NEW JERUSALEM	LA SACRA BIBBIA
1 'Disaster for the shepherds who lose and scatter the sheep of my pasture, Yahweh declares.	1 Guai ai pastori sfruttatori e dissipatori del gregge del mio pascolo, oracolo del Signore.
2 This, therefore, is what Yahweh, God of Israel, says about the shepherds who shepherd my people,"You have scattered my flock, you have driven them away and have not taken care of them. Right, I shal takecare of you for your misdeeds, Yahweh declares!	2 Perciò così dice il Signore, Dio di Israele, contro i pastori che pascolano il mio popolo: "Voi avete sfruttato il mio gregge e l'avete disperso e non ve ne siete preoccupati. Eccomi: io mi preoccuperò di voi, della malvagità delle vostre azioni, oracolo del Signore.
3 But the remnant of my flock I myself shal gather from all the countries where I have driven them, andbring them back to their folds; they will be fruitful and increase in numbers.	3 Quanto a me, io radunerò il resto del mio gregge da tutti i paesi dove li ho dispersi e li ricondurrò al loro pascolo e prolificheranno e si moltiplicheranno.
4 For them I shall raise up shepherds to shepherd them and pasture them. No fear, no terror for themany more; not one shal be lost, Yahweh declares!	4 Susciterò poi su di esso pastori che li pascoleranno e non temeranno né si spaventeranno, né alcuno verrà a mancare. Oracolo del Signore".
5 Look, the days are coming, Yahweh declares, when I shal raise an upright Branch for David; he willreign as king and be wise, doing what is just and upright in the country.	5 "Ecco: giorni vengono, oracolo del Signore, in cui io susciterò a Davide un germe giusto e regnerà qual re; sarà saggio ed eserciterà diritto e giustizia nel paese.
6 In his days Judah wil triumph and Israel live in safety. And this is the name he wil be called, 'Yahweh-is-our-Saving-Justice.' "	6 Ai suoi giorni sarà salvato Giuda e Israele dimorerà con sicurezza. Questo poi è il nome con cui sarà chiamato: Signore-giustizia-nostra!
7 'So, look, the days are coming, Yahweh declares, when people wil no longer say, "As Yahweh liveswho brought the Israelites out of Egypt,"	7 Perciò, ecco che vengono giorni, oracolo del Signore, nei quali non diranno più: "Per la vita del Signore, che ha ricondotto i figli di Israele dal paese d'Egitto",
8 but, "As Yahweh lives who led back and brought home the offspring of the House of Israel from theland of the north and all the countries to which he had driven them, to live on their own soil." '	8 bensì: "Per la vita del Signore, che ha fatto uscire e ricondotto il seme della casa d'Israele dal paese del nord e da tutti i paesi dove li aveva dispersi: essi riposeranno nel loro territorio".
9 On the prophets. My heart is broken within me, I tremble in al my bones; I am like a drunken man, likea man overcome with wine, because of Yahweh and his holy words:	9 "Contro i profeti. Si spezza il mio cuore dentro di me, si slogano tutte le mie ossa; son divenuto come un ubriaco e come uomo sopraffatto dal vino a causa del Signore, a causa delle sue parole sante!
10 'For the country is ful of adulterers; yes, because of a curse, the country is in mourning and thepasturage in the desert has dried up; they are prompt to do wrong, make no effort to do right.	10 Sì, il paese è pieno di adùlteri; a causa della maledizione è in lutto il paese: si seccano i prati del deserto. La loro via è perversa e la loro forza non è retta.
11 Yes, even prophet and priest are godless, I have detected their wickedness in my own House,Yahweh declares.	11 Anche il profeta e il sacerdote sono divenuti empi; perfino nella mia casa trovo la malvagità loro. Oracolo del Signore.
12 Because of this, their way wil prove treacherous going for them; in the darkness where they aredriven, there they wil fall. For I shal bring disaster on them, when the year for punishing them comes, Yahwehdeclares.	12 Perciò la loro strada sarà per loro stessi come luogo sdrucciolevole. 13 'In the prophets of Samaria I have seen insanity: they prophesied in the name of Baal and led mypeople Israel astray.	13 Anche tra i profeti di Samaria ho visto scempiaggini: hanno profetizzato per Baal, e hanno traviato il mio popolo, Israele.
14 But in the prophets of Jerusalem I have seen something horrible: adultery, persistent lying, suchabetting of the wicked that no one renounces his wickedness. To me they are al like Sodom and its inhabitantsare like Gomorrah.	14 E tra i profeti di Gerusalemme ho visto nefandezze: commettere adulterio e camminare nel falso; essi rafforzano le mani dei malfattori perché non si ritiri alcuno dalla sua malvagità. Son divenuti, per me, tutti come Sodoma e gli abitanti suoi come Gomorra.
15 So this is what Yahweh Sabaoth says about the prophets, "Now I shal give them wormwood to eatand make them drink poisoned water, since from the prophets of Jerusalem godlessness has spread throughoutthe land."	15 Perciò così dice il Signore degli eserciti contro i profeti: Ecco, io vi nutrirò di assenzio e vi darò a bere acqua avvelenata, perché per colpa dei profeti di Gerusalemme si è sparsa l'empietà su tutto il paese.
16 'Yahweh Sabaoth says this, "Do not listen to what those prophets prophesy to you; they are deludingyou, they retail visions of their own, and not what comes from Yahweh's mouth.	16 Così dice il Signore degli eserciti: Non date ascolto alle parole dei profeti che vi profetizzano; essi vi fanno credere cose vane; visioni del loro cuore vi annunciano e non da parte del Signore!
