NEW JERUSALEM	KÁLDI-NEOVULGÁTA
1 In the tenth year, on the twelfth day of the tenth month, the word of Yahweh was addressed to me asfol ows,	1 A tizedik esztendőben, a tizedik hónapban, a hónap tizenegyedik napján az Úr ezt a szózatot intézte hozzám:
2 'Son of man, turn towards Pharaoh king of Egypt and prophesy against him and against the whole ofEgypt.	2 »Emberfia, fordítsd arcodat a fáraó, Egyiptom királya ellen, és jövendölj ellene és egész Egyiptom ellen.
3 Speak and say, "The Lord Yahweh says this: Look, I am against you, Pharaoh king of Egypt- the greatcrocodile wal owing in his Niles who thought: My Nile is mine, I made it.	3 Beszélj és mondd: Így szól az Úr Isten: Íme, ellened fordulok, te fáraó, Egyiptom királya, te nagy sárkány, aki folyóid közepette fekszel és így szólsz: ‘Enyém a folyó, én alkottam önmagamat!’
4 I shal put hooks through your jaws, make your Nile fish stick to your scales, and pul you out of yourNiles with al your Nile fish sticking to your scales.	4 Kampót teszek állkapcsodra, Pikkelyeidre tapasztom folyóid halait, kihúzlak folyóid közül, téged és minden haladat, amely pikkelyeidhez tapad.
5 I shal drop you in the desert, with al your Nile fish. You will fal in the wilds and not be taken up orburied. I shall give you as food to the wild animals and the birds of heaven,	5 Kivetlek a sivatagba, téged és folyódnak minden halát; a föld színére zuhansz, nem szednek össze, sem egybe nem gyűjtenek téged; a föld vadállatainak s az ég madarainak adlak, hogy felfaljanak.
6 and all the inhabitants of Egypt will know that I am Yahweh, for they have given no more support thana reed to the House of Israel.	6 Akkor megtudja majd Egyiptomnak minden lakója, hogy én vagyok az Úr! Mivel nádból való támasza vagy Izrael házának,
7 Wherever they grasped you, you broke in their hands and cut their hands al over. Whenever theyleaned on you, you broke, making al their limbs give way.	7 ha kezükbe vesznek téged, összeroppansz, és megsebzed egész tenyerüket; ha pedig rád támaszkodnak, széttörsz, és szétszaggatod egész veséjüket.
8 "So, the Lord Yahweh says this: I shal send the sword against you to denude you of human andanimal.	8 Azért így szól az Úr Isten: Íme, kardot bocsátok rád és megölök benned embert és állatot,
9 Egypt wil become a desolate waste, and they wil know that I am Yahweh. Because he thought: TheNile is mine, I made it,	9 és Egyiptom földje pusztasággá lesz és sivataggá; akkor megtudják majd, hogy én vagyok az Úr. Mivel így szóltál: ‘Enyém a folyó, én alkottam azt!’ –
10 very well, I am against you and your Niles. I shal make Egypt a waste and a desolation, from Migdolto Syene and beyond to the frontiers of Ethiopia.	10 azért íme, ellened fordulok és folyóid ellen. Egyiptom földjét sivataggá teszem, mert kard pusztítja majd el a torony pusztájától Sziéné határáig.
11 No human foot wil pass through it, no animal foot will pass through it. For forty years it wil remainuninhabited.	11 Nem megy rajta keresztül ember lába, sem állat lába nem jár rajta, és nem lakják majd negyven esztendőn keresztül.
12 I shal make Egypt the most desolate of countries; for forty years its cities wil be the most desolate ofwasted cities. And I shall scatter the Egyptians among the nations and disperse them among the countries.	12 Pusztasággá teszem Egyiptom földjét az elpusztított országok között, és városait az elpusztított városok között; romokká lesznek negyven esztendőn keresztül, és szétszórom Egyiptomot a nemzetek közé, és elszélesztem őket az országokba.
13 The Lord Yahweh, however, says this: After forty years have passed, I shal gather the Egyptiansback from the nations where they were dispersed.	13 Mert így szól az Úr Isten: Negyven esztendő múlva egybegyűjtöm Egyiptomot a népek közül, amelyek közé szétszórtam őket;
14 I shal bring the Egyptian captives back and re-instal them in the land of Pathros, in the country oftheir origin. There they wil constitute a modest kingdom.	14 és visszaviszem Egyiptom foglyait és letelepítem őket Patrosz földjén, az ő szülőföldjükön, s ott jelentéktelen országgá lesznek.
15 Egypt wil be the most modest of kingdoms and no longer dominate other nations; for I shal reduce it,so that it will not rule other nations ever again.	15 A többi ország között a legjelentéktelenebb lesz, és nem emelkedik fel többé a nemzetek fölé; megkurtítom számukat, hogy ne uralkodjanak a nemzetek fölött.
16 It wil no longer be anything for the House of Israel to trust in, but wil be a reminder of the guilt whichlay in turning to it for help. And they will know that I am Lord Yahweh." '	16 Izrael háza nem fog többé azokban bízni, akik gonoszságra tanították, hogy tőlem elpártoljanak és őket kövessék; akkor megtudják, majd hogy én, az Úr vagyok az Isten!«
17 In the twenty-seventh year, on the first day of the first month, the word of Yahweh was addressed tome as fol ows:	17 Történt pedig a huszonhetedik esztendőben, az első hónap első napján, hogy az Úr ezt a szózatot intézte hozzám:
18 'Son of man, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon has taken his army in a great expedition against Tyre.Their heads have al gone bald, their shoulders are al chafed, but even so he has derived no profit, either forhimself or for his army, from the expedition mounted against Tyre.	18 »Emberfia, Nebukadnezár, Babilon királya nehéz szolgálatra kényszerítette hadseregét Tírusz ellen; minden fej belekopaszodott és minden váll lehorzsolódott; bért pedig nem kapott sem ő, sem a hadserege Tírusz miatt azért a szolgálatért, amit nekem tett ellene.
19 Since this is so, the Lord Yahweh says this, "Look, I shall hand Egypt over to Nebuchadnezzar kingof Babylon. He wil carry off its riches, loot it, put it to the sack; that wil be the wages for his army.	19 Ezért így szól az Úr Isten: Íme, én Egyiptom földjére vezetem Nebukadnezárt, Babilon királyát, s ő majd elhurcolja annak sokaságát, elveszi prédáját és elragadja zsákmányát. Ez lesz hadseregének bére
20 As wages for the trouble he has taken, I am giving him Egypt instead (for they have been working forme)-declares the Lord Yahweh.	20 azért a fáradságért, amellyel nekem szolgált ellene. Neki adom Egyiptom földjét azért, hogy értem fáradozott – mondja az Úr Isten. –
21 "That day, I shall raise up a new stock for the House of Israel and al ow you to open your mouthamong them. And they wil know that I am Yahweh." '	21 Azon a napon kinő majd Izrael házának a szarva, a te szádat pedig megnyitom közöttük; akkor megtudják majd, hogy én vagyok az Úr!«
