1 [For the choirmaster For strings For the octachord Psalm Of David] Yahweh, let your rebuke to me notbe in anger, your punishment not in the heat of wrath.	1 לַמְנַצֵּחַ בִּנְגִינֹות עַל־הַשְּׁמִינִית מִזְמֹור לְדָוִד
2 Have pity on me, Yahweh, for I am fading away. Heal me, Yahweh, my bones are shaken,	2 יְהוָה אַל־בְּאַפְּךָ תֹוכִיחֵנִי וְאַל־בַּחֲמָתְךָ תְיַסְּרֵנִי
3 my spirit is shaken to its very depths. But you, Yahweh . . . how long?	3 חָנֵּנִי יְהוָה כִּי אֻמְלַל אָנִי רְפָאֵנִי יְהוָה כִּי נִבְהֲלוּ עֲצָמָי
4 Yahweh, relent and save my life rescue me because of your faithful love,	4 וְנַפְשִׁי נִבְהֲלָה מְאֹד [וְאַתְּ כ] (וְאַתָּה ק) יְהוָה עַד־מָתָי
5 for in death there is no remembrance of you; who could sing your praises in Sheol?	5 שׁוּבָה יְהוָה חַלְּצָה נַפְשִׁי הֹושִׁיעֵנִי לְמַעַן חַסְדֶּךָ
6 I am worn out with groaning, every night I drench my pil ow and soak my bed with tears.	6 כִּי אֵין בַּמָּוֶת זִכְרֶךָ בִּשְׁאֹול מִי יֹודֶה־לָּךְ
7 My eyes waste away with vexation. Arrogance from al my foes!	7 יָגַעְתִּי ׀ בְּאַנְחָתִי אַשְׂחֶה בְכָל־לַיְלָה מִטָּתִי בְּדִמְעָתִי עַרְשִׂי אַמְסֶה
8 Away from me, al evil-doers! For Yahweh has heard the sound of my weeping,	8 עָשְׁשָׁה מִכַּעַס עֵינִי עָתְקָה בְּכָל־צֹורְרָי
9 Yahweh has heard my pleading. Yahweh wil accept my prayer.	9 סוּרוּ מִמֶּנִּי כָּל־פֹּעֲלֵי אָוֶן כִּי־שָׁמַע יְהוָה קֹול בִּכְיִי
10 Let al my enemies be put to confusion, shaken to their depths, let them retreat in sudden confusion.	10 שָׁמַע יְהוָה תְּחִנָּתִי יְהוָה תְּפִלָּתִי יִקָּח
	11 יֵבֹשׁוּ ׀ וְיִבָּהֲלוּ מְאֹד כָּל־אֹיְבָי יָשֻׁבוּ יֵבֹשׁוּ רָגַע
	12 וְרִחַק יְהוָה אֶת־הָאָדָם וְרַבָּה הָעֲזוּבָה בְּקֶרֶב הָאָרֶץ
	13 וְעֹוד בָּהּ עֲשִׂרִיָּה וְשָׁבָה וְהָיְתָה לְבָעֵר כָּאֵלָה וְכָאַלֹּון אֲשֶׁר בְּשַׁלֶּכֶת מַצֶּבֶת בָּם זֶרַע קֹדֶשׁ מַצַּבְתָּהּ׃ פ
