Ezekiel 37

NEW JERUSALEM	BIBBIA RICCIOTTI
1 The hand of Yahweh was on me; he carried me away by the spirit of Yahweh and set me down in themiddle of the val ey, a valley ful of bones.	1 - E la mano del Signore fu sopra di me e mi trasse fuori in ispirito del Signore e mi posò in mezzo ad un campo che era tutto ingombro di ossa;
2 He made me walk up and down and all around among them. There were vast quantities of thesebones on the floor of the val ey; and they were completely dry.	2 e mi fece girare intorno ad esse ed erano una quantità stragrande sulla superficie del campo e molto inaridite.
3 He said to me, 'Son of man, can these bones live?' I said, 'You know, Lord Yahweh.'	3 E disse a me: «Figlio dell'uomo, pensi tu che quest'ossa rivivranno?». Risposi: «Signore Dio, tu lo sai».
4 He said, 'Prophesy over these bones. Say, "Dry bones, hear the word of Yahweh.	4 Riprese a dirmi: «Profetizza su queste ossa e grida a loro: - Aride ossa, udite la parola del Signore!
5 The Lord Yahweh says this to these bones: I am now going to make breath enter you, and you willlive.	5 Così, dice il Signore Dio, a queste ossa: Ecco ch'io infonderò in voi lo spirito, e rivivrete.
6 I shal put sinews on you, I shal make flesh grow on you, I shal cover you with skin and give youbreath, and you wil live; and you wil know that I am Yahweh." '	6 E farò risalir su di voi i nervi e ricrescere le carni e distendersi sopra di voi la pelle, e vi darò lo spirito e rivivrete e conoscerete che io sono il Signore -».
7 I prophesied as I had been ordered. While I was prophesying, there was a noise, a clattering sound; itwas the bones coming together.	7 Allora profetizzai, come mi aveva comandato: e un bisbiglio si udì al mio profetare, ed ecco un brulichio e un accostarsi di ossa ad ossa, ciascuno alla propria congiuntura.
8 And as I looked, they were covered with sinews; flesh was growing on them and skin was coveringthem, yet there was no breath in them.	8 Io guardava, ed ecco su di esse i nervi e le carni risalite e la pelle di sopra già distesa, ma spirito di vita non avevano.
9 He said to me, 'Prophesy to the breath; prophesy, son of man. Say to the breath, "The Lord Yahwehsays this: Come from the four winds, breath; breathe on these dead, so that they come to life!" '	9 Allora mi disse: «Profetizza allo spirito profetizza, figlio dell'uomo, e grida allo spirito: - Così dice il Signore Dio: Vieni, o spirito dai quattro vènti, e spira sopra questi estinti e rivivano -».
10 I prophesied as he had ordered me, and the breath entered them; they came to life and stood up ontheir feet, a great, an immense army.	10 E tosto profetizzai, come mi aveva comandato: e lo spirito in esse si diffuse e si rizzaron in piedi, un esercito stragrande fuor misura.
11 Then he said, 'Son of man, these bones are the whole House of Israel. They keep saying, "Ourbones are dry, our hope has gone; we are done for."	11 E mi disse: «Figlio dell'uomo, tutte queste ossa sono quei della casa d'Israele. Essi dicono: - Le ossa nostre inaridirono, la nostra speranza è perduta e recisi resteremo. -
12 So, prophesy. Say to them, "The Lord Yahweh says this: I am now going to open your graves; I shallraise you from your graves, my people, and lead you back to the soil of Israel.	12 Per questo profetizza e di' a loro: - Così dice il Signore Dio: Ecco ch'io aprirò le vostre tombe e vi trarrò fuori dai vostri sepolcri, popolo mio, e vi ricondurrò nella terra d'Israele.
13 And you wil know that I am Yahweh, when I open your graves and raise you from your graves, mypeople,	13 E conoscerete che io sono il Signore, quando avrò aperte le vostre tombe e vi avrò tratti fuori dai vostri sepolcri, o popolo mio,
14 and put my spirit in you, and you revive, and I resettle you on your own soil. Then you will know thatI, Yahweh, have spoken and done this -- declares the Lord Yahweh." '	14 e vi avrò infuso il mio spirito e sarete rivissuti e vi avrò ricollocati sopra la vostra terra; e conoscerete che io, il Signore, ho parlato e ho fatto -», dice il Signore Dio.
