Ezekiel 4

NEW JERUSALEM	BIBLIA
1 'For your part, son of man, take a brick and lay it in front of you; on it scratch a city, Jerusalem.	1 Tú, hijo de hombre, toma un ladrillo y ponlo delante de ti; grabarás en él una ciudad, Jerusalén,
2 You are then to besiege it, trench round it, build earthworks, pitch camps and bring up battering-rams alround.	2 y emprenderás contra ella un asedio: construirás contra ella trincheras, levantarás contra ella terraplenes, emplazarás contra ella campamentos, instalarás contra ella arietes, todo alrededor.
3 Then take an iron pan and place it as though it were an iron wal between you and the city. Then fixyour gaze on it; it is being besieged and you are besieging it. This is a sign for the House of Israel.	3 Toma luego una sartén de hierro y colócala como un muro de hierro entre ti y la ciudad. Fijarás tu rostro sobre ella, y quedará en estado de sitio: tú la sitiarás. Es una señal para la casa de Israel.
4 'Lie down on your left side and take the guilt of the House of Israel on yourself. You wil bear their guiltfor as many days as you lie on that side.	4 Acuéstate del lado izquierdo y pon sobre ti la culpa de la casa de Israel. Todo el tiempo que estés acostado así, llevarás su culpa.
5 Allowing one day for every year of their guilt, I ordain that you bear it for three hundred and ninety days;this is how you wil bear the House of Israel's guilt.	5 Yo te he impuesto los años de su culpa en una duración de trescientos noventa días, durante los cuales cargarás con la culpa de la casa de Israel.
6 And when you have finished doing this, you are to lie down again, on your right side, and bear the guiltof the House of Judah for forty days. I have set the length for you as one day for one year.	6 Cuando hayas terminado estos últimos, te acostarás otra vez del lado derecho, y llevarás la culpa de la casa de Judá durante cuarenta días. Yo te he impuesto un día por año.
7 Then fix your gaze on the siege of Jerusalem, raise your bared arm and prophesy against her.	7 Después fijarás tu rostro y tu brazo desnudo sobre el asedio de Jerusalén, y profetizarás contra ella.
8 Look, I am going to tie you up and you wil not be able to turn over from one side to the other until theperiod of your seclusion is over.	8 He aquí que yo te he atado con cuerdas, y no te darás vuelta de un lado a otro hasta que no hayas cumplido los días de tu reclusión.
9 'Now take wheat, barley, beans, lentils, mil et and spelt; put them al in the same pot and make theminto bread for yourself. You are to eat it for as many days as you are lying on your side -- three hundred andninety days.	9 Toma, pues, trigo, cebada, habas, lentejas, mijo, espelta: ponlo en una misma vasija y haz con ello tu pan. Durante todo el tiempo que estés acostado de un lado - trescientos noventa días - comerás de ello.
10 Of this food, you are to weigh out a daily portion of twenty shekels and eat it a little piece at a time.	10 El alimento que comas será de un peso de veinte siclos por día, que comerás de tal a tal hora.
11 And you are to ration the water you drink -- a sixth of a hin -- drinking that a little at a time.	11 También beberás el agua con medida, beberás la sexta parte de un sextario, de tal a tal hora.
12 You are to eat this in the form of a barley cake baked where they can see you, on human dung.'	12 Comerás este alimento en forma de galleta de cebada que será cocida, a la vista de ellos, sobre excrementos humanos».
13 And Yahweh said, 'This is how the Israelites wil have to eat their defiled food, wherever I dispersethem among the nations.'	13 Y dijo Yahveh: «Así comerán los israelitas su alimento impuro en medio de las naciones donde yo los arrojaré».
14 I then said, 'Lord Yahweh, my soul is not defiled. From my childhood until now, I have never eaten ananimal that has died a natural death or been savaged; no tainted meat has ever entered my mouth.'	14 Yo dije entonces: «¡Ah, Señor Yahveh!, mi alma no está impura. Desde mi infancia hasta el presente jamás he comido bestia muerta o despedazada, ni carne corrompida entró en mi boca».
15 'Very wel ,' he said, 'I grant you cow-dung instead of human dung; you are to bake your bread on that.'	15 El me dijo: «Bien, en lugar de excrementos humanos te permito usar boñiga de buey para que hagas tu pan encima».
16 He then said, 'Son of man, I am going to cut off Jerusalem's food supply; in their extremity, the foodthey eat wil be weighed out; to their horror, the water they drink wil be rationed,	16 Luego me dijo: «Hijo de hombre, he aquí que yo voy a destruir la provisión de pan en Jerusalén: comerán el pan con peso y con angustia; y el agua con medida y con ansiedad la beberán,
17 until there is no food or water left, and they fall into a stupor and waste away because of their guilt.'	17 porque faltarán el pan y el agua: quedarán pasmados todos juntos y se consumirán por sus culpas».
