NEW JERUSALEM	BIBLIA
1 Thus, al Israel's official genealogies had been entered in the records of the kings of Israel and Judahbefore they were deported to Babylon for their infidelity.	1 Todos los israelitas estaban registrados en las genealogías e inscritos en el libro de los reyes de Israel y de Judá, cuando fueron deportados a Babilonia por sus infidelidades.
2 Now the first citizens to return to their property in their cities were the Israelites, the priests, the Levitesand the temple slaves.	2 Los primeros que volvieron a habitar en sus propiedades y ciudades fueron israelitas, sacerdotes, levitas y donados.
3 In Jerusalem, there settled Judaeans, Benjaminites, Ephraimites and Manassehites.	3 En Jerusalén habitaron hijos de Judá, hijos de Benjamín, hijos de Efraím y de Mamassés.
4 Uthai son of Ammihud, son of Omri, son of Imri, son of Bani, one of the sons of Perez son of Judah.	4 Utay, hijo de Ammihúd, hijo de Omrí, hijo de Imrí, hijo de Baní, de los hijos de Peres, hijo de Judá.
5 Of the descendants of Shelah: Asaiah, the first-born, and his sons.	5 De los silonitas: Asaías, el primogénito, y sus hijos.
6 Of the sons of Zerah: Jeuel. And six hundred and ninety of their kinsmen.	6 De los hijos de Zéraj: Yeuel y sus hermanos: 690.

11 Azariah son of Hilkiah, son of Meshul am, son of Zadok, son of Meraioth, son of Ahitub, the chief ofthe Temple of God;	11 Azarías, hijo de Jilquías, hijo de Mesullam, hijo de Sadoq, hijo de Merayot, hijo de Ajitub, príncipe de la Casa de Dios.
12 Adaiah son of Jeroham, son of Pashhur, son of Malchijah; and Maasai son of Adiel, son of Jahzerah,son of Meshullam, son of Meshil emith, son of Immer.	12 Adaías, hijo de Yerojam, hijo de Pasjur, hijo de Malkías; Masay, hijo de Adiel, hijo de Yajzerá, hijo de Mesullam, hijo de Mesillemit, hijo de Immer;
13 Their kinsmen, heads of families, numbered one thousand seven hundred and sixty-men expert in theministerial service of the Temple of God.	13 y sus hermanos, jefes de sus casas paternas: 1.760 hombres aptos para los ejercicios del culto de la Casa de Dios.

16 Obadiah son of Shemaiah, son of Galal, son of Jeduthun and Berechiah son of Asa, son of Elkanah,who lived in the dependencies of the Netophathites.	16 Abdías, hijo de Semaías, hijo de Galal, hijo de Yedutún; y Berekías, hijo de Asá, hijo de Elcaná, que habitaban en los poblados de los netofatíes.
17 The gatekeepers were Shal um, Akkub, Talmon, Ahiman and their kinsmen. Shal um was the chief	17 Los porteros: Sallum, Aqcub, Talmón, Ajimán y sus hermanos. Sallum era el jefe;
18 and is stil gatekeeper of the King's Gate to the east. They were the gatekeepers of the camps of thesons of Levi.	18 y están hasta el presente junto a la puerta del rey, al oriente. Estos son los porteros del campamento de los hijos de Leví:
19 Shallum son of Kore, son of Ebiasaph, son of Korah, and his brothers belonging to his family, theKorahites, were also in charge of the ministerial service as doorkeepers of the Tent, as their ancestors had beenkeepers of the entrance to the camp of Yahweh.	19 Sallum, hijo de Qoré, hijo de Ebyasaf, hijo de Coré, y sus hermanos los coreítas, de la misma casa paterna, tenían el servicio del culto como guardianes de los umbrales de la Tienda, pues sus padres habían tenido a su cargo la guardia de acceso al campamento de Yahveh.
20 Formerly, Phinehas son of Eleazar had been in charge of them -- Yahweh be with him!	20 Antiguamente había sido su jefe Pinjás, hijo de Eleazar, con el que estaba Yahveh.
21 Zechariah son of Meshelemiah was gatekeeper at the door of the Tent of Meeting.	21 Zacarías, hijo de Meselemías, era portero de la entrada de la Tienda del Encuentro.
22 Al the keepers of the gate at the thresholds were picked men; there were two hundred and twelve ofthem. They were grouped by relationship in their various vil ages. These were confirmed in office by David and Samuel the seer because of their dependability.	22 El total de los elegidos para porteros era de 212, y estaban inscritos en sus problados. 28 Some of them were in charge of the implements of worship, having to count them when they tookthem out and when they put them away.	28 Unos tenían el cuidado de los utensilios del culto, y los contaban al meterlos y al sacarlos.
29 Others of them were put in charge of the implements, of al the objects in the sanctuary and of theflour, the wine, the oil, the incense and the perfume.	29 Otros estaban encargados de los utensilios y de todos los instrumentos del Santuario, de la flor de harina, el vino, el aceite, el incienso y los aromas.
30 Members of the priestly caste, however, mixed the ointment for the perfume.	30 Los que hacían la mezcla para los aromas eran sacerdotes.
31 One of the Levites, Mattithiah -- he was the first-born of Shal um the Korahite -- had regular charge ofbaking operations.	31 Mattitías, uno de los levitas, primogénito de Sallum el coreíta, estaba al cuidado constante de las cosas que se freían en sartén.

35 Jeiel father of Gibeon lived at Gibeon and his wife was cal ed Maacah.	35 En Gabaón moraban el padre de Gabaón, Yeiel, cuya mujer se llamaba Maaká
36 His first-born son was Abdon, then Zur, Kish, Baal, Ner, Nadab,	36 y Abdón su hijo primogénito; después, Sur, Quis, Báal, Ner, Nadab,
37 Gedor, Ahio, Zechariah and Mikloth.	37 Guedor, Ajyó, Zacarías y Miqlot.
38 Mikloth fathered Shimeam. But they, unlike their brothers, lived at Jerusalem with their brothers.	38 Miqlot engendró a Simam. También éstos habitaron en Jerusalén junto a sus hermanos y en unión con éstos.
39 Ner fathered Kish, Kish fathered Saul, Saul fathered Jonathan, Malchishua, Abinadab and Eshbaal.	39 Ner engendró a Quis, Quis engendró a Saúl, Saúl engendró a Jonatán, Malki Súa, Abínadab y Esbáal.
40 Son of Jonathan: Meribbaal. Meribbaal fathered Micah.	40 Hijo de Jonatán: Merib Báal. Merib Báal engendró a Miká.
41 Sons of Micah: Pithon, Melech, Tahrea.	41 Hijos de Miká: Pitón, Mélek, Tajrea.
42 Ahaz fathered Jarah, Jarah fathered Alemeth, Azmaveth and Zimri; Zimri fathered Moza,	42 Ajaz engendró a Yará, Yará engendró a Alémet, Azmavet y Zimrí. Zimrí engendró a Mosá.
43 Moza fathered Binea, Rephaiah his son, Eleasah his son and Azel his son.	43 Mosá engendró a Binná. Refaías, hijo suyo: Elasá, hijo suyo; Asel, hijo suyo.
44 Azel had six sons; their names were these: Azrikam his first-born, Ishmael, Sheariah, Obadiah,Hanan. These were the sons of Azel.	44 Asel tuvo seis hijos, cuyos nombres son: Azricam, su primogénito, Ismael, Searías, Obadías y Janán. Estos fueron los hijos de Asel.
