1 [For the choirmaster Poem Of the sons of Korah] As a deer yearns for running streams, so I yearn foryou, my God.	1 למנצח משכיל לבני קרח כאיל תערג על אפיקי מים כן נפשי תערג אליך אלהים
2 I thirst for God, the living God; when shal I go to see the face of God?	2 צמאה נפשי לאלהים לאל חי מתי אבוא ואראה פני אלהים
3 I have no food but tears day and night, as al day long I am taunted, 'Where is your God?'	3 היתה לי דמעתי לחם יומם ולילה באמר אלי כל היום איה אלהיך
4 This I remember as I pour out my heart, how I used to pass under the roof of the Most High used to goto the house of God, among cries of joy and praise, the sound of the feast.	4 אלה אזכרה ואשפכה עלי נפשי כי אעבר בסך אדדם עד בית אלהים בקול רנה ותודה המון חוגג
5 Why be so downcast, why all these sighs? Hope in God! I will praise him stil , my Saviour,	5 מה תשתוחחי נפשי ותהמי עלי הוחילי לאלהים כי עוד אודנו ישועות פניו
6 my God. When I am downcast I think of you: from the land of Jordan and Hermon, I think of you,humble mountain.	6 אלהי עלי נפשי תשתוחח על כן אזכרך מארץ ירדן וחרמונים מהר מצער
7 Deep is cal ing to deep by the roar of your cataracts, al your waves and breakers have rolled over me.	7 תהום אל תהום קורא לקול צנוריך כל משבריך וגליך עלי עברו
8 In the daytime God sends his faithful love, and even at night; the song it inspires in me is a prayer tomy living God.	8 יומם יצוה יהוה חסדו ובלילה שירה עמי תפלה לאל חיי
9 I shal say to God, my rock, 'Why have you forgotten me? Why must I go around in mourning,harrassed by the enemy?'	9 אומרה לאל סלעי למה שכחתני למה קדר אלך בלחץ אויב
10 With death in my bones, my enemies taunt me, al day long they ask me, 'Where is your God?'	10 ברצח בעצמותי חרפוני צוררי באמרם אלי כל היום איה אלהיך
11 Why so downcast, why al these sighs? Hope in God! I wil praise him stil , my Saviour, my God.	11 מה תשתוחחי נפשי ומה תהמי עלי הוחילי לאלהים כי עוד אודנו ישועת פני ואלהי
