NEW JERUSALEM	SMITH VAN DYKE
1 Thus, al Israel's official genealogies had been entered in the records of the kings of Israel and Judahbefore they were deported to Babylon for their infidelity.	1 وانتسب كل اسرائيل وها هم مكتوبون في سفر ملوك اسرائيل. وسبي يهوذا الى بابل لاجل خيانتهم.
2 Now the first citizens to return to their property in their cities were the Israelites, the priests, the Levitesand the temple slaves.	2 والسكان الاولون في ملكهم ومدنهم هم اسرائيل الكهنة واللاويون والنثينيم.
3 In Jerusalem, there settled Judaeans, Benjaminites, Ephraimites and Manassehites.	3 وسكن في اورشليم من بني يهوذا وبني بنيامين وبني افرايم ومنسّى
4 Uthai son of Ammihud, son of Omri, son of Imri, son of Bani, one of the sons of Perez son of Judah.	4 عوثاي بن عميهود بن عمري بن إمري بن باني من بني فارص بن يهوذا.
5 Of the descendants of Shelah: Asaiah, the first-born, and his sons.	5 ومن الشيلونيين عسايا البكر وبنوه.
6 Of the sons of Zerah: Jeuel. And six hundred and ninety of their kinsmen.	6 ومن بني زارح يعوئيل واخوتهم ست مئة وتسعون.
7 And of the sons of Benjamin: Sal u son of Meshul am, son of Hodaviah, son of Hassenuah;	7 ومن بني بنيامين سلّو بن مشلام بن هودويا بن هسنواة
8 Ibneiah son of Jeroham; Elah son of Uzzi, son of Michri; and Meshul am son of Shephatiah, son ofReuel, son of Ibnijah.	8 ويبنيا بن يروحام وايلة بن عزي بن مكري ومشلام بن شفطيا بن رعوئيل بن يبنيا.
9 Their kinsmen, according to their relationship, numbered nine hundred and fifty-six. Al these men werechiefs of their families.	9 واخوتهم حسب مواليدهم تسع مئة وستة وخمسون. كل هؤلاء الرجال رؤوس آباء لبيوت آبائهم
10 Of the priests there were Jedaiah, Jehoiarib, Jachin,	10 ومن الكهنة يدعيا ويهوياريب وياكين
11 Azariah son of Hilkiah, son of Meshul am, son of Zadok, son of Meraioth, son of Ahitub, the chief ofthe Temple of God;	11 وعزريا بن حلقيا بن مشلام بن صادوق بن مرايوث بن اخيطوب رئيس بيت الله
12 Adaiah son of Jeroham, son of Pashhur, son of Malchijah; and Maasai son of Adiel, son of Jahzerah,son of Meshullam, son of Meshil emith, son of Immer.	12 وعدايا بن يروحام بن فشحور بن ملكيا ومعساي بن عديئيل بن يحزيره بن مشلام بن مشلّيميت بن إمّير
13 Their kinsmen, heads of families, numbered one thousand seven hundred and sixty-men expert in theministerial service of the Temple of God.	13 واخوتهم رؤوس بيوت آبائهم الف وسبع مئة وستون جبابرة بأس لعمل خدمة بيت الله.
14 Of the Levites there were Shemaiah son of Hasshub, son of Azrikam, son of Hashabiah of the sons ofMerari,	14 ومن اللاويين شمعيا بن حشّوب بن عزريقام بن حشبيا من بني مراري.
15 Bakbakar, Heresh, Galai, Mattaniah son of Mica, son of Zichri, son of Asaph.	15 وبقبقّر وحرش وجلال ومتنيا بن ميخا بن زكري بن آساف
16 Obadiah son of Shemaiah, son of Galal, son of Jeduthun and Berechiah son of Asa, son of Elkanah,who lived in the dependencies of the Netophathites.	16 وعوبديا بن شمعيا بن جلال بن يدوثون وبرخيا بن آسا بن القانة الساكن في قرى النطوفاتيين.
17 The gatekeepers were Shal um, Akkub, Talmon, Ahiman and their kinsmen. Shal um was the chief	17 والبوابون شلّوم وعقّوب وطلمون واخيمان واخوتهم. شلوم الراس.
18 and is stil gatekeeper of the King's Gate to the east. They were the gatekeepers of the camps of thesons of Levi.	18 وحتى الآن هم في باب الملك الى الشرق. هم البوابون لفرق بني لاوي.
19 Shallum son of Kore, son of Ebiasaph, son of Korah, and his brothers belonging to his family, theKorahites, were also in charge of the ministerial service as doorkeepers of the Tent, as their ancestors had beenkeepers of the entrance to the camp of Yahweh.	19 وشلوم بن قوري بن ابياساف بن قورح واخوته لبيوت آبائه. القورحيون على عمل الخدمة حراس ابواب الخيمة وآباؤهم على محلّة الرب حراس المدخل.
20 Formerly, Phinehas son of Eleazar had been in charge of them -- Yahweh be with him!	20 وفينحاس بن العازار كان رئيسا عليهم سابقا والرب معه.
21 Zechariah son of Meshelemiah was gatekeeper at the door of the Tent of Meeting.	21 وزكريا بن مشلميا كان بواب باب خيمة الاجتماع.