15 The word of Yahweh was addressed to me as fol ows,	15 E il Signore mi comunicò la sua parola dicendo:
16 'Son of man, take a stick and write on it, "Judah and those Israelites loyal to him." Take another stick and write on it, "Joseph (Ephraim's wood) and all the House of Israel loyal to him."	16 «Or tu, figlio dell'uomo, prendi un pezzo di legno e sopra scrivi: Di Giuda e dei figli di Israele suoi congiunti. Poi prendi un secondo legno e sopra scrivi: A Giuseppe propaggine di Efraim e a tutta la casa di Israele e dei suoi congiunti;
17 'Join one to the other to make a single piece of wood, a single stick in your hand.	17 e accostali l'uno all'altro, che facciano un pezzo solo e siano nella tua mano stretti in unione.
18 And when the members of your nation say, "Wil you not tel us what you mean?"	18 E quando i figli del tuo popolo ti chiederanno dicendo: - E non ci spiegheresti tu che intendi con questa cosa? -
19 say, "The Lord Yahweh says this: I am taking the stick of Joseph (now in Ephraim's hand) and thosetribes of Israel loyal to him and shal join them to the stick of Judah. I shal make one stick out of the two, a singlestick in my hand."	19 Allora risponderai ad essi: - Così dice il Signore Dio: "Ecco che io prenderò il legno di Giuseppe che è in mano a Efraim e delle altre tribù d'Israele a lui congiunte e lo farò combaciare insieme col legno di Giuda, e ne formerò un legno solo e saranno un unico pezzo in sua mano".-
20 'When the pieces of wood you have written on are in your hand in ful sight of them,	20 I due legni sui quali avrai scritto saranno in tua mano davanti ai loro occhi.
21 say, "The Lord Yahweh says this: I shall take the Israelites from the nations where they have gone. Ishall gather them to- gether from everywhere and bring them home to their own soil.	21 E tu dirai a loro: - Così dice il Signore Dio: Ecco che io riprenderò i figli di Israele d'in mezzo alle nazioni, tra le quali se ne erano andati, e li radunerò da tutti i lati e li ricondurrò al loro suolo.
22 I shal make them into one nation in the country, on the mountains of Israel, and one king is to beking of them al ; they will no longer form two nations, nor be two separate kingdoms.	22 E li costituirò in unità di nazione sulla terra montana d'Israele e un unico re sarà il suo sovrano, e non saranno più oltre due nazioni, nè divisi in due regni.
23 They will no longer defile themselves with their foul idols, their horrors and any of their crimes. I shallsave them from the acts of infidelity which they have committed and shal cleanse them; they will be my peopleand I shall be their God.	23 E non si contamineranno più cogl'idoli loro nelle abominazioni e in tutte le altre loro infamità; e li trarrò in salvo da tutte le situazioni ministre ad essi di peccato e li purificherò e saranno il popolo mio e sarò il loro Dio.
24 My servant David will reign over them, one shepherd for al ; they wil fol ow my judgements, respectmy laws and practise them.	24 Il servo mio David sarà re sopra essi e unico sarà di tutti loro il pastore. Cammineranno nelle mie leggi e osserveranno i miei precetti e li metteranno in pratica.
25 They will live in the country which I gave to my servant Jacob, the country in which your ancestorslived. They wil live in it, they, their children, their children's children, for ever. David my servant is to be theirprince for ever.	25 E dimoreranno nella terra che ho dato al mio servo Giacobbe, nella quale avevano fatto dimora i padri vostri; in quella abiteranno essi e i figli loro e i figli dei figli per sempre, e David mio servo sarà il loro principe in perpetuo.
26 I shal make a covenant of peace with them, an eternal covenant with them. I shal resettle them andmake them grow; I shall set my sanctuary among them for ever.	26 E stringerò con essi un'alleanza di pace, un patto che sarà con essi per sempre duraturo e li stabilirò e li moltiplicherò e collocherò il mio santuario in mezzo ad essi per sempre.
27 I shal make my home above them; I shall be their God, and they wil be my people.	27 E il mio tabernacolo sarà in mezzo ad essi, ed io sarò il loro Dio ed essi saranno il mio popolo.
28 And the nations wil know that I am Yahweh the sanctifier of Israel, when my sanctuary is with themfor ever." '	28 E le genti conosceranno che io sono il Signore, il santificatore d'Israele, quando il mio santuario sarà in mezzo ad essi in perpetuo -».
