Isaiah 52

NEW JERUSALEM	EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS
1 Awake, awake! Clothe yourself in strength, Zion. Put on your finest clothes, Jerusalem, Holy City; forthe uncircumcised and the unclean will enter you no more.	1 ¡Despierta, despierta, revístete de tu fuerza, Sión! ¡Vístete con tus vestidos más bellos, Jerusalén, Ciudad santa! Porque ya no entrarán más en ti el incircunciso ni el impuro.
2 Shake off your dust; get up, captive Jerusalem! The chains have fal en from your neck, captivedaughter of Jerusalem!	2 ¡Sacúdete el polvo, levántate, Jerusalén cautiva! ¡Desata las ataduras de tu cuello, hija de Sión cautiva!
3 For Yahweh says this, 'You were sold for nothing; you wil be redeemed without money.'	3 Porque así habla el Señor: Ustedes fueron vendidos por nada, y también sin dinero serán redimidos.
4 For the Lord Yahweh says this, 'Long ago my people went to Egypt and settled there as aliens; final yAssyria oppressed them for no reason.	4 Porque así habla el Señor: Mi Pueblo bajó primero a Egipto, para residir allí como extranjero, y luego Asiria lo oprimió sin razón.
5 So now what is to be done,' declares Yahweh, 'since my people have been carried off for nothing, theirmasters howl in triumph,' declares Yahweh, 'and my name is held in contempt all day, every day?	5 Y ahora, ¿qué tengo que hacer yo aquí –oráculo del Señor–, ya que mi Pueblo ha sido deportado por nada? Sus dominadores lanzan alaridos –oráculo del Señor– y todo el día, sin cesar, es despreciado mi Nombre.
6 Because of this my people wil know my name, because of this they will know when the day comes,that it is I saying, Here I am!'	6 Por eso mi Pueblo conocerá mi Nombre en ese día, porque yo soy aquel que dice: «¡Aquí estoy!».
7 How beautiful on the mountains, are the feet of the messenger announcing peace, of the messenger ofgood news, who proclaims salvation and says to Zion, 'Your God is king!'	7 ¡Qué hermosos son sobre las montañas los pasos del que trae la buena noticia, del que proclama la paz, del que anuncia la felicidad, del que proclama la salvación, y dice a Sión: «¡Tu Dios reina!».
8 The voices of your watchmen! Now they raise their voices, shouting for joy together, for with their owneyes they have seen Yahweh returning to Zion.	8 ¡Escucha! Tus centinelas levantan la voz, gritan todos juntos de alegría, porque ellos ven con sus propios ojos el regreso del Señor a Sión,
9 Break into shouts together, shouts of joy, you ruins of Jerusalem; for Yahweh has consoled his people, he has redeemed Jerusalem.	9 ¡Prorrumpan en gritos de alegría, ruinas de Jerusalén, porque el Señor consuela a su Pueblo, él redime a Jerusalén!
10 Yahweh has bared his holy arm for al the nations to see, and al the ends of the earth have seen thesalvation of our God.	10 El Señor desnuda su santo brazo a la vista de todas las naciones, verán la salvación de nuestro Dios.
11 Go away, go away, leave that place, do not touch anything unclean. Get out of her, purify yourselves,you who carry Yahweh's vessels!	11 ¡Retírense, retírense, salgan de aquí, no toquen nada impuro! ¡Salgan de en medio de ella, purifíquense, los que llevan los vasos del Señor!
12 For you are not to hurry away, you are not to leave like fugitives. No, Yahweh marches at your headand the God of Israel is your rearguard.	12 Porque no saldrán apresuradamente ni partirán como fugitivos, ya que al frente de ustedes irá el Señor, y en la retaguardia, el Dios de Israel.
13 Look, my servant will prosper, wil grow great, wil rise to great heights.	13 Sí, mi Servidor triunfará: será exaltado y elevado a una altura muy grande.
14 As many people were aghast at him -- he was so inhumanly disfigured that he no longer looked like aman-	14 así como muchos quedaron horrorizados a causa de él, porque estaba tan desfigurado que su aspecto no era el de un hombre y su apariencia no era más la de un ser humano,
15 so many nations wil be astonished and kings wil stay tight-lipped before him, seeing what had neverbeen told them, learning what they had not heard before.	15 así también él asombrará a muchas naciones, y ante él los reyes cerrarán la boca, porque verán lo que nunca se les había contado y comprenderán algo que nunca habían oído.
