Leviticus 10

NEW JERUSALEM	KÁLDI-NEOVULGÁTA
1 Aaron's sons Nadab and Abihu each took his censer, put fire in it and incense on the fire, andpresented unauthorised fire before Yahweh, which was not in accordance with his orders.	1 Áron fiai, Nádáb és Ábiu pedig fogták a tömjénezőjüket, tüzet tettek bele, s füstölőszert rá, s idegen tüzet vittek az Úr elé, amit nem parancsolt nekik.
2 At this a flame leapt out from Yahweh's presence and swal owed them up, and they perished beforeYahweh.	2 Erre tűz jött ki az Úrtól és megemésztette őket, s meghaltak az Úr előtt.
3 Moses then said to Aaron, 'That is what Yahweh meant when he said: In those who are close to me Ishow my holiness, and before al the people I show my glory.' Aaron remained silent.	3 Azt mondta ekkor Mózes Áronnak: »Ez azt bizonyítja, amit az Úr mondott: ‘Megmutatom szentségemet azokon, akik hozzám közelítenek, s dicsőnek bizonyulok az egész nép előtt.’« – Amikor Áron ezt hallotta, hallgatott.
4 Moses summoned Mishael and Elzaphan, sons of Aaron's uncle Uzziel, and said to them, 'Come hereand take your brothers away from the sanctuary, out of the camp.'	4 Majd odaszólította Mózes Misaélt és Eliszafánt, Ozielnek, Áron atyai nagybátyjának fiait és azt mondta nekik: »Menjetek, szedjétek fel testvéreiteket a szentély elől, s vigyétek ki őket a táboron kívülre.«
5 They came and carried them away, still in their tunics, out of the camp, as Moses had said.	5 Azok tüstént odamentek, fogták őket, úgy, ahogy gyolcsköntösükben feküdtek, s kivitték őket, amint megparancsolta nekik.
6 Moses said to Aaron and his sons Eleazar and Ithamar, 'Do not disorder your hair or tear your clothes;or you may incur death and his retribution may overtake the whole community. No, it is for the entire House ofIsrael to lament your brothers who have been the victims of Yahweh's fire.	6 Így szólt aztán Mózes Áronhoz és fiaihoz, Eleazárhoz és Itamárhoz: »Fejeteket díszétől meg ne fosszátok, ruháitokat meg ne szaggassátok, hogy meg ne találjatok halni és harag ne zúduljon az egész közösségre. Testvéreitek, Izrael egész háza, sirassák meg a tűzvészt, amelyet az Úr támasztott,
7 To avoid incurring death, do not leave the entrance to the Tent of Meeting, for Yahweh's anointing oilis on you.' And they did as Moses said.	7 ti azonban ne távozzatok a sátor ajtajától, különben elvesztek, mert a szent kenet olaja van rajtatok.« – Azok mindenben Mózes parancsa szerint cselekedtek.
8 Yahweh spoke to Aaron and said:	8 Azt mondta erre az Úr Áronnak:
9 'When you come to the Tent of Meeting, you and your sons with you, to avoid incurring death you maynot drink wine or any other fermented liquor. This is a perpetual law for all your descendants.	9 »Bort vagy más részegítő italt ne igyatok, se te, se fiaid, ha a bizonyság sátorába mentek, hogy meg ne haljatok: örök parancs legyen ez nemzedékeitek számára,
10 And so shal it be also when you separate the sacred from the profane, the unclean from the clean,	10 hogy különbséget tudjatok tenni a szent és a közönséges, a tisztátalan és a tiszta között,
11 and when you teach the Israelites any of the decrees that Yahweh has pronounced for them throughMoses.'	11 s taníthassátok Izrael fiait valamennyi törvényemre, amelyet nekik az Úr Mózes által meghagyott.«
12 Moses said to Aaron and his surviving sons, Eleazar and Ithamar, 'Take the cereal offering left overfrom the food burnt for Yahweh. Eat the unleavened part of it beside the altar, since it is especial y holy.	12 Így szólt aztán Mózes Áronhoz és megmaradt fiaihoz, Eleazárhoz és Itamárhoz: »Vegyétek az ételáldozatot, amely fennmaradt az Úr tűzáldozatából és egyétek meg – kovász nélkül, az oltár mellett, mert szentséges az.
13 Eat it in the holy place, since it is the portion of the food burnt for Yahweh that is prescribed for youand your sons; this is the order I have received.	13 Egyétek meg szent helyen: neked, s fiaidnak jár az az Úr tűzáldozataiból, amint parancsolta nekem.
14 'You, your sons and daughters with you, wil eat in a clean place the forequarter offered and the thighpresented, for these have been given to you and your children as your due from the Israelites' communionsacrifices.	14 A felajánlott szegyet, s az adományul adott lapockát is egyétek meg és pedig tiszta helyen, te és fiaid meg lányaid veled, mert azok neked és gyermekeidnek járnak Izrael fiainak békeáldozataiból.
15 The thigh presented and the forequarter offered, once the fat has been burnt, revert to you and yoursons with you, after they have been presented before Yahweh with the gesture of offering, in virtue of aperpetual law as Yahweh has ordered.'	15 A lapockát meg a szegyet ugyanis felajánlották az oltáron elégetendő hájjal az Úr előtt, s ezek neked meg gyermekeidnek járnak, örök törvény alapján, amint az Úr parancsolta.«
16 Moses then enquired careful y about the goat offered as a sacrifice for sin, and found that they hadburnt it. He was angry with Eleazar and Ithamar, Aaron's surviving sons, and said,	16 Eközben, amikor Mózes a bűnért való áldozatul bemutatott kecskebakot kereste, rájött, hogy elégették. Megharagudott erre Eleazárra és Itamárra, Áron megmaradt fiaira és azt mondta:
17 'Why did you not eat this victim for sin in the holy place, since it is especial y holy and was given toyou to take away the community's guilt, by performing the rite of expiation for them before Yahweh?	17 »Miért nem ettétek meg a szent helyen a bűnért való áldozatot? Szentséges az és az Úr tinektek adta, hogy magatokra vegyétek a sokaság gonoszságát, s könyörögjetek érte az Úr színe előtt.
18 Since its blood was not taken inside the sanctuary, you should have eaten its meat there, as Iordered you.'	18 Hiszen ennek a véréből nem vittek be a szentélybe: meg kellett volna tehát ennetek a szent helyen, amint parancsolta nekem.«
19 Aaron said to Moses, 'Look, today they offered their sacrifice for sin and their burnt offering beforeYahweh, and these disasters have befal en me. If I had eaten the sin offering today, would this have met withYahweh's approval?'	19 Azt felelte Áron: »Ma mutatták be az Úr előtt a bűnért való áldozatot meg az egészen elégő áldozatot, amikor engem az ért, amit látsz: hogyan tudtam volna megenni, s hogy tetszhettem volna az Úrnak a szolgálatban keseredett szívvel!«
20 And when Moses heard this, he was satisfied.	20 Amikor ezt Mózes hallotta, elfogadta mentségül.