17 To those who despise me, they keep saying: Yahweh has spoken: you wil have peace! and to al whofol ow their own stubborn inclinations: No disaster wil touch you."	17 Essi dicono a chi mi disprezza: "Ha detto il Signore: avrete salvezza!"; e a chiunque cammina nella durezza del proprio cuore dicono: "Non verrà contro di voi sventura!".
18 But who has been present in Yahweh's council and seen, and heard his word? Who has paidattention to his word and listened to it?	18 Infatti, chi assisté al consiglio del Signore, lo vide e ascoltò la sua parola? Chi ha fatto attenzione alla sua parola e l'ha compresa?
19 Look, Yahweh's hurricane, his wrath, bursts out, a fearsome hurricane, to burst on the heads of thewicked;	19 Ecco: la burrasca del Signore scoppia furiosa, burrasca turbinante si aggira sulla testa degli empi.
20 Yahweh's anger wil not withdraw until he has performed, has carried out, what he has in mind. In thefinal days, you wil understand this clearly,	20 Non si ritirerà l'ira del Signore, finché lui abbia compiuto e realizzato i disegni del suo cuore. Al termine dei giorni lo comprenderete a pieno.
21 'I did not send these prophets, yet they ran! I did not speak to them, yet they prophesied!	21 Io non ho inviato questi profeti, ma essi corrono; non ho parlato a loro, ma essi profetizzano.
22 Had they been present in my council, they could have proclaimed my words to my people and turnedthem from their evil way and from the wickedness of their deeds!	22 Se avessero assistito al mio consiglio, avrebbero annunciato la mia parola al mio popolo, l'avrebbero fatto ritirare dalla sua condotta malvagia e dalla malvagità delle sue azioni.
23 'Am I a God when near, Yahweh demands, and not a God when far away?	23 Sono forse un Dio-da-vicino, oracolo del Signore, e non un Dio-da-lontano?
24 Can anyone hide somewhere secret without my seeing him? Yahweh demands. Do I not fil heavenand earth? Yahweh demands.	24 Può nascondersi alcuno nei nascondigli che io non lo veda? Oracolo del Signore. Forse che i cieli e la terra non li riempio io? Oracolo del Signore.
25 'I have heard what the prophets say who make their lying prophecies in my name. "I have had adream," they say, "I have had a dream!"	25 Ho inteso ciò che hanno detto questi profeti che profetizzano in nome mio menzogna, dicendo: "Ho sognato! Ho sognato!".
26 How long are there to be those among the prophets who prophesy lies and are in fact prophets oftheir own delusions?	26 Fin quando dovrà durare ciò nel cuore di questi profeti che profetizzano la menzogna e profetizzano l'inganno del loro cuore?
27 They are doing their best, by means of the dreams that they keep tel ing each other, to make mypeople forget my name, just as their ancestors forgot my name in favour of Baal.	27 Essi pensano di far dimenticare al mio popolo il mio nome con i loro sogni, quelli che ognuno racconta all'altro, come i loro padri hanno dimenticato il mio nome per Baal.
28 Let the prophet who has had a dream tel it for a dream! And let him who receives a word from me,deliver my word accurately! 'What have straw and wheat in common? 32 I have a quarrel with the prophets who make prophecies out of lying dreams, Yahweh declares, whorecount them, and lead my people astray by their lies and their bragging. I certainly never sent them orcommissioned them, and they serve no good purpose for this people, Yahweh declares.	32 Eccomi contro i profeti di sogni menzogneri, oracolo del Signore. 33 'And when this people, or a prophet, or a priest, asks you, "What is Yahweh's burden?" you mustanswer, "You are the burden, and I shal get rid of you, Yahweh declares!"	33 "Se pertanto questo popolo, o un profeta o un sacerdote, ti interrogherà: "Qual è l'incarico-del-Signore?", risponderai: "Voi siete il carico e vi ho rigettato!". Oracolo del Signore.
34 'As for the prophet, the priest, or anyone else, who says, "Yahweh's burden", I shall punish that man,and his household too.	34 Se poi il profeta o il sacerdote o la gente dirà: "Incarico-del-Signore", io punirò quell'individuo e la sua casa.
35 This is what you must say to one another, among yourselves, "What answer has Yahweh given?" or"What has Yahweh said?"	35 Così direte uno all'altro e ognuno al proprio fratello: "Cosa ha risposto il Signore e cosa ha detto il Signore?".
36 But stop using the expression "Yahweh's burden", for what each man says will be his ownresponsibility. And you twist the words of the living God, of Yahweh Sabaoth, our God.	36 Ma voi non userete più "carico-del-Signore", altrimenti un "carico" sarà per ognuno la propria parola e pervertirete le parole del Dio vivente, Signore degli eserciti, Dio nostro.
37 This is the way to speak to a prophet, "What answer has Yahweh given?" or "What has Yahwehsaid?"	37 Così si dirà al profeta: "Cosa ti ha risposto il Signore e qual è la sua parola?".
38 But if you say, "Yahweh's burden", then Yahweh says this, "Since you use the expression 'Yahweh'sburden', when I have warned you to stop saying, 'Yahweh's burden',	38 Ma se direte: "Incarico-del-Signore", allora così dice il Signore: Poiché voi dite questa parola "Incarico-del-Signore",
39 believe me, I shal pick you up and fling you from my presence, you and the city I gave to you and toyour ancestors.	39 per questo eccomi: Io mi dimenticherò di voi e rigetterò completamente voi e la città che io ho dato a voi e ai vostri padri, dinanzi al mio cospetto,
40 I shal bring down everlasting shame on you, everlasting and unforgettable disgrace." '	40 e vi renderò un'ignominia perpetua e una vergogna che non si dimentica".
