Ezekiel 37

NEW JERUSALEM	EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS
1 The hand of Yahweh was on me; he carried me away by the spirit of Yahweh and set me down in themiddle of the val ey, a valley ful of bones.	1 La mano del Señor se posó sobre mí, y el Señor me sacó afuera por medio de su espíritu y me puso en el valle, que estaba lleno de huesos.
2 He made me walk up and down and all around among them. There were vast quantities of thesebones on the floor of the val ey; and they were completely dry.	2 Luego me hizo pasar a través de ellos en todas las direcciones, y vi que los huesos tendidos en el valle eran muy numerosos y estaban resecos.
3 He said to me, 'Son of man, can these bones live?' I said, 'You know, Lord Yahweh.'	3 El Señor me dijo: «Hijo de hombre, ¿podrán revivir estos huesos?». Yo respondí: «Tú lo sabes, Señor».
4 He said, 'Prophesy over these bones. Say, "Dry bones, hear the word of Yahweh.	4 El me dijo: «Profetiza sobre estos huesos, diciéndoles: Huesos secos, escuchen la palabra del Señor.
5 The Lord Yahweh says this to these bones: I am now going to make breath enter you, and you willlive.	5 Así habla el Señor a estos huesos: Yo voy a hacer que un espíritu penetre en ustedes, y vivirán.
6 I shal put sinews on you, I shal make flesh grow on you, I shal cover you with skin and give youbreath, and you wil live; and you wil know that I am Yahweh." '	6 Pondré nervios en ustedes, haré crecer carne sobre ustedes, los recubriré de piel, les infundiré un espíritu, y vivirán. Así sabrán que yo soy el Señor».
7 I prophesied as I had been ordered. While I was prophesying, there was a noise, a clattering sound; itwas the bones coming together.	7 Yo profeticé como se me había ordenado, y mientras profetizaba, se produjo un temblor, y los huesos se juntaron unos con otros.
8 And as I looked, they were covered with sinews; flesh was growing on them and skin was coveringthem, yet there was no breath in them.	8 Al mirar, vi que los huesos se cubrían de nervios, que brotaba la carne y se recubrían de piel, pero no había espíritu en ellos.
9 He said to me, 'Prophesy to the breath; prophesy, son of man. Say to the breath, "The Lord Yahwehsays this: Come from the four winds, breath; breathe on these dead, so that they come to life!" '	9 Entonces el Señor me dijo: «Convoca proféticamente al espíritu, profetiza, hijo de hombre, Tú dirás al espíritu: Así habla el Señor: Ven, espíritu, ven de los cuatro vientos, y sopla sobre estos muertos para que revivan».
10 I prophesied as he had ordered me, and the breath entered them; they came to life and stood up ontheir feet, a great, an immense army.	10 Yo profeticé como él me lo había ordenado, y el espíritu penetró en ellos. Así revivieron y se incorporaron sobre sus pies. Era un ejército inmenso.
11 Then he said, 'Son of man, these bones are the whole House of Israel. They keep saying, "Ourbones are dry, our hope has gone; we are done for."	11 Luego el Señor me dijo: Hijo de hombre, estos huesos son toda la casa de Israel. Ellos dicen: «Se han secado nuestros huesos y se ha desvanecido nuestro esperanza. ¡Estamos perdidos!».
12 So, prophesy. Say to them, "The Lord Yahweh says this: I am now going to open your graves; I shallraise you from your graves, my people, and lead you back to the soil of Israel.	12 Por eso, profetiza diciéndoles: Así habla el Señor: Yo voy a abrir las tumbas de ustedes, los haré salir de ellas, y los haré volver, pueblo mío, a la tierra de Israel.
13 And you wil know that I am Yahweh, when I open your graves and raise you from your graves, mypeople,	13 Y cuando abra sus tumbas y los haga salir de ellas, ustedes, mi pueblo, sabrán que yo soy el Señor.
14 and put my spirit in you, and you revive, and I resettle you on your own soil. Then you will know thatI, Yahweh, have spoken and done this -- declares the Lord Yahweh." '	14 Yo pondré mi espíritu en ustedes, y vivirán; los estableceré de nuevo en su propio suelo, y así sabrán que yo, el Señor, lo he dicho y lo haré –oráculo del Señor–.
