Leviticus 15

NEW JERUSALEM	EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS
1 Yahweh spoke to Moses and Aaron and said:	1 El Señor dijo a Moisés y a Aarón:
2 'Speak to the Israelites and say to them: "When a man has a discharge from his body, that dischargeis unclean.	2 Hablen en estos términos a los israelitas: Si un hombre sufre de blenorrea, su flujo es impuro.
3 While the discharge continues, the nature of his uncleanness is as fol ows: "Whether his body al owsthe discharge to flow or whether it retains it, he is unclean.	3 Ya sea que su miembro deje salir el flujo, o que se obstruya a causa del mismo, su impureza consistirá en lo siguiente:
4 "Any bed the man lies on and anything he sits on wil be unclean.	4 Cualquier lecho donde ese hombre se acueste y cualquier mueble donde se siente, serán impuros.
5 "Anyone who touches his bed must wash clothing and body and will be unclean until evening.	5 El que toque su lecho deberá lavar su ropa, se bañará con agua y será impuro hasta la tarde.
6 "Anyone who sits where the man has sat must wash clothing and body and will be unclean untilevening.	6 El que se siente en un mueble donde se haya sentado ese hombre, deberá lavar su ropa y bañarse con agua, y será impuro hasta la tarde.
7 "Anyone who touches the body of the man with the discharge must wash clothing and body and wil beunclean until evening.	7 El que toque el cuerpo del hombre que tiene el flujo, deberá lavar su ropa y bañarse con agua, y será impuro hasta la tarde.
8 "If the man with the discharge spits on someone who is clean, that person must wash clothing andbody and wil be unclean until evening.	8 Si el enfermo escupe a una persona pura, esta deberá lavar su ropa y bañarse con agua, y será impura hasta la tarde.
9 "Any saddle the man has ridden on wil be unclean.	9 Toda montura sobre la que haya montado el enfermo, será impura.
10 "Al those who touch any object that has been under him wil be unclean until evening. "Anyone whopicks up such an object must wash clothing and body and wil be unclean until evening.	10 Cualquiera que toque algún objeto que haya estado debajo de él, será impuro hasta la tarde. Y el que transporte ese objeto, deberá lavar su ropa y bañarse con agua, y será impuro hasta la tarde.
11 "Al those whom the man with the discharge touches without having washed his hands must washclothing and body and wil be unclean until evening.	11 El que haya sido tocado por alguien que padece de ese flujo y no se haya lavado cuidadosamente las manos, deberá lavar su ropa y bañarse con agua, y será impuro hasta la tarde.
12 "The earthenware vessel he touches must be broken and any wooden utensil must be rinsed.	12 La vasija de barro que toque el enfermo deberá ser rota, y cualquier otro utensilio de madera deberá ser lavado con agua.
13 "Once the man with the discharge is cured, he will al ow seven days for his purification. He wil washhis clothes and wash his body in running water and he wil be clean.	13 Si el hombre que tiene el flujo se cura, contará siete días para su purificación. Entonces lavará su ropa, se bañará en el agua de un manantial, y será puro.
14 On the eighth day he wil take two turtledoves or two young pigeons and come before Yahweh at theentrance to the Tent of Meeting and give them to the priest.	14 Al octavo día, se procurará dos torcazas o dos pichones de paloma, irá a presentarse delante del Señor, a la entrada de la Carpa del encuentro, y los entregará al sacerdote.
15 The priest wil offer one of them as a sacrifice for sin and the other as a burnt offering. And in this waythe priest wil perform the rite of expiation for him before Yahweh for his discharge.	15 Este los ofrecerá, uno como sacrificio por el pecado y el otro como holocausto. De esta manera, el sacerdote practicará el rito de expiación delante del Señor, en favor de ese hombre, a causa de su flujo.
16 "When a man has a seminal discharge, he must wash his whole body with water and wil be uncleanuntil evening.	16 Si un hombre tiene una eyaculación, lavará con agua todo su cuerpo, y será impuro hasta la tarde.
17 Any clothing or leather touched by the seminal discharge must be washed and wil be unclean untilevening.	17 La ropa o el cuero sobre los que se haya derramado semen, deberá ser lavado con agua y será impuro hasta la tarde.
