Ezekiel 7

1 Thus the word of the LORD came to me:	1 La palabra del Señor me llegó en estos términos:
2 Son of man, now say: Thus says the Lord GOD to the land of Israel: An end! The end has come upon the four corners of the land!	2 Y tú, hijo de hombre, di: Así habla el Señor a la tierra de Israel: ¡Es el fin! Llega el fin sobre los cuatro extremos del país.
3 Now the end is upon you; I will unleash my anger against you and judge you according to your conduct and lay upon you the consequences of all your abominations.	3 ¡Ya ha llegado tu fin! Voy a derramar mi ira sobre ti, te juzgaré según tu conducta y haré recaer sobre ti todas tus abominaciones.
4 I will not look upon you with pity nor have mercy; I will bring your conduct down upon you, and the consequences of your abominations shall be in your midst; then shall you know that I am the LORD.	4 No te miraré con piedad y no me compadeceré, porque haré recaer sobre ti tu mala conducta, y tus abominaciones persistirán en medio de ti: así ustedes sabrán que yo soy el Señor.
5 Thus says the Lord GOD: Disaster upon disaster! See it coming!	5 Así habla el Señor: ¡Una desgracia nunca vista! ¡Ya llega la desgracia!
6 An end is coming, the end is coming upon you! See it coming!	6 ¡Llega el fin, se acerca el fin para ti, ya es inminente!
7 The climax has come for you who dwell in the land! The time has come, near is the day: a time of consternation, not of rejoicing.	7 ¡Te toca el turno, habitante del país! Llega el tiempo, el día está cerca. ¡Hay confusión y no alegría en las montañas!
8 Soon now I will pour out my fury upon you and spend my anger upon you; I will judge you according to your conduct and lay upon you the consequences of all your abominations.	8 Ahora, en seguida, derramaré mi furor sobre ti, desahogaré mi ira contra ti, te juzgaré según tu conducta y haré recaer sobre ti todas tus abominaciones.
9 I will not look upon you with pity nor have mercy; I will deal with you according to your conduct, and the consequences of your abominations shall be in your midst; then shall you know that it is I, the LORD, who strike.	9 No te miraré con piedad y no me compadeceré, haré recaer sobre ti tu mala conducta, y tus abominaciones persistirán en medio de ti: así ustedes sabrán que yo, el Señor, soy el que golpeo.
10 See, the day of the LORD! See, the end is coming! Lawlessness is in full bloom, insolence flourishes,	10 ¡Ya llega el día, ay llega! ¡Te toca el turno, ha florecido la vara, ha germinado el orgullo!
11 violence has risen to support wickedness. It shall not be long in coming, nor shall it delay.	11 La violencia se ha alzado como vara de maldad. No queda nada de ellos, nada de su tumulto ni de su agitación; no hay tregua para ellos.
12 The time has come, the day dawns. Let not the buyer rejoice nor the seller mourn, for wrath shall be upon all the throng.	12 Ha llegado el tiempo, el día es inminente; que el comprador no se alegre ni el vendedor se entristezca, porque la ira amenaza a toda la multitud.
13 The seller shall not regain what he sold as long as he lives, for wrath shall be upon all the throng. Because of his sins, no one shall preserve his life.	13 No, el vendedor no recuperará lo que ha vendido, aunque siga viviendo. Porque la visión que amenaza a la multitud no será revocada, y a causa de su iniquidad, nadie podrá retener su vida.
14 They shall sound the trumpet and make everything ready, yet no one shall go to war, for my wrath is upon all the throng.	14 Tocarán la trompeta y se harán los preparativos, pero nadie acudirá al combate, porque mi ira amenaza a toda la multitud.
15 The sword is outside; pestilence and hunger are within. He that is in the country shall die by the sword; pestilence and famine shall devour those in the city.	15 ¡Afuera la espada, adentro la peste y el hambre! El que está en el campo morirá por la espada y al que está en la ciudad, lo consumirán el hambre y la peste.
16 Even those who escape and flee to the mountains like the doves of the valleys--I will put them all to death, each one for his own sins.	16 Los sobrevivientes huirán, y estarán en las montañas como las palomas de los valles; y todos morirán, cada uno por su culpa.
17 All their hands shall be limp, and all their knees shall run with water.	17 Todas las manos desfallecerán y flaquearán todas las rodillas.
18 They shall put on sackcloth, and horror shall cover them; shame shall be on all their faces and baldness on all their heads.	18 Se vestirán de sayal y los invadirá el pánico; habrá confusión en todos los rostros y todas las cabezas serán rapadas.
19 They shall fling their silver into the streets, and their gold shall be considered refuse. Their silver and gold cannot save them on the day of the LORD'S wrath. They shall not be allowed to satisfy their craving or fill their bellies, for this has been the occasion of their sin.	19 Arrojarán su plata por las calles y su oro se convertirá en basura: su plata y su oro no podrán salvarlos el día del furor del Señor. No saciarán su avidez, ni llenarán sus entrañas, porque el oro y la plata fueron la piedra de tropiezo que los hizo caer en la iniquidad
20 In the beauty of their ornaments they put their pride: they made of them their abominable images (their idols). For this reason I make them refuse.	20 Pusieron su orgullo en la hermosura de sus joyas e hicieron con ellas las imágenes abominables de sus ídolos. Por eso las convertiré en inmundicia:
21 I will hand them over as booty to foreigners, to be spoiled and defiled by the wicked of the earth.	21 las entregaré como botín a los extranjeros y como despojos a los impíos de la tierra, y ellos las profanarán.
22 I will turn away my face from them, and my treasure shall be profaned: robbers shall enter and profane it.	22 Apartaré de ellos mi rostro y mi tesoro será profanado: entrarán en él los invasores y lo profanarán.
23 They shall wreak slaughter, for the land is filled with bloodshed and the city full of violence.	23 Llevarán a cabo una matanza porque el país está lleno de juicios por homicidio y la ciudad llena de violencia.
24 I will bring in the worst of the nations, who shall take possession of their houses. I will put an end to their proud strength, and their sanctuaries shall be profaned.	24 Haré venir a las naciones más feroces, para que se adueñen de sus casas; acabaré con la soberbia de los poderosos y serán profanados sus santuarios.
25 When anguish comes they shall seek peace, but there will be none.	25 ¡Llega la angustia! Buscarán la paz, pero no la tendrán;
26 There shall be disaster after disaster, rumor after rumor. Prophetic vision shall fade; instruction shall be lacking to the priest, and counsel to the elders,	26 vendrá una desgracia sobre otra y una mala noticia tras otra. Implorarán una visión al profeta, le faltará la enseñanza al sacerdote y el consejo a los ancianos.
27 while the prince shall be enveloped in terror, and the hands of the common people shall tremble. I will deal with them according to their conduct, and according to their judgments I will judge them; thus they shall know that I am the LORD.	27 El rey estará de duelo, el príncipe se cubrirá de desolación y temblarán las manos de la gente. Yo los trataré conforme a su conducta, los juzgaré según sus juicios, y sabrán que yo soy el Señor.