15 The word of Yahweh was addressed to me as fol ows,	15 La palabra del Señor me llegó en estos términos:
16 'Son of man, take a stick and write on it, "Judah and those Israelites loyal to him." Take another stick and write on it, "Joseph (Ephraim's wood) and all the House of Israel loyal to him."	16 Hijo de hombre, toma un trozo de madera y escribe sobre él: «Judá y los israelitas que le están unidos». Toma después otro trozo y escribe: «José, madera de Efraím, y toda la casa de Israel unida a él».
17 'Join one to the other to make a single piece of wood, a single stick in your hand.	17 Júntalos luego uno con el otro, de manera que formen una sola pieza de madera y sean una sola cosa en tu mano.
18 And when the members of your nation say, "Wil you not tel us what you mean?"	18 Y cuando la gente de tu pueblo te pregunte: ¿No vas a explicarnos qué quieres decir con esto?»,
19 say, "The Lord Yahweh says this: I am taking the stick of Joseph (now in Ephraim's hand) and thosetribes of Israel loyal to him and shal join them to the stick of Judah. I shal make one stick out of the two, a singlestick in my hand."	19 Tú les responderás: Así habla el Señor: Yo voy a tomar la madera de José, que está en la mano de Efraím, y a las tribus de Israel unidas a él, y les añadiré la madera de Judá. Así haré de todos ellos un solo trozo de madera, y serán una sola cosa en mi mano.
20 'When the pieces of wood you have written on are in your hand in ful sight of them,	20 Los trozos de madera sobre los que hayas escrito deberán estar en tu mano, bien a la vista de ellos.
21 say, "The Lord Yahweh says this: I shall take the Israelites from the nations where they have gone. Ishall gather them to- gether from everywhere and bring them home to their own soil.	21 Entonces les dirás: Así habla el Señor: Yo voy a tomar a los israelitas de entre las naciones adonde habían ido; los reuniré de todas partes y los llevaré a su propio suelo.
22 I shal make them into one nation in the country, on the mountains of Israel, and one king is to beking of them al ; they will no longer form two nations, nor be two separate kingdoms.	22 Haré de ellos una sola nación en la tierra, en las montañas de Israel, y todos tendrán un solo rey: ya no formarán dos naciones ni estarán más divididos en dos reinos.
23 They will no longer defile themselves with their foul idols, their horrors and any of their crimes. I shallsave them from the acts of infidelity which they have committed and shal cleanse them; they will be my peopleand I shall be their God.	23 Ya no volverán a contaminarse con sus ídolos, con sus abominaciones y con todas sus rebeldías. Los salvaré de sus pecados de apostasía y los purificaré: ellos serán mi Pueblo y yo seré su Dios.
24 My servant David will reign over them, one shepherd for al ; they wil fol ow my judgements, respectmy laws and practise them.	24 Mi servidor David reinará sobre ellos y todos ellos tendrán un solo pastor. Observarán mis leyes, cumplirán mis preceptos y los pondrán en práctica.
25 They will live in the country which I gave to my servant Jacob, the country in which your ancestorslived. They wil live in it, they, their children, their children's children, for ever. David my servant is to be theirprince for ever.	25 Habitarán en la tierra que di a mi servidor Jacob, donde habitaron sus padres. Allí habitarán para siempre, ellos, sus hijos y sus nietos; y mi servidor David será su príncipe eternamente.
26 I shal make a covenant of peace with them, an eternal covenant with them. I shal resettle them andmake them grow; I shall set my sanctuary among them for ever.	26 Estableceré para ellos una alianza de paz, que será para ellos una alianza eterna. Los instalaré, los multiplicaré y pondré mi Santuario en medio de ellos para siempre.
27 I shal make my home above them; I shall be their God, and they wil be my people.	27 Mi morada estará junto a ellos: yo seré su Dios y ellos serán mi Pueblo.
28 And the nations wil know that I am Yahweh the sanctifier of Israel, when my sanctuary is with themfor ever." '	28 Y cuando mi Santuario esté en medio de ellos para siempre, las naciones sabrán que yo soy el Señor, el que santifico a Israel.
