Exodus 36

NEW JERUSALEM	EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS
1 'Bezalel, Oholiab and al the men whom Yahweh has endowed with the skil and knowledge to knowhow to carry out al the work to be done on the sanctuary, wil do exactly as Yahweh has ordered.'	1 Besalel, Oholiab y todos los artesanos a quienes el Señor había dotado de habilidad y talento para realizar con inteligencia los trabajos del Santuario, hicieron todo lo que el Señor había ordenado.
2 Moses then summoned Bezalel, Oholiab and al the skil ed men whose hearts Yahweh had endowedwith skil , al whose heart stirred them to come forward and do the work.	2 Moisés convocó a Besalel, a Oholiab y a todos los artesanos, a quienes el Señor había dotado de habilidad y que se habían prestado a colaborar en la ejecución de esa tarea.
3 From Moses they received everything that the Israelites had brought as contributions for carrying outthe work of building the sanctuary, and, as they went on bringing their offerings every morning,	3 Ellos recibieron de Moisés las ofrendas que los israelitas habían presentado para los diversos trabajos del Santuario. Entretanto, cada mañana los israelitas seguían trayendo a Moisés ofrendas voluntarias.
4 the skil ed men who were doing all the work for the sanctuary, al left their particular work	4 Pero los artesanos que realizaban todo el trabajo del Santuario, abandonando momentáneamente sus respectivas ocupaciones,
5 and said to Moses, 'The people are bringing more than is needed for the work Yahweh has ordered tobe done.'	5 fueron a decir a Moisés: «El pueblo aporta más de lo que se necesita para ejecutar la tarea que el Señor ha mandado».
6 Moses then gave the order and proclamation was made throughout the camp, 'No one, whether manor woman, must do anything more towards contributing for the sanctuary.' So the people were prevented frombringing any more,	6 Entonces Moisés ordenó que se hiciera correr esta consigna a través del campamento: «Que nadie, sea hombre o mujer, siga preparando materiales para presentarlos como ofrenda». Así el pueblo se abstuvo de hacer nuevos donativos,
7 for the material to hand was enough, and more than enough, to complete al the work.	7 porque los materiales aportados ya eran más que suficientes para realizar todo el trabajo.
8 Al the most skil ed of the men doing the work made the Dwelling. Moses made it with ten sheets offinely woven linen, dyed violet-purple, red-purple and crimson and embroidered with great winged creatures.	8 Los artesanos más expertos hicieron la Morada con diez cortinados de lino fino reforzado, de púrpura violeta y escarlata y de carmesí, y con figuras de querubines bordadas artísticamente.
9 The length of a single sheet was twenty-eight cubits, its width four cubits, al the sheets being of thesame size.	9 Cada cortinado medía catorce metros de largo por dos de ancho; todos tenían las mismas dimensiones.
10 He joined five of the sheets to one another, and the other five sheets to one another.	10 unieron entre sí cinco cortinados, y lo mismo hicieron con los otro cinco.
11 He made violet loops along the edge of the first sheet, at the end of the set, and did the same alongthe edge of the last sheet in the other set.	11 Luego pusieron unas presillas de púrpura violeta en los dos últimos cortinados de cada conjunto,
12 He made fifty loops on the first sheet and fifty loops along the outer edge of the sheet of the secondset, the loops corresponding to one another.	12 cincuenta presillas en uno y cincuenta en el otro, correspondiéndose mutuamente.
13 He made fifty gold clasps and joined the sheets together with the clasps. In this way the Dwel ing wasa unified whole.	13 Después forjaron cincuenta ganchos de oro, y con ellos unieron los cortinados entre sí, de manera que la Morada formó un todo.
14 Next he made sheets of goats' hair for the tent over the Dwel ing; he made eleven of these.	14 También confeccionaron once toldos de pelo de cabra, para cubrir la Morada a manera de carpa.
15 The length of a single sheet was thirty cubits and its width four cubits; the eleven sheets were al ofthe same size.	15 Cada toldo medía quince metros de largo por dos de ancho; los once tenían la misma medida.
16 He joined five sheets together into one set and six sheets into another.	16 Luego unieron separadamente cinco de un lado y seis del otro;
17 He made fifty loops along the edge of the last sheet of the first set, and fifty loops along the edge ofthe sheet of the second set.	17 pusieron cincuenta presillas en el borde de los dos últimos toldos de cada conjunto,
18 He made fifty bronze clasps, to draw the tent together and make it a unified whole.	18 y forjaron cincuenta ganchos de bronce: así unieron la carpa, de manera que formara un todo.
