Ezekiel 7

1 Thus the word of the LORD came to me:	1 La palabra de Yahveh me fue dirigida en estos términos:
2 Son of man, now say: Thus says the Lord GOD to the land of Israel: An end! The end has come upon the four corners of the land!	2 Hijo de hombre, di: Así dice el Señor Yahveh a la tierra de Israel: ¡El fin! Llega el fin sobre los cuatro extremos de esta tierra.
3 Now the end is upon you; I will unleash my anger against you and judge you according to your conduct and lay upon you the consequences of all your abominations.	3 Ahora es el fin para ti; voy a desencadenar mi cólera contra ti, para juzgarte según tu conducta y pedirte cuentas de todas tus abominaciones.
4 I will not look upon you with pity nor have mercy; I will bring your conduct down upon you, and the consequences of your abominations shall be in your midst; then shall you know that I am the LORD.	4 No tendré para ti una mirada de piedad, no te perdonaré, sino que te pediré cuentas de tu conducta; aparecerán tus abominaciones en medio de ti, y sabréis que yo soy Yahveh.
5 Thus says the Lord GOD: Disaster upon disaster! See it coming!	5 Así dice el Señor Yahveh: ¡Desgracia única! ¡Ya viene la desgracia!
6 An end is coming, the end is coming upon you! See it coming!	6 Se acerca el fin, el fin se acerca vigilante sobre ti, es ya inminente.
7 The climax has come for you who dwell in the land! The time has come, near is the day: a time of consternation, not of rejoicing.	7 Te llega el turno, habitante del país. Llega el tiempo, está cercano el día, consternación, que no ya ¡hurra!, en los montes.
8 Soon now I will pour out my fury upon you and spend my anger upon you; I will judge you according to your conduct and lay upon you the consequences of all your abominations.	8 Ahora voy a derramar sin tregua mi furor sobre ti y a desahogar mi cólera en ti; voy a juzgarte según tu conducta y a pedirte cuentas de todas tus abominaciones.
9 I will not look upon you with pity nor have mercy; I will deal with you according to your conduct, and the consequences of your abominations shall be in your midst; then shall you know that it is I, the LORD, who strike.	9 No tendré una mirada de piedad, no perdonaré; te pediré cuentas de tu conducta; tus abominaciones aparecerán en medio de ti, y sabréis que yo soy Yahveh, el que hiere.
10 See, the day of the LORD! See, the end is coming! Lawlessness is in full bloom, insolence flourishes,	10 He aquí el día, hele que viene: sale el turno, la vara está florida, florida la insolencia.
11 violence has risen to support wickedness. It shall not be long in coming, nor shall it delay.	11 Se ha erguido la violencia para hacerse vara de maldad...
12 The time has come, the day dawns. Let not the buyer rejoice nor the seller mourn, for wrath shall be upon all the throng.	12 Ha llegado el momento, está cercano el día. No se alegre el comprador, no se entristezca el vendedor, porque la ira es contra toda su multitud.
13 The seller shall not regain what he sold as long as he lives, for wrath shall be upon all the throng. Because of his sins, no one shall preserve his life.	13 El vendedor no volverá a lo vendido, mientras viva entre los vivos, pues la ira contra toda su multitud no será revocada; y nadie, por su iniquidad, tendrá segura su vida.
14 They shall sound the trumpet and make everything ready, yet no one shall go to war, for my wrath is upon all the throng.	14 Se tocará la trompeta, todo estará a punto, pero nadie marchará al combate, porque mi ira es contra toda su multitud.
15 The sword is outside; pestilence and hunger are within. He that is in the country shall die by the sword; pestilence and famine shall devour those in the city.	15 Está la espada afuera, la peste y el hambre dentro. El que se encuentre en el campo morirá a espada, y al que esté en la ciudad, el hambre y la peste lo devorarán.
16 Even those who escape and flee to the mountains like the doves of the valleys--I will put them all to death, each one for his own sins.	16 Sus supervivientes escaparán, andarán por los montes, como las palomas de los valles, todos ellos gimiendo, cada uno por sus culpas.
17 All their hands shall be limp, and all their knees shall run with water.	17 Todas las manos desmayarán, todas las rodillas se irán en agua.
18 They shall put on sackcloth, and horror shall cover them; shame shall be on all their faces and baldness on all their heads.	18 Se ceñirán ellos de sayal, un escalofrío los invadirá. En todos los rostros la vergüenza, todas las cabezas rasuradas.
19 They shall fling their silver into the streets, and their gold shall be considered refuse. Their silver and gold cannot save them on the day of the LORD'S wrath. They shall not be allowed to satisfy their craving or fill their bellies, for this has been the occasion of their sin.	19 Arrojarán su plata por las calles y su oro se convertirá en inmundicia; ni su plata, ni su oro les podrán salvar el día del enojo de Yahveh. No se saciarán más, no llenarán más su vientre, porque ello era la ocasión de su culpa.
20 In the beauty of their ornaments they put their pride: they made of them their abominable images (their idols). For this reason I make them refuse.	20 De la hermosura de sus joyas hicieron el objeto de su orgullo: con ellas fabricaron las imágenes de sus monstruos abominables; por eso yo se lo convertiré en inmundicia.
21 I will hand them over as booty to foreigners, to be spoiled and defiled by the wicked of the earth.	21 Yo lo entregaré al saqueo de los extranjeros, al despojo de los más impíos de la tierra, que lo profanarán.
22 I will turn away my face from them, and my treasure shall be profaned: robbers shall enter and profane it.	22 Retiraré mi rostro de ellos, mi tesoro será profanado: los invasores penetrarán en él y lo profanarán.
23 They shall wreak slaughter, for the land is filled with bloodshed and the city full of violence.	23 Haz una cadena, porque esta tierra está llena de delitos de sangre, la ciudad repleta de violencia.
24 I will bring in the worst of the nations, who shall take possession of their houses. I will put an end to their proud strength, and their sanctuaries shall be profaned.	24 Yo haré venir a las naciones más crueles, que se apoderarán de sus casas. Pondré fin al orgullo de los poderosos y sus santuarios serán profanados.
25 When anguish comes they shall seek peace, but there will be none.	25 Llega el terror; ellos buscarán la paz, pero no la habrá.
26 There shall be disaster after disaster, rumor after rumor. Prophetic vision shall fade; instruction shall be lacking to the priest, and counsel to the elders,	26 Vendrá desastre tras desastre, noticia tras noticia: se pedirá al profeta una visión, le faltará al sacerdote la ley, el consejo a los ancianos.
27 while the prince shall be enveloped in terror, and the hands of the common people shall tremble. I will deal with them according to their conduct, and according to their judgments I will judge them; thus they shall know that I am the LORD.	27 El rey estará en duelo, el príncipe hundido en la desolación, las manos del pueblo de la tierra temblarán. Yo los trataré según su conducta, los juzgaré según sus juicios, y sabrán que yo soy Yahveh.
