Leviticus 15

NEW JERUSALEM	BIBLIA
1 Yahweh spoke to Moses and Aaron and said:	1 Yahveh habló a Moisés y Aarón diciendo:
2 'Speak to the Israelites and say to them: "When a man has a discharge from his body, that dischargeis unclean.	2 Hablad a los israelitas y decidles: Cualquier hombre que padece flujo seminal es impuro a causa del flujo.
3 While the discharge continues, the nature of his uncleanness is as fol ows: "Whether his body al owsthe discharge to flow or whether it retains it, he is unclean.	3 En esto consiste la impureza causada por su flujo: sea que su cuerpo deje destilar el flujo, o lo retenga, es impuro.
4 "Any bed the man lies on and anything he sits on wil be unclean.	4 Todo lecho en que duerma el que padece flujo será impuro y todo asiento en que se siente será impuro.
5 "Anyone who touches his bed must wash clothing and body and will be unclean until evening.	5 Quien toque su lecho lavará sus vestidos, se bañará en agua y quedará impuro hasta la tarde.
6 "Anyone who sits where the man has sat must wash clothing and body and will be unclean untilevening.	6 Quien se siente sobre un mueble donde se haya sentado cualquiera que padece flujo lavará sus vestidos, se bañará en agua y será impuro hasta la tarde.
7 "Anyone who touches the body of the man with the discharge must wash clothing and body and wil beunclean until evening.	7 Quien toque el cuerpo del que padece flujo lavará sus vestidos, se bañará en agua y será impuro hasta la tarde.
8 "If the man with the discharge spits on someone who is clean, that person must wash clothing andbody and wil be unclean until evening.	8 Si el que tiene flujo escupe sobre un hombre puro, éste lavará sus vestidos, se bañará en agua y quedará impuro hasta la tarde.
9 "Any saddle the man has ridden on wil be unclean.	9 Todo aparejo sobre el cual haya montado el que padece flujo será inmundo.
10 "Al those who touch any object that has been under him wil be unclean until evening. "Anyone whopicks up such an object must wash clothing and body and wil be unclean until evening.	10 Quien toque un objeto que haya estado debajo de él quedará impuro hasta la tarde. Y el que los lleve lavará sus vestidos, se bañará en agua y será impuro hasta la tarde.
11 "Al those whom the man with the discharge touches without having washed his hands must washclothing and body and wil be unclean until evening.	11 Todo aquel a quien toque el que padece flujo sin haberse lavado las manos con agua lavará sus vestidos, se bañará en agua y quedará impuro hasta la tarde.
12 "The earthenware vessel he touches must be broken and any wooden utensil must be rinsed.	12 Toda vasija de barro tocada por el que padece flujo será rota, y todo utensilio de madera será lavado con agua.
13 "Once the man with the discharge is cured, he will al ow seven days for his purification. He wil washhis clothes and wash his body in running water and he wil be clean.	13 Si el que padece flujo sana de él, se contarán siete días para su purificación; después lavará sus vestidos, se bañará en agua viva y quedará puro.
14 On the eighth day he wil take two turtledoves or two young pigeons and come before Yahweh at theentrance to the Tent of Meeting and give them to the priest.	14 Al día octavo tomará dos tórtolas o dos pichones y se presentará ante Yahveh a la entrada de la Tienda del Encuentro, para entregarlos al sacerdote.
15 The priest wil offer one of them as a sacrifice for sin and the other as a burnt offering. And in this waythe priest wil perform the rite of expiation for him before Yahweh for his discharge.	15 El sacerdote los ofrecerá, uno como sacrificio por el pecado, el otro como holocausto, y de esta manera el sacerdote hará expiación por él ante Yahveh, a causa de su flujo.
16 "When a man has a seminal discharge, he must wash his whole body with water and wil be uncleanuntil evening.	16 El hombre que tenga derrame seminal lavará con agua todo su cuerpo y quedará impuro hasta la tarde.
17 Any clothing or leather touched by the seminal discharge must be washed and wil be unclean untilevening.	17 Toda ropa y todo cuero sobre los cuales se haya derramado el semen serán lavados con agua y quedarán impuros hasta la tarde.
