1 Yahweh spoke to Moses and Aaron and said:	1 וידבר יהוה אל משה ואל אהרן לאמר
2 'Speak to the Israelites and say to them: "When a man has a discharge from his body, that dischargeis unclean.	2 דברו אל בני ישראל ואמרתם אלהם איש איש כי יהיה זב מבשרו זובו טמא הוא
3 While the discharge continues, the nature of his uncleanness is as fol ows: "Whether his body al owsthe discharge to flow or whether it retains it, he is unclean.	3 וזאת תהיה טמאתו בזובו רר בשרו את זובו או החתים בשרו מזובו טמאתו הוא
4 "Any bed the man lies on and anything he sits on wil be unclean.	4 כל המשכב אשר ישכב עליו הזב יטמא וכל הכלי אשר ישב עליו יטמא
5 "Anyone who touches his bed must wash clothing and body and will be unclean until evening.	5 ואיש אשר יגע במשכבו יכבס בגדיו ורחץ במים וטמא עד הערב
6 "Anyone who sits where the man has sat must wash clothing and body and will be unclean untilevening.	6 והישב על הכלי אשר ישב עליו הזב יכבס בגדיו ורחץ במים וטמא עד הערב
7 "Anyone who touches the body of the man with the discharge must wash clothing and body and wil beunclean until evening.	7 והנגע בבשר הזב יכבס בגדיו ורחץ במים וטמא עד הערב
8 "If the man with the discharge spits on someone who is clean, that person must wash clothing andbody and wil be unclean until evening.	8 וכי ירק הזב בטהור וכבס בגדיו ורחץ במים וטמא עד הערב
9 "Any saddle the man has ridden on wil be unclean.	9 וכל המרכב אשר ירכב עליו הזב יטמא
10 "Al those who touch any object that has been under him wil be unclean until evening. "Anyone whopicks up such an object must wash clothing and body and wil be unclean until evening.	10 וכל הנגע בכל אשר יהיה תחתיו יטמא עד הערב והנושא אותם יכבס בגדיו ורחץ במים וטמא עד הערב
11 "Al those whom the man with the discharge touches without having washed his hands must washclothing and body and wil be unclean until evening.	11 וכל אשר יגע בו הזב וידיו לא שטף במים וכבס בגדיו ורחץ במים וטמא עד הערב
12 "The earthenware vessel he touches must be broken and any wooden utensil must be rinsed.	12 וכלי חרש אשר יגע בו הזב ישבר וכל כלי עץ ישטף במים
13 "Once the man with the discharge is cured, he will al ow seven days for his purification. He wil washhis clothes and wash his body in running water and he wil be clean.	13 וכי יטהר הזב מזובו וספר לו שבעת ימים לטהרתו וכבס בגדיו ורחץ בשרו במים חיים וטהר
14 On the eighth day he wil take two turtledoves or two young pigeons and come before Yahweh at theentrance to the Tent of Meeting and give them to the priest.	14 וביום השמיני יקח לו שתי תרים או שני בני יונה ובא לפני יהוה אל פתח אהל מועד ונתנם אל הכהן
15 The priest wil offer one of them as a sacrifice for sin and the other as a burnt offering. And in this waythe priest wil perform the rite of expiation for him before Yahweh for his discharge.	15 ועשה אתם הכהן אחד חטאת והאחד עלה וכפר עליו הכהן לפני יהוה מזובו
16 "When a man has a seminal discharge, he must wash his whole body with water and wil be uncleanuntil evening.	16 ואיש כי תצא ממנו שכבת זרע ורחץ במים את כל בשרו וטמא עד הערב
17 Any clothing or leather touched by the seminal discharge must be washed and wil be unclean untilevening.	17 וכל בגד וכל עור אשר יהיה עליו שכבת זרע וכבס במים וטמא עד הערב
18 When a woman has had intercourse with a man, both of them must wash and wil be unclean untilevening.	18 ואשה אשר ישכב איש אתה שכבת זרע ורחצו במים וטמאו עד הערב
