Ezekiel 4

NEW JERUSALEM	EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS
1 'For your part, son of man, take a brick and lay it in front of you; on it scratch a city, Jerusalem.	1 Hijo de hombre, toma un ladrillo, colócalo delante de ti y graba sobre él la ciudad de Jerusalén.
2 You are then to besiege it, trench round it, build earthworks, pitch camps and bring up battering-rams alround.	2 Luego la sitiarás: levantarás contra ella torres de asedio, harás terraplenes, instalarás campamentos y emplazarás a su alrededor máquinas de guerra.
3 Then take an iron pan and place it as though it were an iron wal between you and the city. Then fixyour gaze on it; it is being besieged and you are besieging it. This is a sign for the House of Israel.	3 Toma en seguida una sartén de hierro y colócala como muro de hierro entre ti y la ciudad. Mírala fijamente: ella quedará sitiada y tú serás el que la asedia. Esto es una señal para los israelitas.
4 'Lie down on your left side and take the guilt of the House of Israel on yourself. You wil bear their guiltfor as many days as you lie on that side.	4 Acuéstate sobre el lado izquierdo, y yo pondré sobre ti las culpas de los israelitas; tú cargarás con sus culpas durante todo el tiempo que estés acostado sobre ese lado.
5 Allowing one day for every year of their guilt, I ordain that you bear it for three hundred and ninety days;this is how you wil bear the House of Israel's guilt.	5 Yo te he fijado un número de días equivalente a los años de su iniquidad: por eso, durante trescientos noventa días cargarás con las culpas del pueblo de Israel.
6 And when you have finished doing this, you are to lie down again, on your right side, and bear the guiltof the House of Judah for forty days. I have set the length for you as one day for one year.	6 Al cabo de estos días, te acostarás por segunda vez, sobre el lado derecho, y cargarás con las culpas del pueblo de Judá durante cuarenta días: yo te he fijado un día par cada año.
7 Then fix your gaze on the siege of Jerusalem, raise your bared arm and prophesy against her.	7 Después dirigirás tu rostro y tu brazo desnudo hacia el asedio de Jerusalén y profetizarás contra ella.
8 Look, I am going to tie you up and you wil not be able to turn over from one side to the other until theperiod of your seclusion is over.	8 Yo te ato con sogas, para que no puedas darte vuelta de un lado a otro, hasta que hayas cumplido los días de tu asedio.
9 'Now take wheat, barley, beans, lentils, mil et and spelt; put them al in the same pot and make theminto bread for yourself. You are to eat it for as many days as you are lying on your side -- three hundred andninety days.	9 Toma también trigo, cebada, habas, lentejas, mijo y espelta: échalos en un recipiente y prepárate con eso la comida. Tú comerás de ese pan durante todo el tiempo que estés acostado de un lado, o sea durante ciento noventa días.
10 Of this food, you are to weigh out a daily portion of twenty shekels and eat it a little piece at a time.	10 Cada día pesarás una ración de veinte siclos, y la comerás a una hora determinada.
11 And you are to ration the water you drink -- a sixth of a hin -- drinking that a little at a time.	11 También beberás el agua medida –la sexta parte de un hin– y la beberás a una hora determinada.
12 You are to eat this in the form of a barley cake baked where they can see you, on human dung.'	12 Prepararás este alimento en forma de galleta de cebada y lo cocerás sobre excrementos humanos, a la vista del pueblo.
13 And Yahweh said, 'This is how the Israelites wil have to eat their defiled food, wherever I dispersethem among the nations.'	13 Y tú dirás: «así habla el Señor, el Dios de Israel: Así de impuro será el pan que comerán los israelitas, entre las naciones adonde yo los arrojaré».
14 I then said, 'Lord Yahweh, my soul is not defiled. From my childhood until now, I have never eaten ananimal that has died a natural death or been savaged; no tainted meat has ever entered my mouth.'	14 Entonces exclamé: ¡Señor, yo nunca he incurrido en impureza! Desde mi infancia hasta el presente, jamás he comido un animal encontrado muerto o despedazado, ni ha entrado carne impura en mi boca.
15 'Very wel ,' he said, 'I grant you cow-dung instead of human dung; you are to bake your bread on that.'	15 El me respondió: «Está bien, te permito que en lugar de excrementos humanos uses bosta de vaca para hacer tu pan».
16 He then said, 'Son of man, I am going to cut off Jerusalem's food supply; in their extremity, the foodthey eat wil be weighed out; to their horror, the water they drink wil be rationed,	16 Luego añadió: «Hijo de hombre, yo acabaré con las reservas de pan que hay en Jerusalén: comerán angustiosamente el pan racionado y beberán ansiosamente el agua medida.
17 until there is no food or water left, and they fall into a stupor and waste away because of their guilt.'	17 De esta manera, al faltar el pan y el agua, todos desfallecerán y se pudrirán a causa de sus culpas».