18 When a woman has had intercourse with a man, both of them must wash and wil be unclean untilevening.	18 Cuando una mujer se acueste con un hombre, produciéndose efusión de semen, se bañarán ambos con agua y quedarán impuros hasta la tarde.
19 "Whenever a woman has a discharge and the discharge from her body is of blood, she wil remain ina state of menstrual pol ution for seven days. "Anyone who touches her wil be unclean until evening.	19 La mujer que tiene flujo, el flujo de sangre de su cuerpo, permanecerá en su impureza por espacio de siete días. Y quien la toque será impuro hasta la tarde.
20 "Anything she lies on in this pol uted state will be unclean; anything she sits on wil be unclean.	20 Todo aquello sobre lo que se acueste durante su impureza quedará impuro; y todo aquello sobre lo que se siente quedará impuro.
21 "Anyone who touches her bed must wash clothing and body and wil be unclean until evening.	21 Quien toque su lecho lavará los vestidos, se bañará en agua y permanecerá impuro hasta la tarde.
22 "Anyone who touches anything she has sat on must wash clothing and body and will be unclean untilevening.	22 Quien toque un mueble cualquiera sobre el que ella se haya sentado lavará sus vestidos, se bañará en agua y será impuro hasta la tarde.
23 If there is anything on the bed or where she is sitting, anyone who touches it wil be unclean untilevening.	23 Quien toque algo que esté puesto sobre el lecho o sobre el mueble donde ella se sienta quedará impuro hasta la tarde.
24 "If a man goes so far as to sleep with her, he wil contract her menstrual pollution and will be uncleanfor seven days. Any bed he lies on wil be unclean.	24 Si uno se acuesta con ella se contamina de la impureza de sus reglas y queda impuro siete días; todo lecho en que él se acueste será impuro.
25 "If a woman has a prolonged discharge of blood outside the period, or if the period is prolonged,during the time this discharge lasts she wil be in the same state of uncleanness as during her monthly periods.	25 Cuando una mujer tenga flujo de sangre durante muchos días, fuera del tiempo de sus reglas o cuando sus reglas se prolonguen, quedará impura mientras dure el flujo de su impureza como en los días del flujo menstrual.
26 Any bed she lies on during the time this discharge lasts will be pol uted in the same way as the bedshe lies on during her monthly periods. Anything she sits on wil be unclean as during her monthly periods.	26 Todo lecho en que se acueste mientras dura su flujo será impuro como el lecho de la menstruación, y cualquier mueble sobre el que se siente quedará impuro como en la impureza de las reglas.
27 Anyone who touches it wil be unclean and must wash clothing and body and will be unclean untilevening.	27 Quien los toque quedará impuro y lavará sus vestidos, se bañará en agua u quedará impuro hasta la tarde.
28 "Once she is cured of her discharge, she will allow seven days to go by; after that she will be clean.	28 Una vez que ella sane de su flujo, contará siete días, quedando después pura.
29 On the eighth day she wil take two turtledoves or two young pigeons and bring them to the priest atthe entrance to the Tent of Meeting.	29 Al octavo día tomará para sí dos tórtolas o dos pichones y los presentará al sacerdote a la entrada de la Tienda del Encuentro.
30 The priest wil offer one of them as a sacrifice for sin and the other as a burnt offering. And in this waythe priest wil perform the rite of expiation for her before Yahweh for the discharge which made her unclean.	30 El sacerdote los ofrecerá uno como sacrificio por el pecado, el otro como holocausto; y hará expiación por ella ante Yahveh por la impureza de su flujo.
31 "Hence you will warn the Israelites against contracting a state of uncleanness, rather than incurringdeath by defiling my Dwel ing which is among them.	31 Mantendréis alejados a los israelitas de sus impurezas para que no mueran a causa de ellas por contaminar mi Morada, la que está en medio de ellos.
32 "Such is the law governing a man with a discharge or who is made unclean by a seminal discharge,	32 Esta es la ley relativa al hombre que padece flujo o que se hace impuro con efusión de semen,
33 a woman in a state of pol ution due to menstruation, a man or a woman with a discharge, or a manwho sleeps with a woman when she is unclean." '	33 a la indispuesta por el flujo menstrual, a aquel que padece flujo, sea varón o mujer, y a aquel que se acueste con una mujer en período de impureza.