19 "Whenever a woman has a discharge and the discharge from her body is of blood, she wil remain ina state of menstrual pol ution for seven days. "Anyone who touches her wil be unclean until evening.	19 ואשה כי תהיה זבה דם יהיה זבה בבשרה שבעת ימים תהיה בנדתה וכל הנגע בה יטמא עד הערב
20 "Anything she lies on in this pol uted state will be unclean; anything she sits on wil be unclean.	20 וכל אשר תשכב עליו בנדתה יטמא וכל אשר תשב עליו יטמא
21 "Anyone who touches her bed must wash clothing and body and wil be unclean until evening.	21 וכל הנגע במשכבה יכבס בגדיו ורחץ במים וטמא עד הערב
22 "Anyone who touches anything she has sat on must wash clothing and body and will be unclean untilevening.	22 וכל הנגע בכל כלי אשר תשב עליו יכבס בגדיו ורחץ במים וטמא עד הערב
23 If there is anything on the bed or where she is sitting, anyone who touches it wil be unclean untilevening.	23 ואם על המשכב הוא או על הכלי אשר הוא ישבת עליו בנגעו בו יטמא עד הערב
24 "If a man goes so far as to sleep with her, he wil contract her menstrual pollution and will be uncleanfor seven days. Any bed he lies on wil be unclean.	24 ואם שכב ישכב איש אתה ותהי נדתה עליו וטמא שבעת ימים וכל המשכב אשר ישכב עליו יטמא
25 "If a woman has a prolonged discharge of blood outside the period, or if the period is prolonged,during the time this discharge lasts she wil be in the same state of uncleanness as during her monthly periods.	25 ואשה כי יזוב זוב דמה ימים רבים בלא עת נדתה או כי תזוב על נדתה כל ימי זוב טמאתה כימי נדתה תהיה טמאה הוא
26 Any bed she lies on during the time this discharge lasts will be pol uted in the same way as the bedshe lies on during her monthly periods. Anything she sits on wil be unclean as during her monthly periods.	26 כל המשכב אשר תשכב עליו כל ימי זובה כמשכב נדתה יהיה לה וכל הכלי אשר תשב עליו טמא יהיה כטמאת נדתה
27 Anyone who touches it wil be unclean and must wash clothing and body and will be unclean untilevening.	27 וכל הנוגע בם יטמא וכבס בגדיו ורחץ במים וטמא עד הערב
28 "Once she is cured of her discharge, she will allow seven days to go by; after that she will be clean.	28 ואם טהרה מזובה וספרה לה שבעת ימים ואחר תטהר
29 On the eighth day she wil take two turtledoves or two young pigeons and bring them to the priest atthe entrance to the Tent of Meeting.	29 וביום השמיני תקח לה שתי תרים או שני בני יונה והביאה אותם אל הכהן אל פתח אהל מועד
30 The priest wil offer one of them as a sacrifice for sin and the other as a burnt offering. And in this waythe priest wil perform the rite of expiation for her before Yahweh for the discharge which made her unclean.	30 ועשה הכהן את האחד חטאת ואת האחד עלה וכפר עליה הכהן לפני יהוה מזוב טמאתה
31 "Hence you will warn the Israelites against contracting a state of uncleanness, rather than incurringdeath by defiling my Dwel ing which is among them.	31 והזרתם את בני ישראל מטמאתם ולא ימתו בטמאתם בטמאם את משכני אשר בתוכם
32 "Such is the law governing a man with a discharge or who is made unclean by a seminal discharge,	32 זאת תורת הזב ואשר תצא ממנו שכבת זרע לטמאה בה
33 a woman in a state of pol ution due to menstruation, a man or a woman with a discharge, or a manwho sleeps with a woman when she is unclean." '	33 והדוה בנדתה והזב את זובו לזכר ולנקבה ולאיש אשר ישכב עם טמאה