18 When a woman has had intercourse with a man, both of them must wash and wil be unclean untilevening.	18 Y si un hombre tiene relaciones sexuales con su mujer, los dos se bañarán con agua y serán impuros hasta la tarde.
19 "Whenever a woman has a discharge and the discharge from her body is of blood, she wil remain ina state of menstrual pol ution for seven days. "Anyone who touches her wil be unclean until evening.	19 Cuando una mujer tenga su menstruación, será impura durante siete días, y el que la toque será impuro hasta la tarde.
20 "Anything she lies on in this pol uted state will be unclean; anything she sits on wil be unclean.	20 Cualquier objeto sobre el que ella se recueste o se siente mientras dure su estado de impureza, será impuro.
21 "Anyone who touches her bed must wash clothing and body and wil be unclean until evening.	21 El que toque su lecho deberá lavar su ropa y bañarse con agua, y será impuro hasta la tarde.
22 "Anyone who touches anything she has sat on must wash clothing and body and will be unclean untilevening.	22 El que toque algún mueble sobre el que ella se sentado, deberá lavar su ropa y bañarse con agua, y será impuro hasta la tarde.
23 If there is anything on the bed or where she is sitting, anyone who touches it wil be unclean untilevening.	23 Si alguien toca un objeto que está sobre el lecho o sobre el mueble donde ella se sienta, será impuro hasta la tarde.
24 "If a man goes so far as to sleep with her, he wil contract her menstrual pollution and will be uncleanfor seven days. Any bed he lies on wil be unclean.	24 Si un hombre se acuesta con ella, la impureza de la mujer se transmite a él; será impuro durante siete días, y cualquier lecho sobre el que se acueste, será impuro.
25 "If a woman has a prolonged discharge of blood outside the period, or if the period is prolonged,during the time this discharge lasts she wil be in the same state of uncleanness as during her monthly periods.	25 Cuando una mujer tenga un flujo de sangre durante varios días, fuera del período menstrual, o cuando la menstruación se prolongue más de lo debido, será impura mientras dure el flujo, como lo es durante la menstruación.
26 Any bed she lies on during the time this discharge lasts will be pol uted in the same way as the bedshe lies on during her monthly periods. Anything she sits on wil be unclean as during her monthly periods.	26 Todo lecho en el que se acueste y todo mueble sobre el que se siente será impuro, lo mismo que durante el período menstrual.
27 Anyone who touches it wil be unclean and must wash clothing and body and will be unclean untilevening.	27 El que los toque será impuro: deberá lavar su ropa y bañarse con agua, y será impuro hasta la tarde.
28 "Once she is cured of her discharge, she will allow seven days to go by; after that she will be clean.	28 Una vez que cese el flujo, la mujer contará siete días, y después será pura.
29 On the eighth day she wil take two turtledoves or two young pigeons and bring them to the priest atthe entrance to the Tent of Meeting.	29 Al octavo día, conseguirá dos torcazas o dos pichones de paloma, y los presentará al sacerdotes, a la entrada de la Carpa del Encuentro.
30 The priest wil offer one of them as a sacrifice for sin and the other as a burnt offering. And in this waythe priest wil perform the rite of expiation for her before Yahweh for the discharge which made her unclean.	30 El sacerdote los ofrecerá, uno como sacrificio por el pecado y el otro como holocausto. De esta manera, practicará el rito de expiación delante del Señor, en favor de esa mujer, a causa de la impureza de su flujo.
31 "Hence you will warn the Israelites against contracting a state of uncleanness, rather than incurringdeath by defiling my Dwel ing which is among them.	31 Ustedes deberán prevenir a los israelitas sobre sus impurezas, a fin de que no mueran a causa de ellas, por haber manchado mi Morada, que está en medio de ellos.
32 "Such is the law governing a man with a discharge or who is made unclean by a seminal discharge,	32 Este es el ritual concerniente a la persona que padece de flujo: al que tiene una eyaculación y por eso incurre en impureza;
33 a woman in a state of pol ution due to menstruation, a man or a woman with a discharge, or a manwho sleeps with a woman when she is unclean." '	33 a la mujer indispuesta debido a su menstruación; al hombre o a la mujer que padecen de flujo; y al hombre que se acuesta con una mujer impura.