22 Al the keepers of the gate at the thresholds were picked men; there were two hundred and twelve ofthem. They were grouped by relationship in their various vil ages. These were confirmed in office by David and Samuel the seer because of their dependability.	22 جميع هؤلاء المنتخبين بوابين للابواب مئتان واثنا عشر وقد انتسبوا حسب قراهم. اقامهم داود وصموئيل الرائي على وظائفهم.
23 They and their sons continued in charge as guards of the gates of the Temple of Yahweh, the houseof the Tent.	23 وكانوا هم وبنوهم على ابواب بيت الرب بيت الخيمة للحراسة.
24 The gatekeepers were assigned to the four sides, east, west, north and south,	24 في الجهات الاربع كان البوابون في الشرق والغرب والشمال والجنوب
25 and their brothers in their vil ages were required to assist them from time to time for a week,	25 وكان اخوتهم في قراهم للمجيء معهم في السبعة الايام حينا بعد حين.
26 since the four head gatekeepers were permanently on duty. They were Levites and were in charge ofthe accommodation and supplies of the Temple of God.	26 لانه بالوظيفة رؤساء البوابين هؤلاء الاربعة هم لاويون وكانوا على المخادع وعلى خزائن بيت الله.
27 They spent the night in the precincts of the Temple of God, their duties being to guard it and open itevery morning.	27 ونزلوا حول بيت الله لان عليهم الحراسة وعليهم الفتح كل صباح.
28 Some of them were in charge of the implements of worship, having to count them when they tookthem out and when they put them away.	28 وبعضهم على آنية الخدمة لانهم كانوا يدخلونها بعدد ويخرجونها بعدد.
29 Others of them were put in charge of the implements, of al the objects in the sanctuary and of theflour, the wine, the oil, the incense and the perfume.	29 وبعضهم اؤتمنوا على الآنية وعلى كل امتعة القدس وعلى الدقيق والخمر والزيت واللبان والاطياب.
30 Members of the priestly caste, however, mixed the ointment for the perfume.	30 والبعض من بني الكهنة كانوا يركّبون دهون الاطياب.
31 One of the Levites, Mattithiah -- he was the first-born of Shal um the Korahite -- had regular charge ofbaking operations.	31 ومتثيا واحد من اللاويين وهو بكر شلوم القورحي بالوظيفة على عمل المطبوخات.
32 Some of their kinsmen the Kohathites were responsible for the loaves to be set out in rows Sabbathby Sabbath.	32 والبعض من بني القهاتيين من اخوتهم على خبز الوجوه ليهيئوه في كل سبت.
33 In addition, there were the singers, the heads of the levitical families, who were accommodated in theTemple, free of other responsibilities because they were on duty day and night.	33 فهؤلاء هم المغنون رؤوس آباء اللاويين في المخادع وهم معفون لانه نهارا وليلا عليهم العمل.
34 Such were the chiefs of the levitical families, according to their relationship; these lived in Jerusalem.	34 هؤلاء رؤوس آباء اللاويين. حسب مواليدهم رؤوس. هؤلاء سكنوا في اورشليم
35 Jeiel father of Gibeon lived at Gibeon and his wife was cal ed Maacah.	35 وفي جبعون سكن ابو جبعون يعوئيل واسم امرأته معكة.
36 His first-born son was Abdon, then Zur, Kish, Baal, Ner, Nadab,	36 وابنه البكر عبدون ثم صور وقيس وبعل ونير وناداب
37 Gedor, Ahio, Zechariah and Mikloth.	37 وحدور واخيو وزكريا ومقلوث.
38 Mikloth fathered Shimeam. But they, unlike their brothers, lived at Jerusalem with their brothers.	38 ومقلوث ولد شمآم. وهم ايضا سكنوا مقابل اخوتهم في اورشليم مع اخوتهم.
39 Ner fathered Kish, Kish fathered Saul, Saul fathered Jonathan, Malchishua, Abinadab and Eshbaal.	39 ونير ولد قيس وقيس ولد شاول وشاول ولد يهوناثان وملكيشوع وابيناداب واشبعل.
40 Son of Jonathan: Meribbaal. Meribbaal fathered Micah.	40 وابن يهوناثان مريببعل ومريببعل ولد ميخا.
41 Sons of Micah: Pithon, Melech, Tahrea.	41 وبنو ميخا فيثون ومالك وتحريع وآحاز.
42 Ahaz fathered Jarah, Jarah fathered Alemeth, Azmaveth and Zimri; Zimri fathered Moza,	42 وآحاز ولد يعرة ويعرة ولد علمث وعزموت وزمري. وزمري ولد موصا
43 Moza fathered Binea, Rephaiah his son, Eleasah his son and Azel his son.	43 وموصا ولد بنعا ورفايا ابنه والعسة ابنه وآصيل ابنه.
44 Azel had six sons; their names were these: Azrikam his first-born, Ishmael, Sheariah, Obadiah,Hanan. These were the sons of Azel.	44 وكان لآصيل ستة بنين وهذه اسماؤهم. عزريقام وبكرو ثم اسماعيل وشعريا وعوبديا وحانان. هؤلاء بنو آصيل
