Isaiah 52

NEW JERUSALEM	BIBLIA
1 Awake, awake! Clothe yourself in strength, Zion. Put on your finest clothes, Jerusalem, Holy City; forthe uncircumcised and the unclean will enter you no more.	1 ¡Despierta, despierta! ¡Revístete de tu fortaleza, Sión! ¡Vístete tus ropas de gala, Jerusalén, Ciudad Santa! Porque no volverán a entrar en ti incircuncisos ni impuros.
2 Shake off your dust; get up, captive Jerusalem! The chains have fal en from your neck, captivedaughter of Jerusalem!	2 Sacúdete el polvo, levántate, cautiva Jerusalén, Líbrate de las ligaduras de tu cerviz, cautiva hija de Sión.
3 For Yahweh says this, 'You were sold for nothing; you wil be redeemed without money.'	3 Porque así dice Yahveh: De balde fuisteis vendidos, y sin plata seréis rescatados.
4 For the Lord Yahweh says this, 'Long ago my people went to Egypt and settled there as aliens; final yAssyria oppressed them for no reason.	4 Sí, así dice el Señor Yahveh: A Egipto bajó mi pueblo en un principio, a ser forastero allí, y luego Asiria le oprimió sin motivo.
5 So now what is to be done,' declares Yahweh, 'since my people have been carried off for nothing, theirmasters howl in triumph,' declares Yahweh, 'and my name is held in contempt all day, every day?	5 Y ahora, ¿qué voy a hacer aquí - oráculo de Yahveh - pues mi pueblo ha sido arrebatado sin motivo? Sus dominadores profieren gritos - oráculo de Yahveh - y todo a lo largo del día mi nombre es blasfemado.
6 Because of this my people wil know my name, because of this they will know when the day comes,that it is I saying, Here I am!'	6 Por eso mi pueblo conocerá mi nombre en aquel día y comprenderá que yo soy el que decía: «Aquí estoy».
7 How beautiful on the mountains, are the feet of the messenger announcing peace, of the messenger ofgood news, who proclaims salvation and says to Zion, 'Your God is king!'	7 ¡Qué hermosos son sobre los montes los pies del mensajero que anuncia la paz, que trae buenas nuevas, que anuncia salvación, que dice a Sión: «Ya reina tu Dios!»
8 The voices of your watchmen! Now they raise their voices, shouting for joy together, for with their owneyes they have seen Yahweh returning to Zion.	8 ¡Una voz! Tus vigías alzan la voz, a una dan gritos de júbilo, porque con sus propios ojos ven el retorno de Yahveh a Sión.
9 Break into shouts together, shouts of joy, you ruins of Jerusalem; for Yahweh has consoled his people, he has redeemed Jerusalem.	9 Prorrumpid a una en gritos de júbilo, soledades de Jerusalén, porque ha consolado Yahveh a su pueblo, ha rescatado a Jerusalén.
10 Yahweh has bared his holy arm for al the nations to see, and al the ends of the earth have seen thesalvation of our God.	10 Ha desnudado Yahveh su santo brazo a los ojos de todas las naciones, y han visto todos los cabos de la tierra la salvación de nuestro Dios.
11 Go away, go away, leave that place, do not touch anything unclean. Get out of her, purify yourselves,you who carry Yahweh's vessels!	11 ¡Apartaos, apartaos, salid de allí! ¡Cosa impura no toquéis! ¡Salid de en medio de ella, manteneos limpios, portadores del ajuar de Yahveh!
12 For you are not to hurry away, you are not to leave like fugitives. No, Yahweh marches at your headand the God of Israel is your rearguard.	12 Pues sin prisa habréis de salir, no iréis a la desbandada, que va al frente de vosotros Yahveh, y os cierra la retaguardia el Dios de Israel.
13 Look, my servant will prosper, wil grow great, wil rise to great heights.	13 He aquí que prosperará mi Siervo, será enaltecido, levantado y ensalzado sobremanera.
14 As many people were aghast at him -- he was so inhumanly disfigured that he no longer looked like aman-	14 Así como se asombraron de él muchos - pues tan desfigurado tenía el aspecto que no parecía hombre, ni su apariencia era humana -
15 so many nations wil be astonished and kings wil stay tight-lipped before him, seeing what had neverbeen told them, learning what they had not heard before.	15 otro tanto se admirarán muchas naciones; ante él cerrarán los reyes la boca, pues lo que nunca se les contó verán, y lo que nunca oyeron reconocerán.
