Jeremiah 45

NEW JERUSALEM	JERUSALEM
1 The word that the prophet Jeremiah addressed to Baruch son of Neriah when the latter wrote thesewords down in a book at Jeremiah's dictation in the fourth year of Jehoiakim son of Josiah, king of Judah,	1 Parole qu'adressa le prophète Jérémie à Baruch, fils de Nériyya, quand celui-ci écrivit ces parolesdans un livre sous la dictée de Jérémie, la quatrième année de Joiaqim, fils de Josias, roi de Juda.
2 'This is what Yahweh God of Israel says about you, Baruch!	2 Ainsi parle Yahvé, le Dieu d'Israël, à ton sujet, Baruch.
3 "You have been thinking: what disaster for me, and Yahweh has added further grief to my troubles! Iam worn out with groaning, and find no relief!"	3 Tu as dit: "Malheur à moi, car Yahvé accumule pour moi peines sur douleurs! Je suis épuisé àforce de gémir et ne trouve aucun répit!"
4 Say to him as fol ows, "Yahweh says this: Now I am knocking down what I have built, am uprootingwhat I have planted, over the whole country!	4 Tu lui parleras en ces termes: Ainsi parle Yahvé. Ce que j'avais bâti, je le démolis, ce que j'avaisplanté, je l'arrache, et cela pour toute la terre!
5 And you ask for special treatment! Do not ask, for I am now going to bring disaster on al humanity,Yahweh declares, but you I shal al ow to escape with your life, wherever you may go." '	5 Et toi, tu réclames pour toi de grandes choses! Ne réclame pas, car voici que moi, j'amène lemalheur sur toute chair, oracle de Yahvé. Mais toi, je t'accorde ta vie pour butin, partout où tu iras.
