2 God looks down from heaven at the children of Adam, to see if a single one is wise, a single oneseeks God.	2 quando vennero gli Zifei e dissero a Saul: «Non è forse David nascosto presso di noi?».
3 Al have proved faithless, al alike turned sour, not one of them does right, not a single one.	3 Signore, nel tuo nome salvami, e con la tua potenza fammi giustizia.
4 Are they not aware, these evil-doers? They are devouring my people; this is the bread they eat, andthey never call upon God.	4 O Dio, ascolta la mia preghiera, presta orecchio alle parole della mia bocca,
5 They wil be gripped with fear, just where there is no need for fear, for God scatters the bones of himwho besieges you; they are mocked because God rejects them.	5 perchè [nemici] stranieri sono insorti contro di me, e de' violenti cercan l'anima mia, e non han Dio dinanzi a' loro occhi.
6 Who wil bring from Zion salvation for Israel? When God brings his people home, what joy for Jacob,what happiness for Israel!	6 Ma ecco, Iddio m'aiuta, e il Signore è il difensore dell'anima mia.
	7 Rivolgi i mali sui miei nemicie nella tua fedeltà disperdili!
	8 Di buon grado offrirò a te sacrifizi, e darò lode al tuo nome, o Signore, perch'è buono.
	9 Giacchè, d'ogni tribolazione tu m'hai estratto, e su' miei nemici si posa con sprezzo l'occhio mio.