19 And for the tent he made a cover of rams' skins dyed red, and a cover of fine leather over that.	19 Después hicieron para la carpa una cobertura de cueros de carnero teñidos de rojo, y otra cobertura de pieles finas para ponerla encima.
20 For the Dwelling he made vertical frames of acacia wood.	20 También hicieron los bastidores para sostener la Morada. Los construyeron con madera de acacia, y los dispusieron verticalmente.
21 Each frame was ten cubits long and one and a half cubits wide.	21 Cada bastidor medía cinco metros de largo por setenta y cinco centímetros de ancho,
22 Each frame had twin tenons; this was how he made al the frames for the Dwelling.	22 y tenía dos espigones ensamblados uno con el otro. Todos fueron hechos de la misma forma.
23 He made frames for the Dwel ing: twenty frames for the south side, to the south,	23 Hicieron veinte de estos bastidores para el lado sur de la Morada, el que da hacia el Négueb,
24 and made forty silver sockets under the twenty frames, two sockets under one frame for its twotenons, two sockets under the next frame for its two tenons;	24 y debajo de ellos pusieron cuarenta bases de plata, o sea, dos bases debajo de cada bastidor, una para cada espigón.
25 and for the other side of the Dwel ing, the north side, twenty frames	25 Para el otro costado de la Morada, el lado septentrional, hicieron también veinte bastidores
26 and forty silver sockets, two sockets under one frame, two sockets under the next frame.	26 con sus cuarenta bases de plata, dos debajo de cada bastidor.
27 For the back of the Dwel ing, on the west, he made six frames.	27 Para el fondo de la Morada, hacia el oeste, hicieron seis bastidores,
28 He also made two frames for the corners at the back of the Dwel ing;	28 más otros dos para los ángulos de la parte posterior de la Morada,
29 these were coupled together at the bottom, staying so up to the top, to the level of the first ring; thishe did with the two frames forming the two corners.	29 que estaban unidos de abajo hacia arriba, hasta la altura de la primera argolla. Así lo hicieron con los dos bastidores destinados a los dos ángulos.
30 Thus there were eight frames with their sixteen silver sockets; two sockets under each frame.	30 Había, por lo tanto, ocho bastidores con sus bases de plata, o sea, dieciséis bases, dos para cada bastidor.
31 He made crossbars of acacia wood: five for the frames of the first side of the Dwel ing,	31 Luego hicieron cinco travesaños de madera de acacia para mantener alineados los bastidores que estaban a un lado de la Morada,

33 He made the middle bar, to join the frames from one end to the other, halfway up.	33 Y el travesaño central lo hicieron de tal manera que pudiera pasar a media altura de los bastidores, de un extremo hasta el otro.
34 He overlaid the frames with gold, made gold rings for them, through which to place the crossbars,and overlaid the crossbars with gold.	34 Finalmente, recubrieron de oro los bastidores, les pusieron unas argollas de oro para pasar por ellas los travesaños, y también a estos últimos los recubrieron de oro.
35 He made a curtain of finely woven linen, dyed violet-purple, red-purple and crimson and embroideredwith great winged creatures,	35 Hicieron, además, el velo de púrpura violeta y escarlata, de carmesí y de lino fino reforzado, y lo adornaron con figuras de querubines diseñadas artísticamente,
36 and for it he made four poles of acacia wood, overlaying them with gold, with golden hooks for them,for which he cast four sockets of silver.	36 Para colgarlo, hicieron cuatro columnas de madera de acacia revestidas de oro y provistas de ganchos de oro, que apoyaron sobre cuatro bases de plata fundida.
37 For the entrance to the tent he made a screen of finely woven linen embroidered with violet-purple,red-purple and crimson,	37 Hicieron, asimismo, para la entrada de la carpa, una cortina de púrpura violeta y escarlata, de carmesí y de lino fino reforzado, todo esto recamado artísticamente,
38 as also the five columns for it and their hooks; he overlaid their capitals and rods with gold, but theirfive sockets were of bronze.	38 y la sostuvieron con cinco columnas provistas de cinco ganchos. Luego revistieron de oro los capiteles y las varillas de las columnas, y las apoyaron sobre cinco bases de bronce.
