1 [For the choirmaster In sickness Poem Of David] The fool has said in his heart, 'There is no God!'They are corrupt, vile and unjust, not one of them does right.	1 Sopra i cantici salmo di intelligenza di Davidde, essendo andati gli Zifei a dire a Saulle: Davidde non è egli nascosto nel nostro paese? Salvami, o Dio, pel tuo nome, colla tua potenza difendimi.
2 God looks down from heaven at the children of Adam, to see if a single one is wise, a single oneseeks God.	2 Esaudisci, o Dio, la mia orazione: porgi orecchie alle parole della mia bocca.
3 Al have proved faithless, al alike turned sour, not one of them does right, not a single one.	3 Imperocché uomini stranieri hanno alzato bandiera contro di me; e uomini potenti cercano l'anima mia, e non hanno avuto Dio dinanzi agli occhi loro.
4 Are they not aware, these evil-doers? They are devouring my people; this is the bread they eat, andthey never call upon God.	4 Ecco però, che Dio mi aiuta, e il Signore ha presa a difendere la mia vita.
5 They wil be gripped with fear, just where there is no need for fear, for God scatters the bones of himwho besieges you; they are mocked because God rejects them.	5 Ritorci il male sopra de' miei nemici, e dispergili secondo la tua verità.
6 Who wil bring from Zion salvation for Israel? When God brings his people home, what joy for Jacob,what happiness for Israel!	6 Ti offerirò sagrifizio volontario, e darò laude al nome tuo, o Signore, per ché buona cosa ell'è questa.
	7 Perocché da ogni tribolazione me hai liberato, e gli occhi miei con disprezzo han veduti li miei nemici.
