore di tutta la terra.
14 Now look to your fortifications, Fortress! They have laid siege to us; the ruler of Israel wil be struck onthe cheek with a rod.
